Na 2008 thread be dis o🙆

I like Pastor Chris because he knows the Word, I learn a thing or two each time I listen to him. I enjoy listening to him and I'm not ashamed to admit it but the authenticity or otherwise of the miracles_that I can't tell, neither do I know.

Write whatever you; I am not a CE member. However, one thing I will tell you is this: Christ Embassy wouldn't have come this far if everything about the church was fake. Believe whatever you like; people with strong faith in God will still receive their healings through God's power.

OP didn't mention how you asked to go back the way you came so that they can get your arrival on camera.

Took late Dad there when I was still a boy. It changed my perception about some MOG. The only reason he wasn't published was because I sent a threat message, bringing to their attention the likelihood of a scandal, because my Late Dad was a well known Journalist and people will want to congratulate him.

I won't talk much so as not to distort anyone's faith. Truth is, God is omnipresent and ever faithful. If you're able to do a deep soul searching, confess your sins and ask for mercy, He will come to your aid. Sadly, I didn't know this as a boy. Hopefully, my faith would have healed my late Dad.

Why was Chris oyakhilome frolicking with TB joshua back in the days?

Why is he still single after divorcing his wife so many years ago?

Why did he lie about 5G being the Antichrist?

Why did he say masturbation ain't a sin?

The problem I have with religious people is that they worship these men of God instead of the true God....

Even westerners are deceived greatly not to talk of low IQed, gullible, uneducated and brainless nigerians.

The reason is that not only did we not make it to the healing line but several other folks with obvious physical disabilities were also not put on the healing line.
I have said it many times and I'll keep saying it.
The very reason why pastors who "perform miracles" never attempt to heal people with physical deformities like people with amputated limbs, hunchback, cripples with dead legs and people with obvious, huge tumours is because they know that it wouldn't work. They don't want to embarrass themselves. Go and check anywhere at all, you'll never see where an amputee was being healed or prayed on for their lost limb to regrow.
These cIowns will boldly tell you "what God cannot do doesn't exist" but dem dey fear to perform miracles on those set of people. 😂😂
Take any deformed person to any pastor and hear what you'll be told.

I have another version of this healing school.
I have a clse friend who had spent hundreds of thousand of naira on his one ear old daughter who was had kidney problem at the National hospital Abuja.
After months of unending spendings with no improvement at the hospital, he decided to try the healing school of Christ Embassy.
At the healing school after a couple of weeks, the girl was ministered to by Pastor Chris and surprisingly she was healed.
This girl will be 3 yrs old soonest hale, strong and vibrant.
So what do you think about that?
This is not a story, I am a living witness.
You are right to some extent but you are somehow ignorant that your interpretation of faith is based on your feelings rather than what the Word of God teaches.
You are entitled to your opinion but all I know is that your motive for going to the healing school was basically wrong "so Pastor Chris could touch your sick folk!". Does he have to before healing comes?
Finally, if Pastor Chris is trully your role model, father and all those things you called him, I doubt you strongly if he is all these to you. You are definitely one of those who proclaim to be a member of BLW but is actually "completing the square".
To be continued

Being a member of a church should not make one blind ....Church is like a market place. Some are there for the miracle while others wanna know how it happened or not . Everyone's motive deffers ...Pastor Chris claimed he raise more than 50 people from death yet he couldn't raise pastor tb Joshua whom I was told was his friend with same method of healing . I have heard when people say doctor can't cure himself but other doctors can cure them. I expected him to have woken pastor tb Joshua from death ..

Nigerian Christians are the most gullible Christian I have ever seen . That why they are victims of there so called men of God . On the judgement day they will all be disappointed. Even the white man that introduced this Christianity to us are not foolish like us intetns of how they practice it

Haba! Busy body and bad belly people. Na today! We don dey see similar false writers against pastor Chris, even the so called great men of Self among brethren, where are they now? Falsehood will never stand the test of time, it doesn't matter who and what that are involved. We can do better by walking in love and faith, being a source of strength and joy to others including non Christians. Yes! Miracles are so real and easy if you only believe in the integrity of God's word and the ministration of the Holy Ghost in our days. Praise God. Hallelujah! The Word of God Works! Thanks and God bless you in Jesus Name. Amen.
Blind sentimental follower. Why are there two wheel chairs for the same lady that can walk?

What did your friend spend hundreds of thousand of Naira on? a kidney transplant? What kinds of drugs do u give a one yr old with a Kidney problem? Was it the one year old's christian faith that healed him or her? Was the kid born with the kidney problem if so the child would be highly underdeveloped at one year. Please doctors on Nairaland help us out with this one.

I've not said you're a Muslim.
Your statement is factually wrong and is based on the prevailing bias which is actually borne out of the culture of criticism that exists in Christianity.
In actual fact, the most gullible are those who don't question anything and religion wise, Christians are the least on that ladder.
The problem is their proclivity for self-criticism always gives latitude for snide remarks while the real gullibles get an easy pass.
Muslims all fast Ramadan for example while only orthodox Christians fast Lenten.
Not all Christians pay tithes, its more of a pentecostal thing while all Muslims pay zakat
Muslims face only one direction to pray
They can only pray at selected periods in a day.
But you think those who have criticised and liberalised almost all aspects of their religion are the most gullible.
How does that make any factual sense?

SirJohn:
Many have wondered and would like to know the truth about healing and miracle claims from the healing school of Christ Embassy. I’d like say a few things about the genuineness of these miracles which have sparked endless questions. What I’m about to say may sound shocking to you but it is the truth. it is a first hand account of my experience at the healing school.

What you see on loveworld videos/TV, especially miracle testimonies no matter how believable they appear, are simply what Pastor Chris and his TV crew wants you to see. The truth is that a larger number of people including his pastors, partners and even you hardly ever know what goes on behind the camera scenes.

I was at healing school May 2008 session and the discoveries I made blew my mind and shook the very foundation of my faith. I spent a total of 4 weeks at the healing (it had two sessions and each ran for two weeks) this period of time at the healing school afforded me the opportunity to observe certain unusual happenings which I must reveal.

I have been a member and a consistent financial partner of the ministry since 2004. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had been my role model, mentor, prophet and father. I have followed his teachings and doctrines to the letter so much that you couldn't talk with me for 10 Min's without knowing I was his follower.
I had taken someone who was wheelchair bound as a result of spinal cord injury to the Healing school with hope that Pastor Chris would minister to him at the end of the session (at least this is what I was made to believe from several healing school publications) but this was not to be, and the events that followed were shocking and beyond my imagination.

After the first session, there was to be a healing service where the students having received faith to be healed, were put on the healing line to be ministered to by Pastor Chris. This was where my questions started. The reason is that not only did we not make it to the healing line but several other folks with obvious physical disabilities were also not put on the healing line. I made efforts to find out the criteria for the selection that was made; this was what I found out:
I discovered that all wheelchair cases taken to the healing line for ministration were people whose conditions were not such that they couldn't stand or walk. in other words, the people you see popping out of wheelchairs  in those videos can both previously stand and walk. They are carefully selected through a process I will discuss later.

Secondly, to my utter amazement, I also discovered that several other people whom I had seen on different occasions walking around the hall unaided and without any sign of pain or disability during the two weeks session were put on wheelchairs or made to lie on stretchers during this healing service.
After much waiting, the “Man of God” walks in touching every one on the healing line and then proceeds to the wheelchair section; with one touch here and there he instructs them to get up “and they do” wild shouts of excitement reverberated across the auditorium as partners and pastors who have been specially invited to witness the miracles jumped for joy. I felt like sinking through the solid ground, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Once in a while I would utter a word of prayer, I’d say: “Lord please don’t let this be what I think”

I remember a particular man who came for that session; he had been involved in a motor accident which left him with a spinal injury. He had difficulty walking normally because he couldn’t bend both knees while walking (I had seen him walking) he came with a neck guard and two crutches to support himself properly while walking. I observed that two days after coming to the healing school, he started exercising his faith by moving around without the neck guard and crutches, that was how he moved around for two weeks. During the healing service, I was shocked to see the same man with his neck guard and crutches which he hadn't used for two weeks. Pastor Chris prayed for him and took the neck guard off as though it was a big deal, the congregation applauded and stood to their feet as he went on to take the crutches from the man; he then asked the man to walk. The man obviously walked but not any better than he had walked for two weeks without Pastor Chris praying for him.

After the service, as the partners left the hall, the students and the “healed” were asked to wait behind. I observed that one of the two ladies who got out of the wheelchair half an hour ago quietly sat back in her wheelchair with a pale look on her face, the people who brought her all the way from Benin didn't seem like they had seen a miracle; this puzzled me more. The borrowed wheelchairs were returned to the real owners as I looked with great surprise.

Please see the link below:
http://www.christembassyhealingschool.org/new/images/pdf/August2008.pdf
the lady in page 14 (in blue jacket) is the one I'm refering to in the last paragraph. She could both stand and walk before the ministration by Pastor Chris.

The young man in page 15 is reported to have been "unable to walk without a walking frame" yet I had seen him on many ocassions before the healing service walk around without that frame.

The woman in page 16 did not even come to the healing school with a wheelchair; the wheelchair you see does not belong to her
