Exactly a year ago, Alexis Sanchez tickled the ivories in that unveiling video and Ed Woodward was being hailed as the GOAT. That's the 'greatest of all-time' to you and me.
United shocked the football world when they made an opportunistic move for the Chilean - just as he appeared destined to move to bitter rivals Manchester City at the start of the January transfer window.
Woodward was keen to send out a statement by bringing one of the Premier League's biggest names to Old Trafford and, on the surface, it looked a smart deal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who had struggled for game time in his final months at United, would go one way and Sanchez the other. There was no transfer fee involved but an eye-watering financial package saw Sanchez become the club's highest earner.
It was a price worth paying as far as Woodward was concerned - his approval ratings were never higher than after the deal went through - and Sanchez's new team-mates were quickly impressed.
"We all knew what he was capable of anyway. He’s been with us for a few days now in training and some of the stuff he’s done is unbelievable," Luke Shaw told MUTV.
"After training the other day, there were four of us outside there doing free-kicks and he literally put five in the top corner in a row and we all were just like, 'Wow, this guy'".

Shaw's verdict set the tone for Sanchez's first year at United. The 30-year-old's application has never been in doubt - he trained at Carrington on Christmas Day when he technically had the day off as he recovered from a hamstring injury - but it has just not happened for him on the field.
No player created more chances, 43, in his first year at Old Trafford but Sanchez has just four goals and nine assists to his name and a full pre-season last summer has not had the desired effect.
Mourinho tried jolting him - leaving him out of the match day squad against West Ham despite Sanchez making the journey down to London - and even moved him out of his favoured position on the left wing. But Mourinho never found the answer.
It falls to interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to do just that and Sanchez could make his first start under the Norwegian when he returns to the Emirates on Friday night.
Sanchez knows he has to raise his game after Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard quickly established themselves as United's most balanced and dangerous front line under Solskjaer.
But you just wonder whether United are going to move away from these kind of opportunistic deals going forward. The club's plans to appoint a head of football in 2019 hint as much.
For too long, United have lacked a coherent strategy and being opportunistic in the transfer market has just not paid dividends.
