Male SEX DOLLS with bionic penises that are ‘better than a vibrator’ coming in 2018, as boss admits female buyers already interested
The company behind last year's robot sex doll Harmony says it's hard at work on a new all-male version of its saucy droid companions
SEX doll firm Realbotix has revealed that a new male robot with a "bionic penis" will land later this year.
The smutty companions will be targeted at a new female audience, and will each be fitted with an AI "personality".
The new male sex robots are a follow-up to the female versions, which the Californian start-up launched to customers just last year.
Each robot comes powered by an artificial intelligence called Harmony, which works by pairing a smart mobile application with a robotic head to simulate life.
The app lets users customise the personality of their lifelike sex dolls, so each and every model will act and talk in different ways depending on the customer.
Right now, Realbotix is only selling female versions of these Harmony avatars, setting randy buyers back an incredible $15,000 – around £11,000.
Speaking to the Daily Star Online, Realbotix CEO Matt McMullen said: "We're working on a male version of the robot AI. We'll eventually have a male and a female platform available."
McMullen teased that the dolls would be fitted with a bionic penis that he claims will feel "better than a vibrator".
He added that users would be able to "plug the robot in", meaning that the sex droid could go "as long as you want".
There's no set size for the robot's manhood either, so customers will be able choose from a wide variety of tallywackers – the "sky is the limit", McMullen adds.
Sadly for eager female customers, there's no set date for release just yet.
"There's rebuilding that needs to happen both fronts to create a male platform," says the Realbotix boss.
"We're working hard on that and that's one of the next big things we're looking to get up and running."
Matt believes the male sex robots will help do away with the idea that his dolls are only built for men who want to objectify women.
"We have an equal interest in male and female versions of what we're doing."
"I feel it's important to offer both. We get a lot of people gravitating to the fact that we've just made a female robot so far."
"People have accused us of objectifying women, but i's important that people know that this is more than a sex toy."
"We have a lot of female customers interested in buying male robots as companions to talk to and interact with," he added.
