It all depends on you and your own conception of what love is or what love should be. As for me I don't think love is overrated. I believe love is a powerful feeling that can be channeled for positive purposes to the good of those experiencing it.

its true there was more of love in da old times than now but 1 thing that's certain is love still remains love and it aiint overrated

yes i kinda agree with you.But, to arrived at this conclution you must have encounter a bad experience to back it up.Truth is that, things are not thesame now,due to multi factors that are in play now which has make the olden days love to be seen has 'obsolet' hence which weaken or marred the relationship.

My comment also applies to romantic love. The opinion of the average guy isn't necessarily the truth. It's just his opinion which I believe was gotten from negative past romantic experiences where the love he felt for someone wasn't requited. I still maintain that love is powerful and blissful when it's felt genuinely by two people. These days it's quite rare to find this kind of love between couples as most people get into relationships for selfish reasons, but it doesn't make it nonexistent or overrated.
