Before anyone in Egypt was calling himself an Arab, there were Copts (who, by the way, have retained a form of the Ancient Egyptian language) and Nubians in the land. Go figure.

In a cultural sense, the Copts and Nubians are in direct line of descent from the Ancient Egyptians. 'Arab' is a relatively recent identity as far as Egypt is concerned.

It seems to me that these 'African inventions' are mostly a sad pathetic exercise in Political Correctness. If Africans invented all these things, why they lived in such primitives conditions up until very recently? Besides, Egyptians were not Africans per se. If somebody has dark skin it does not necessarily follow is a Black African. I believe the problem here is simple: many people refuse to face reality and prefer to be Politically Correct mostly in fear of being branded 'racist'. it is obvious that Black people are intellectually deficient. That does not mean that they are inherently evil and that they should be exterminated but that their population growth should be controlled especially in USA and Europe, in fact, around the World including Africa itself. In the last forty years, we have seen how China, Turkmenistan, UAE, Qatar, Thailand and many other countries have achieved great levels of development whereas Africa not only did not move forward, it did not even preserve what they inherited from Europe, it actually destroyed it and went backward! In twenty-twenty five years Kazakstan, Turkmenistan, UAE, Qatar built some of the most amazing cities on earth considering that these are desert countries with limited natural resources. Singapure, S. Korea and even India and Puerto Rico have made great strides in the last sixty years. On the other hand, let's look at Congo(DRC) as an example of your typical African country: With the only possible exception of the Russian Federation, that is five times the size of Congo, it is hardly possible that there is another country on earth with more natural wealth than Congo and they live in total poverty. Their excuses that 'we were invaded, colonized, oppressed, enslaved' is total nonsense to me: many, many countries have been invaded, colonized, oppressed and enslaved and they are moving forward at a faster rate than the completely stagnated African countries.
ENOUGH OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: BLACK PEOPLES ARE INTELLECTUALLY INFERIOR TO NON-BLACKS, THEY ARE LAZY AND MORALLY DEFICIENT. THESE PEOPLE POPULATION GROWTH HAS TO BE CONTAINED BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE
