Peng Zhang

Peng Zhang is Chairman of Lianhai Capital. Peng guides Lianhai’s vision and strategy, inspiring innovation and growth. Peng obtained his PhD in Statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 20 years of experience in global asset management. He spent several years at Credit Suisse in New York and Hong Kong, closely working with the International Trading Solutions group and Investment Banking department. In 2012, Peng also founded X-Asset Management, which has grown to be one of the best-known quantitative asset managers in China.

Qing Zhou attended Peking University, where he earned his Bachelor and Master degrees in Applied Mathematics. He has over 14 years of experience in quantitative investment, with a particular focus on macro investment. Prior to joining Lianhai, Qing worked as portfolio manager and fund manager at China Asset Management. Being passionate in quantitative investment research, he has spent his career applying quantitative methods to the practical world of asset management. Since joining Lianhai, Qing has been instrumental in the evolution of Lianhai’s quantitative approach to creating and implementing innovative investment strategies.

Peng Zhang is Chairman of Lianhai Capital. Peng guides Lianhai’s vision and strategy, inspiring innovation and growth.
