It has bcom a norm 2day to hear ppl say or ryt "R.I.P 2 d Dead" as a way of sympathzin wit..... I'm nt even sure whether d say wit d dead or wit d bereavd. Acordin 2 my knowlege 4rm my religios bakground, wen a persn dies, d soul goes eyda 2 heaven or hell all dependin on d lifestyle on earth b4 d incident of death. Sometimes, u'd even hear ppl say tins lyk - "until we meet 2 part no mor" nt bein mindful of d fact dat u cant tel wia dat persn has ended. Coz if it's hell, den u'r sayin u 'wanna meet d persn in hell *2 part no mor*. U may say I'm jes bein cynical, bt why do we say RIP to d dead wen we aint sure if dey wud truly *R*est *I*n *P*eace? |

It doesn't make a difference. We say these things because we wish the dead would "rest in peace". It's just like saying "Merry Christmas". We hope the christmas would be "merry". Lol. Though prayers and positive words can make a difference to the living, the dead is dead. IMO. 2 Likes |
