Harry Kane named world’s most valuable player at £176m and beats Neymar to top spot

Spurs striker leaves the Brazilian, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe way behind in the latest CIES Football Observatory algorithm

HARRY KANE has been named as the most valuable player in the world – beating the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to top spot.

The Tottenham and England striker is worth £176million.

That’s according to the CIES Football Observatory algorithm released ahead of the World Cup.

PSG forwards Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are second and third on the list.

The attacking duo are worth £171m and £163m respectively.

Another Spurs and Three Lions ace is also included in the top six.

Dele Alli (149.8m) comes in just behind Barcelona’s Messi (£161m) and Liverpool’s Mo Salah (£150m).

Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne rocks up as the seventh most valuable with a worth of £146m.

Atletico Madrid and France attacker Antoine Griezmann is in eighth spot (£144.1m) while Juventus ace Paulo Dybala is ninth worth £143.9m.

And Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku completes the top ten with a figure of £143.2m.

Surprisingly, Real Madrid legend Ronaldo is ranked way back in 24th place and worth only £91m.

The 33-year-old was the oldest player in the top 100 transfer values listed.

Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 19, was the youngest name to feature at 73rd with a worth of £59m.
