Serena Williams stuns in a HUGE £2.6million wedding dress as she ties the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian
SERENA Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian have shared the first pictures from their lavish $1million wedding on Thursday.
The couple, who tied the knot in New Orleans' Contemporary Arts Center, can be seen passionately kissing after saying their vows in a picture posted by Alexis.
The tennis ace, 36, looked incredible in her stunning £2.6million Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress, which boasted a huge skirt, and sparkling XIV Karats jewellery. Meanwhile Alexis wore a velvet jacket and grey trousers by Armani.
He wrote beside the picture of the pair kissing: "You are the greatest of all time, not just in sport--I’m talking about as a mother and as a wife."
On finding her perfect wedding dress, Serena told Vogue: "I flew to London to meet with Sarah and ended up falling in love with the ball gown silhouette, which is completely the opposite of what I ever thought I would choose for myself.
"I loved the idea of doing a really spectacular ball gown, and it has turned out to be such an incredibly special piece."
After they'd become husband and wife, Serena changed into her second dress - a white, beaded and feathered Versace piece.
In another shot from the big day, the couple sat on a sofa, with their newborn daughter, Alexis Junior, laying in her mother's arms. The full scale of Serena's skirt was on show as she sat, with the fabric taking up the majority of the shot.
The pair married in front of A-list guests including Beyonce and Kim Kardashian.
The tennis champ threw a Beauty and the Beast-themed bash and held a cocktail reception in the street outside the venue.
The nuptials were shrouded in secrecy, and even A-list attendees including Jay Z, Beyonce and Kim didn't find out the exact details until the morning of the wedding.
It was held at the city's historic Contemporary Arts Center and veteran boyband New Edition were reportedly booked to play a set at the reception.
Other guests included actress Eva Longoria, who attended with her husband Jose Baston.
The former Desperate Housewives star looked stunning in a long, blue, sparkly gown.
Kim was spotted jetting into New Orleans ahead of the ceremony, and she saved time by getting changed in the airport before heading into town for the bash.
She arrived in grey tracksuit bottoms and an over-sized denim coat, which she swapped for a chic black dress before being driven to the wedding.
Serena's sister Venus was among the guests along with her daughter Serena's two-month-old daughter Alexis.

The couple were spotted arriving in a private jet, and the singer was sporting a new hair style with braids down to her waist.

Jay Z is said to have been in attendance, but had to rush off to North Carolina immediately after the wedding to perform his next tour date.
The nuptials are believed to have cost more than $1 million, and a street was said to have been closed off outside the Arts Center.
A bar was set up outside and Vogue boss Anna Wintour was seen among the guests having a drink in the street.
