Pros: adorable patterns, keeps temperature hot/cold, easy to clean, fairly indestructible, cute gift packaging. Con: not leak proof. Cup went sideways in my daughters bag, lid was fully screwed on and water still leaked out of the top sipping/straw areas. Not a dealbreaker for us as we were purchasing for the aesthetic mostly. Also would have preferred if the purple cup came with a purple dust bag instead of the same pink one the pink cup comes with to be able to tell them apart if you have them stored in a cabinet in the dust bag. I’ve never owned or purchased a Stanley before. I have ignored the hype. Daughter has tons that she has received as gifts. Was able to get my hands on the viral, sold out in seconds, Love Shack Fancy x Stanley Limited Edition Collaboration 40oz Tumblers and they are adorable. All of my daughters friends were desperate for them and thrilled that I was able to get some. Nice not to have to constantly refill your water during the day if you were sitting at a desk or something, but the cup is heavy.
Great value and function

This is a versatile insulated mug.

The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic. It has a higher grip textured surface area where the thumb and fingers grip the handle. The handle is also large enough to slide one's hand into the handle and grip the mug directly which is more comfortable if you are going to carry it for a while because it is slightly heavy when full.

I have several Yeti as well as this Stanley and it keeps beverages just as cold.

I compared the 40 oz, 1.18L Stanley vs the 40 oz Yeti. The Stanley holds the full 40 oz and doesn't push liquid out the top when one places the cap on like the Yeti does. The Yeti handle is smaller with sharper edges to the handle, and not as comfortable.

A great value

I bought into the hype of the Stanley and bought this cup not expecting anything special, just another mug. However, I think it's more than just the average to-go cups I have in my arsenal. It's cute, keeps my drinks cold, easy to use, and essential to take with me on my daily adventures. I LOVE that it fits in my car's drink holder, which has been my biggest issue with my past cups/mugs. It keeps your drinks cold and your ice stays frozen, but contrary to popular belief that ice will melt when you do multiple refills. And, of course, the more ice the longer it stays. This cup does leak rather easily when tipped over since it has straw and no locking mechanism but this can be easily fixed with a straw topper.
Minerals

So. This cup- it’s a simple must if you’re a bamboo mom. A MUST. Cause if you don’t you won’t fit in. Everyone had one and always advertised it so I had to see what the hype was about and boy was I missing out. The MINERALS you guys, the MINERALS that you taste when drinking from a Stanley is absolutely unexplainable. It is so fresh tasting, the freshest taste you will ever taste. I’ve gotten everyone from coworkers to my own grandmother to get one of these cups and they all agree. THE MINERALS. So fresh. It holds up pretty well too. It fell off our kitchen island onto tile flooring and not one dent or scratch. Granted, I did snag myself a lil studded bootie for my citron (from Amazon) for a little protection from the clumsiness I tend to face on a daily basis. I recommend doing that. I have one of those 40oz 2.0 and I will say the only con, is it wiggles in my cup holder. And this is the only reason why it gets 4 of 5 stars. I thought they were supposed to fit well in cup holders? Oh well. Go get yourself a Stanley, some little sleepies and grab a kyte blanket while you’re at it.
