On my Photos s24u is sooo much oversharpen that on a Computer screen it looks awful noisy and this on normal daylight outside. And Night shots often wrong colors, purple sky and so on. So for me the cam for such a phone is a disapointment also charging Speed.

The 12/256 Samsung Ultra is listed for $999 and that is with no charger. The 12/256 OnePlus 12 is listed for $699 but includes a high power and high speed charger and cable. Also there is a $100 recycle discount on OnePlus and other discounts easily available on OP 12.
For the price of one Samsung Ultra 24 with charger etc, you could buy two OP12 phones with included cables and chargers by using discounts available with One Plus!
The differences between the Samsung Ultra 24 and One Plus 12 are minimal to me. If I did even want AI in my phone...One Plus 12Snapdragon chip is set up for AI and I believe AI will be available on OP12.
I saw the results of a camera review among top phones which is all very subjective. The three top performing camera phones were all Google Pixels and coming in fourth was the OnePlus 12. I do not need anywhere near the quality of video and pictures the OP 12 produces.
I think the folks at Samsung have been charging double for a phone that is matched closely by the One Plus 12 that comes with a free better battery/charger etc... I like my keeping as much of my money as possible and so do many other folks so EZ choice! One Plus 12 is the winner.

OP12 is the value king flagship of 2024!! 😊

Hey, did you guys forgot to mention how over processed are the Samsung photos to make sky's look blue. But in OP12 photos they kept it original with clouds.
Overall, OP12 is the winner between these two considering the price differences.

I got my OP12, Chinese version, for 530€ (16/512) in the Aliexpress Anniversary, with Oxygen preinstalled, working perfectly fine in Spain.
The cheapest you could get the S24 Ultra was in the launch day, giving a phone, being student and many other stupid tasks for about 900€.
So, yeah..

you probably should have enabled perf mode on the op before running geekbench, by default all their flagship phones cap the SoC I think.

The OnePlus 12 costs €400 less than the S24 Ultra at their respective 512GB configuration. The OnePlus 12 also costs €100 less than the S24+ at the 512GB configuration. That is not even mentioning that the OnePlus gets 4GB more RAM and a free case and free power adapter.

I am using OnePlus, and this brand is untrustworthy. When their phone is new in the market they make the news being great in lot of things, after couple of software updates it keeps on degrading, where as Samsung have smooth and consistent software updates.

It's to be noted that wifi calling on the OnePlus 12 is not supported by at&t whatsoever. I don't know about other carriers. It's crazy to think a basic feature isn't supported just because it's not a at&t branded phone. At&t shouldnt have a BYOD program if they can't support basic functions of a cellphone.

TSMC is Taiwan and Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo are China. Hyundai has even decided to build one of its factories in Singapore. It used to be Asia being the underdog but now we are the leaders and the west is playing catch-up.
