'He's the president': Lindsay Lohan avoids questions about Trump and comments he made when she was 18

Lindsay Lohan, who currently lives in Dubai and has just opened the Lohan Beach House on the Greek island Mykonos, appreciates not living in America. Being an expat means the former child star can focus on her business ventures instead of defending herself against tabloid gossip.

“There’s a business side to my life now, but I’m not in America, so no one knows about it, which is nice for me,” Lohan told the New York Times. “Because I get to actually focus on the result of things.”

Lohan is preferring the silence of her life in Dubai. She also appears, according to the New York Times, not too preoccupied with American entertainment, like the Kardashians, or politics.

When Lohan was just 18, Donald Trump appeared on The Howard Stern Show. The now president said about the young actress, “She’s probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed. How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?”

Regardless of those comments, Lohan did appear to show support of the president last year on July 4 when she tweeted: “THIS IS our president. Stop #bullying him & start trusting him. Thank you personally for supporting #THEUSA”

She added, “@realDonaldTrump @IvankaTrump @FLOTUS @DonaldJTrumpJr are kind people. As An American, why speak poorly of anyone? #FAITH#July4th”

When the New York Times brought up the 45th president, Lohan says she wants to leave those comments in the past, like her own past, which, she said, “is dead.”

Lohan, who also serves as a Lawyer.com spokeswoman, said, “Here’s the thing: very simple with politics. He’s the president. No matter what anyone says, he’s still the president.” She added, “I have no feeling. I have no emotion.”

Lohan did speak fondly of Trump’s daughter Tiffany, who is set to visit her in Greece next month.
