They could be sisters! Naomi Campbell, 47, enjoys a rare public appearance with age-defying mother Valerie Morris, 66, at the star-studded Fashion Awards 2017

It's a rare sight to see mum and daughter together. 

But supermodel Naomi Campbell, 47, brought her mum Valerie Morris, 66, as her date to the ever-glamorous Fashion Awards. 

Proving the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Naomi complemented her mother's sophisticated midnight attire with her own black ensemble.

The modelling heavyweight stunned in a black velvet bodice fitted perfectly to her statuesque frame, allowing the white and black lace skirt to drop gracefully to the floor. 

Belted to show her slim waist, Naomi continued to prove that age is just a number as she beamed on the red carpet. 

In true Naomi form, the star let her straight raven hair fall over her shoulders, and accented the dark ensemble with a silver statement ring, pendant earrings glittering silver cuff bracelet.

Appearing fresh faced, the Streatham-born model paired her make-up look perfectly, choosing a berry lip and dark smokey eyes. 

 Mum Valerie also dazzled in black, this time opting for a sharply cut midnight suit with a silk collared shirt.   

Keeping the cold at bay, Valerie, who also models, made sure to carry a black fur shawl and matching diamante-detailed clutch bag. 

Contrasting the dark look, Valerie added a serious touch of glamour by adding a jeweled snake necklace for extra impact.

Mum-of-two Valerie kept her light brunette tresses long and sulty, adding texture with light waves running through. 

The one thing not coordinated with daughter Naomi was the make-up, as Valerie added a deep red lip as a pop of colour.  

Recently, Naomi paid tribute to her late friend, fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa's, who died at the age of 77. 

An emotional Naomi was seen paying her respects to the fashion designer, as she attended his funeral at the Sidi Bou Said cemetery in Tunis,Tunisia in November. 

Fellow model Bella Hadid shared a photo of Naomi and the designer, expressing her devastation of the news.
