Any country for real. You can always press charges on your accuser and make sure they pay for their deed but in UK, UK, you go to jail for accusing people and sometimes, get the bill for the investigation etc. Ask Jesse, the empire dude

Recently my male friend was being threatening by a colleague for false rape, this made him very depressed, scared and angry because she is blackmailing him he eventually opened up to me about it and I told him to call her, record their conversation of which she was still threatening him that she will accuse him falsely of rape for reasons I can't disclose here

So we got strong evidence against her false claims and I am a witness!

So my questions is what is the best punishment for false rape accusers, is there any law in the Constitution for these?

The jury system of court trial is what I do not like about American criminal justice system. It's really faulty.

This actually reminds me of my ordeal in my finally year in school. Chai na so I nearly go jail and almost lost my admission for something I didn't do. Luckily, she confessed to the doctor that I was innocent of her accusations after enough damage had been done. If I wasn't strong and God wasn't on my side, I would have been dead and forgotten due to depression and suicidal thoughts.

I wish there were laws to such crime as false rape allegation.

u will see so many souls wrongly accused of rape, defilement, or sexual assault by wives,
girlfriends, friends, etc. 8 witnessed one at ikeja command where a lady accused her ex of rape because he left her for cheating on him. Another one was an Okada man who was accused by a lady for stepping on the brakes indiscriminately. He was arrested for sexual assault and locked up on cooked up charges. Even police will help d complainant by changing d charge sheets to defilement or rape. May God almighty help our youths in Lagos

Well I don't think there is any law that punish false rape accusation, however I believe the person that is accused of rape can sue for defamation and slander.

This will help more if such allegation is made public though.

False rape accusation has become a powerful weapon for woman to use against man. The present strict law on rape is one of the aspects of discrimination the male gender suffers. A man will call against rape (or any attempt of such) by a woman and nobody will care to look his claim over, but a woman will make a similar call against a man and with alacrity the society will call for the man's head before any investigation.

Real cases of rape of women by men is relatively high and increasing, though. It is one of the attendant evils of the computer age that ensues from civilisation, and need to be curtailed with strict measures. For me, any PROVEN rape case will be meted out with nothing less than either death or life sentence__if I were the judge.

At the same time, I am of the view that an equivalent or even stricter punishment need to be emplaced for false rape accusation since any opportune gender can take advantage of the strict law to nail the inopportunist gender.

Given the possibility of the above loophole in rape law, the law on rape need to be revised to reasonably define what make up rape in reality. This will help a long way to cut down on the frequency of false rape accusation. The law need to be balanced to classify seduction as part of sexual harassment and rape attempt. It should designate some places such as hotel ROOMS and personal living rooms as not definable for rape cases. These places are uniquely not for anyone who is self-preventive, self-conscious, and self-alert of rape. Besides, all religions teach against and forbid a meeting of unmarried opposite sex (even when they are courting) in those places mentioned.

Imagine for example, a girl seeking to entroubles his lover for any reason can arrange a meeting with him in such private places. There, she gives the man the green light by sexualise her presentations, her position, her looks, and even attempt seducing the gentleman to succumb if he fails to respect the green light.

Now, after obtaining some drops of seminal fluid (to use as evidence), she pushes the gentleman over (even without allowing him to discharge fully), and spuriously run to the bar half-naked__falsely crying of rape. The hotel management will subsequently get the police involved and that will mark the beginning of trouble for the gentleman. Of course, his real trouble! Because the private room has no CCTV for the shy man to prove his innocence, while the disingenuous lady parade the social media with a police-obtained medical report of semen presence and her half-nude pictures. This is but one way the female folks turned consensual love affair into rape any time they so want for any reason.

As a final submission, I do not see the society making success in its effort to arrest rape incidence (including rape attempts) and the new trend of false of rape accusation if its laws are one-sided or seem to over protect one gender at a disadvantage to the other. Ladies should be responsible, self-conscious and self-alert to avoid with a man any such manner of venereal relationship, arrangement, or romance if they really dislike rape. The honorable men should also display maturity to withstand any slight erotic presentation by the opposite sex. Without these moral attributes in our generation, what I see is a society on the first step of the rape ladder.
