This is an excellent advent calender. I liked that it is from lego and that each blocks are of lego. I liked that each calender day contains a lego buidling block that eventually plays a part in the pretend city play. Each day brings a joy to the child after they open the box and make the building block. I also liked that the instruction is given in picture, though not step by step by it is easy to understand and make it. Quality is very good and is of original lego. I think it is an old model and expected the price to be less. Apart from that everything os good about this advent calender

The builds aren’t related to Christmas…nor are they labeled. There was a “dessert table” with a white cylinder lego that nobody knew what it was. There was an unattached shovel inside a vehicle bag. Many trucks, planes, helicopters, etc that had nothing to do with Christmas. My kids are 8 & 9 and they both were disappointed with the lego “scene” as it didn’t seem like a Christmas scene to them. This was our first year to try the advent calendar with them and to be honest, I’m not sure we will again.

So disappointed.
Mostly just mini figures and vehicles. Even the occassional random build - dont know if they are buildings or what purpose they serve.
Previous years had a cohesive theme and pieces, this year just seems like the reject ideas on a play mat that doesnt even have a practical space for half of the builds.
Will seriously reconsider next year.
