Chris Rock, Conan O'Brien honor Adam Sandler's Sandy Wexler in new trailer

It's time, once again, for another Adam Sandler Netflix movie. The streaming giant debuted the full trailer for Sandy Wexler, the actor's follow-up to The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over, two other original films he made for Netflix through his Happy Madison production company.

Here, Sandler plays "not a big shot," but a "tiny shot" talent manager based in Hollywood, as Henry Winkler puts it. Chris Rock, Conan O'Brien, Judd Apatow, Penn Jillette, Dana Carvey, David Spade, and more industry figures recall their experiences with him in docu-style interviews.

"He dressed like your grandfather, had the table manners of a horse, but he was a great manager," Jillette says.

Jennifer Hudson costars in the film as Courtney Clark, a powerhouse singer whom Sandy discovers and transforms into a superstar. But when he falls in love with her, Sandy must revisit his devotion to his clients and decide whether to do something for himself.

Accompanying the release of the Sandy Wexler trailer, Netflix released a fake letter from the character.

"Due to the lasting strength, success, and commerciability of the aforementioned stable of legends that I have had the pleasure of representing, a company called Netflix has decided to do a movie based on my life as it has been lived up to this point in time," Sandy writes.

"You will watch me negotiate the cut throat world of children's television, you will experience the high flying terror and thrills of daredevil trapezing, and you will feel the joy of getting someone a call back for a commercial audition," he adds.
