Great for thinking and analyzing deeper

This book aims to teach you how to recognize your own biases and flaws in thinking. As the author notes this is the way to clearer thinking and the ability to make decisions in a more definitive way. That is so crucial to many aspects of our life. At work our time is valuable and often money hinges on our ability to analyze a situation quickly and clearly. I liked that the author made those connections to the real world. It takes the theoretical and show how it can be applied. I also liked that the author took a look at how we can help our teenagers develop critical thinking. That is such an important skill for young adults to have. I am very happy with this book.

It was okay. Not the best book on this topic and grammar was not up to par for a book that also covers clear thoughts and presentation. It was not awful, but it was not great either for the price.

So Importamt

Critical thinking is critical to being successful in life. Many people go “with their gut”. Which is usually more emotional, than rational thinking. This book helps you figure out the difference between feeling and thinking rationally.
