April 9, 2024I am a tech user who only uses windows and android os. I used to have an iphone, but when I switched to Samsung it was way better and I never went back. I am saying this because the one thing I like about apple is their tablets. I never liked android based tablets because I feel that apps are usually not optimized well with them and even android os feels werid on their tablets as well. As for the device itself, it is a budget ipad that will get 90% of what people look for in tablets done. It has a low refresh rate compared to other models, as well as a lower quality screen but not bad enough to complain about. If you surf the web, use it for Netflix, and basic tablet functions it will be the best option for you. While the more expensive ipads are better in every way, they are for a very small percentage of people who expect high performance from a tablet. Apple still sells the 9th generation ipad, but I chose the 10th because of the bigger screen, smaller bezels, more speakers, and most importantly usb-c. I am not sure why Apple as a company has used lightning chargers for over 10 years now when better technology exists, but being 10 years late to the party is better than nothing I guess.... Lastly the pricing of ipads are very steep. If you are looking to get any ipad make sure to find them on sale or wait until a new version comes out to get the old one. Apple is known for this unfortunately.

January 12, 2024I absolutely love this thing! It runs amazing with no lag or performance issues. The only thing I don’t like about is that my pencil will not connect and charge on the side of it, while yet, the apple Magic Keyboard and some other premium brand keyboards will. It just doesn’t make any sense. But other than that, I truly love it. There isn’t too much of a selection out there of keyboards or cases though, but that really has nothing to do with this. It also has extremely great looking graphics and sound. Not to mention that the tablet itself is very nice and clean looking! The blue color tone with just the right amount of sparkle and shine to it is just beautiful! While still seeming very durable thus far! Although, I would still obviously recommend a good case and screen protector for it though, you must always protect the assets!
Either way, it was ultimately a great purchase for both me and my oldest daughter that’s 5. She absolutely loves it and plays her games on it with no problems. For the price, you 100% cannot beat it. I am thankful I had an affordable option for a great tablet. If I could give an extra star I would! I would highly recommend it for just about any age group. It’s performance is just unbeatable at the price.

August 15, 2024This iPad was a forward-looking impulse purchase I made I'm not a total Apple fan boy but I do appreciate the portability and versatility of an iPad, along with the wide selection of apps available from the Apple app store. I have 2 old iPads that have served me well but have aged beyond "vintage" into "museum relic" status. I also have a well-used iPad 6, which is old but not yet obsolete. However, I'm guessing Apple will decide the 6 is not technically robust enough to run their new iOS 18 coming in the Fall. So, looking to secure my iPad future, I splurged on this 10th gen iPad. It may not be powered by an M chip, but the A14 Bionic chip is still quite robust, providing smooth screen scrolling for reading or web browsing, and even has the juice to game. This 10th gen iPad offers a large 10.9" liquid retina display, 64GB of storage, an upgraded 12MB rear camera, long battery life, and many other essentials that make it a great tablet value. I was happy to be able to get it at a bargain price and I expect it will serve me well into a future when perhaps an iPad powered by an M3 chip goes on sale for cheap. For now, I look to forward to enjoying what iOS 18 has in store for iPad users this Fall. I highly recommend this value-packed 10th gen iPad.

November 22, 2024I got this so I could draw more often, and I don't regret it! I love how smooth this tablet is and how quickly it turns on the next morning. I'm honestly shocked how amazing this tablet is compared to others I've used. The battery lasts days for me as I use this for drawing and nothing else, so it's perfect when the electricity is out or when I'm on the go.
Also, it charges so fast! I plug in my Apple Pen, and it charges from 19% to 40% in seconds to minutes.
It's pretty crazy to see how this tablet runs, as I've never had an Apple product before, and with this, it feels like I jumped many years in tech; I feel like I've been missing out on iPads this whole time.
I will say this: I have not tested the durability, but it hasn't broken from drawing and carrying it everywhere, and I have a case, so I wouldn't break it with a fall or dropping it, so I give it a thumbs up so far. The display is beautiful in person, and the colors are wonderful for drawing, so I would give it a 10/10 for the colors alone. The only issue I'm facing is that I can't figure out how to stop the display from changing the brightness. Sometimes the brightness will darken after 30 minutes to an hour, and I can't find a setting to fix it. Other than that, I love it and would highly recommend it, especially this holiday season.
