Fed-up England followers expressed delight at the news musical instruments won't be allowed into venues during the 2014 tournament.
World Cup managing director Ron Delmont confirmed: "Brazil doesn't need instruments to enhance what you are going to experience in the stadium."
The ear-bruising England Supporters' Band are a regular feature at Three Lions matches, despite many fans saying they don't enjoy their soundtrack.
Others have also claimed their presence ruins the atmosphere at games.
Comedian David Baddiel, who co-wrote Euro 96 classic 'Football's Coming Home', previously commented: "I tire of endless Rule Brittanias and Great Escapes."
And one fan today asked on Twitter: "Is there a more annoying noise than the England band?"
Another added: "Please god, someone make them stop."
But band member John Hemmingham has vowed his troupe will fight for access to England games in Brazil.

The brass-players were originally banned from Euro 2012 venues, until the Football Association stepped in on their behalf.
He said: "Instruments are banned from most grounds including Wembley, but we have got a fantastic relationship with the Football Association and I'm sure they will be doing their best to help us on this particular occasion.
"Obviously you can't have everybody bringing a drum into the stadium or it would be chaos, but we're all about creating a happy atmosphere and I'm sure when organisers realise this we will be all right."
Hemmingham says his group haven't missed an England game since 1996 and will be in Brazil "regardless" of a musical ban.
He added: "We would never miss the match, but if we were not allowed in we would still be there to create a great atmosphere outside the stadium."
