Politics / "Japa Syndrome" Had No Place In Nigeria's First Republic! by z07ion: 9:34pm On Apr 27
MV AUREOL - the very successful luxury ocean passenger liner of the early 50s - shuttling between Britain and Nigeria, seemed to have disappeared into thin air but not like the TITANIC! (According to Wikipedia, it changed ownership, beached and eventually sold in scraps!)

Aureol was a mid-sized British ocean liner, originally put into service for Elder Dempster Lines of Liverpool in 1951. She was constructed on the River Clyde in Glasgow by Alexander Stephen and Sons. At 537 feet long and measuring 14,083 gross register tons, Aureol had room for 329 passengers and carried 145 crew. She spent her entire Elder Dempster career on the UK-Lagos passenger cargo service. From 1951 to 1972 she sailed from Liverpool, but closure of the landing stage and the hope of better loadings led to her being transferred to Southampton (first departure 26 April 1972) for the last two years of her service.

Aureol arrived at Southampton at the end of her final Elder Dempster voyage on 18 October 1974. She was purchased by Greek oil tycoon Yiannis Latsis, and renamed Marianna VI after one of his daughters. In 1989 she was laid up at Eleusina and did not sail again until 2001, when she moved to the Indian port of Alang to be beached and broken up for scrap.

AUREOL - THE FLAGSHIP VESSEL FOR VIBRANT NIGERIAN YOUTHS WHO SOUGHT GREENER PASTURES IN BRITAIN AT INDEPENDENCE!

Nigerian Youths at independence were a determined bunch of nationalistic, patriotic and ideologistic citizens who were determined to lift the new independent nation to International recognition in all industrial/socio-economic studies and engagements.

They travelled on MV Aureol at very minimal costs on the luxurious modern ship to Great Britain to study successfully and returned to Nigeria to build up the nation.
If only the Military had not truncated democracy - Nigeria would not have degenerated to the sordid state , of institutional corruption that have now compelled Nigerian Youths to ("Japa" ie, migrate), at very high costs and at the peril of their lives to offer themselves as slaves to the developed countries of Europe, the United States, Canada etc.!

EVEN AS WILLING SLAVES - THEY ARE BEING REJECTED, BRUTALIZED AND DEPORTED!

This expose' will be restricted to the human rights violation/dehumanization of all category of immigrants from Nigeria and other nations by the United States Immigration according to extracts from an article published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs People's Republic of China.
"US Human Rights Abuse Against Refugees and Immigrants: Truth and Facts. 2023-03-30 10:00.

"In the 21st century, successive U.S. administrations have increasingly restricted immigration and treated immigrants harshly and inhumanely, with arrests, detentions, deportations and repatriation of immigrants on a large scale every year. The U.S. government arrested 850,000 migrants in 2019 and more than 1.7 million in 2021, a record high since 1986.

"The number of immigrants detained has grown rapidly. In August 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) detained more than 203,000 illegal immigrants from Mexico. In fiscal year 2022, more than 2.3 million refugees and immigrants were arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border. A record high of more than 430,000 immigrants were deported from the United States in 2013. The number still reached 360,000 in 2019.

More than 100,000 have been repatriated each year. In large-scale arrests, detentions, deportations and repatriation, the human rights of immigrants are grossly violated, and humanitarian disasters occur frequently. In September 2021, more than 15,000 refugees from Haiti gathered in the Texas border town of Del Rio, waiting for a slim chance to enter the United States. The refugees were brutalized by U.S. border enforcement agencies, with patrols on horseback wielding horse whips, charging into the crowd, and driving them into the river. The CNN commented that the scene was reminiscent of the dark periods in American history when slave patrols were used to control black slaves. On 25 October 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Council condemned the systematic and large-scale deportations by the United States of Haitian refugees and immigrants without assessing their individual situations as a violation of international law.

"After COVID-19 broke out, the U.S. government used COVID as an excuse for large-scale deportations of illegal immigrants. In 2020, the U.S. government invoked Title 42 of the United States Code to prohibit immigrants from entering under the pretext of stemming the spread of COVID. Scientists at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the practice lacks a public health rationale and could instead increase the likelihood of the epidemic spreading. Through this practice, the U.S. government has made over 1.8 million deportations, expelling at least 215,000 parents and children, of whom 16,000 are unaccompanied children. The immigrants who were not deported for the time being were sent to detention facilities and continued to be subjected to inhumane treatment.

"Political polarization in the United States is worsening its immigration problem. In recent decades, the immigration issue has become more entangled with economic, racial and ideological issues as well as cultural values. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party have kept attacking each other, and a compromise is hard to reach.

"Democrats accuse Republicans of embracing nativism and white supremacy and inciting xenophobia and racial discrimination to win votes from the white population. Republicans accuse Democrats of accepting immigrants to gain more votes from ethnic minorities and more seats in the Congress. The partisan divide has prevented any significant immigration reform bill from passing Congress since the comprehensive Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Both Democrats and Republicans had put forth their own immigration reform proposals, but they all hit a dead end very soon."

NIGERIANS SHOULD UNITE TO SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN FOR ONE HOUSE (UNICAMERAL) PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH POPULAR REFERENDUM!

Was it not high time that all Citizens of Nigeria should join ranks to build a New Nigeria of our dreams that will be economically viable not only as the Merchant/Economic Nation of Africa but of the entire world?
IF WE ARE REJECTED BY OTHER NATIONS WE CANNOT BE REJECTED IN OUR OWN ANCESTRAL HOMELAND! THIS IS THE APPOINTED TIME FOR NIGERIA TO BECOME GREAT AGAIN!

Vanguard gathered that over 10,000 people had been deported from the U.K. between January 2019 and May 2022.30 Jun 2022
According to United Nations numbers, there are just over 700,000 migrants in Libya at the moment, making up just over 10% of the country's total population.9 Jul 2023
So far this fiscal year (through March 2024), immigration judges have issued removal and voluntary departure orders in 35.1% of completed cases, totaling 140,644 deportation orders.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

Politics / Parliamentary System Will Stop The Massive Bloodshed. by z07ion: 9:55pm On Apr 20
PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WILL STOP THE MASSIVE BLOODSHED - CRUDE OIL FLOWS ACROSS NIGERIA!

In every annual budget since the discovery of crude oil in Nigeria in 1956, revenue from oil alone had always constituted not less than 85% of total overall appropriations!

The oil and gas sector plays a significant role in the economy, contributing about 65% of government revenue and 85%of total export.
The Federal Government had in the 2024 budget estimate projected N18.3 trillion revenue, expecting that N8.0 trillion or 43.9 percent would accrue from oil revenue.

However Niger militants and the entire indigenous people of the region had always claimed that without oil from their soil, Nigeria would not survive economically, when their political leaders were unfaithful in spite of the 13% derivation allocation to the oil-producing communities! The 13 % derivation fund comes from the federation revenue to oil-producing communities through the state governments as enshrined in section 162, sub-section 2 of the Nigerian constitution, but due to ripple effects of degradation of their soil through years of exploration/exploitation, they are now demanding for 30% of total oil and gas revenue for their region! In a Parliamentary System of government which citizens are demanding, the question or agitation for certain percentages from the Federal Government will no longer arise because grassroot constituencies would explore and utilize
such NATURAL ENDOWMENTS while agreeable percentages would be paid to the Central Government as at when due.

The Buhari APC Administration in November 2022 announced that over a billion barrels of oil was found in Northern Nigeria and that drilling had commenced.
The ex-president said the country also found 500 billion cubic feet of gas within the Kolmani area of Gombe and Bauchi, which had already attracted $3 billion investment when he flagged off the first crude oil drilling project in northern Nigeria, on the boundary of Bauchi and Gombe States on Tuesday 22nd November, 2022.

According to a Leadership Report, the NNPC had in October 2019 announced the discovery of hydrocarbon deposits in the Kolmani River II Well on the Upper Benue Trough, Gongola Basin, in the North-eastern part of the country. The commercial quantity discovery was the first in the region after several crude oil explorations in the Upper Benue Trough. The oilfield will be developed by Sterling Global Oil, New Nigeria Development Commission (NNDC) and NNPC Ltd.

The discovery of oil and gas in commercial quantities in the Gongola Basin, according to NNPC, will attract foreign investment, generate employment for people to earn income and increase government revenues. During the flag-off in Bauchi on Tuesday, Mr Buhari said the successful discovery of the Kolmani Oil and Gas field by NNPC and her partners has finally broken a decade’s long jinx.

“THIS IS INDEED SIGNIFICANT CONSIDERING THAT EFFORTS TO FIND COMMERCIAL OIL AND GAS OUTSIDE THE ESTABLISHED NIGER DELTA BASIN WERE ATTEMPTED FOR MANY YEARS WITHOUT THE DESIRED OUTCOMES,” MR BUHARI SAID.
“This discovery had emanated from our charge to the NNPC to re-strategize and expand its oil and gas exploration footprints to the frontier basins of Anambra, Dahomey, Sokoto, Benue trough, Chad and Bida Basins. Similar activities across the other basins are currently actively ongoing.”
“We are pleased with the current discovery of over 1 billion barrels of oil reserves and 500 billion cubic feet of gas within the Kolmani area and the huge potential for more deposits as we intensify exploration efforts. “As a fully integrated in-situ development project comprising upstream production, oil refining, power generation and fertilizer, the project promises many benefits for the nation. This includes but is not limited to Energy Security, Financial Security, Food security as well as overall socio-economic development for the country,” he said.

Mr Buhari noted that considering the landlocked location and the huge capital requirement, the economics of the project is a challenging proposition.
“Consequently, from the onset, I instructed NNPC Limited to utilize and leverage their vast asset portfolio across all corridors of its operations to de-risk the project to attract the much-needed investment. I have directed NNPC to continue along these lines.
“It is therefore to the credit of this administration that at a time when there is near zero appetite for investment in fossil energy, coupled with the location challenges, we are able to attract investment of over USD 3 billion to this project,” he said.

According to him, this will surely be a reference subject for favourable discussion in the industry as we pursue the energy transition program that will culminate in our country achieving Net-Zero position 1 by the year 2060. “I have engaged the Governors of Bauchi and Gombe States, and both have given me assurances of their unwavering commitment and willingness to ensure support and cooperation in these localities as this activity affects the local populations,” he said. He urged the NNPC Ltd, NNDC, and their Strategic partners to ensure all lessons learnt from our years of experience as an oil-producing nation are utilized to ensure harmonious relationships with the local communities.

AS THE OIL & GAS FLOW ACROSS NIGERIA THE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WOULD COMPLEMENTARY & COMPLETELY ELIMINATE THE AGGRESSIVE RIVALRY AND DICHOTOMY BETWEEN NORTH AND SOUTH!

URGENT NEED FOR A UNICAMERAL LEGISLATURE IS NOW!

A unicameral legislature refers to the type of legislature in which there is only one House or Chamber.
It provides for diligence, dedication and accountability through hard work because ALL HANDS MUST BE ON DECK 24/7!

Below are salient advantages of Unicameral Legislature FOR NIGERIA!

On appointed days of the week Legislators/Parliamentarians and the PRIME MINISTER would seat and work together as a Team in the One Chamber and address constitutional duties of government according to priorities.
Unicameral legislature is democratic in that it ensures grassroot free/fair elections through direct voting system by the people.

. It is cost-friendly, cost effective because aspirants would not have to campaign across the entire country but within their locality and constituencies.
. Successful Parliamentarians would appoint from among themselves the leader of the party with the majority votes as Prime Minister who becomes head of government.
. Government has two executive posts namely: The Real Executive and the Ceremonial Executive who is decorative Head of the State.
. Members of the Press are regularly briefed to inform the public through their Media Establishments by the Prime Minister as appropriate or any member delegated by him.
. There is no specific tenure of office for the Prime Minister as it obtained in the Presidential system. A Prime Minister remains in office for as long as he or she performs creditably.
It could be Four years, Six months or Three weeks! His/her tenure depends on STERLING & ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE BY HIS COLLEAGUES - unlike SEAT-TIGHT LEADERS in a Presidential System!

. The Executive Prime Minister who is a product of the Legislature is responsible to his colleagues (the parliamentarians), with whom he shares a collective responsibility of the whole Council because he and his ministers were elected from among other members of Parliament.
. A Prime Minister may resign from office at any time instead of being kicked out through a VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE by his colleagues!
.Bicameral legislature in Nigeria had always engendered rivalry in respect of superiority - upper or lower - not specifically highlighted in the 1999 Military Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
.A Unicameral legislature prevents such squabbles.
.Unicameral legislature provides room for a faster process of law making because CONCURRENCY would not be applicable in moments of emergency!

INTRACTABLE INSECURITIES OF BOKO HARAM TERRORIST, BANDITS, GUNMEN KIDNAPPERS, ASSASSINS, MURDERERS, ARMED FULANI HERDSMEN ETC. WOULD BE COMPLETELY ELIMINATED WHEN A ONE-HOUSE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IS ESTABLISHED IN NIGERIA!

.All able-bodied adults will be gainfully employed to earn living wages. People will dwell in harmony because all constituencies will be highly productive and competitive in industrial revolution in agriculture through information communication technology (ICT) and state of art equipments.
Agriculture will be the main stay of the economy that will even overshadow mineral resources/Oil and Gas. Every part of Nigeria will be developed to international standards.

The time to act is now! The present government of Bola Tinubu should realize that the Citizens have sovereignty over them who were selected/selected and appointed politicians!
Nigeria is adequately endowed roundabout and there should be no more negative indexes with which Nigeria have been labeled in the past!
It's time to act now in righteousness by discarding sinful attitudes of nepotism, cabalism, tribalism, feudalism, egotism, institutional corruption etc.!

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom!"

Politics / 300% Electricity Tariff Increase Will Eventually Be Paid By Nigerian Talakawas. by z07ion: 10:31pm On Apr 13
The Nigerian National Electricity Grid has collapsed forty six times between 2017 and 2024 in spite of the billions of billions of United States dollars expended on the inexpendable project!
On Thursday 4th April 2024 it collapsed for the second time in the year and plunged the entire nation into complete darkness while Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission had completed plans to increase ELECTRICITY TARIFF OF BAND [A] CONSUMERS - THE INDUSTRIES SECTOR BY OVER 300%!

Resilient Nigerians who have been used to paying for services never rendered by consecutive Regulation Authority took the ineptitude of an Oligarchy Government as usual in their stride and moved on! According to NERC, that industrial sector would consume 20 hours of daily and must therefore pay higher premium!

PREVIOUS ATTEMPTS TO INCREASE ELECTRICITY GENERATION IN NIGERIA HAD FAILED!

On 13 February 2019, during Buhari's second- term bid, Sahara Reporters, New York, published the following article which stated that "$16bn Obasanjo Spent On Power Project Will Be Probed, Says Buhari" Buhari said his government would do everything possible to recover the money and uncover those behind the scam.
President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his resolve to probe the $16billion spent on the failed power project by the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Buhari said his government would do everything possible to recover the money and uncover those behind the scam.
He stated this on Tuesday while speaking in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, during the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally.

Although he did not mention Obasanjo, Buhari said: “The previous government mentioned on their own that they spent $16billion on power, but you are better witnesses than myself; where is the power? Where is the money? We will follow them; eventually, God willing, we will catch them and get our money back.”

The Nigerian government was reported to have spent N16billion on power projects between 1999 and2007 when Obasanjo was in power."

END OF STORY! THEY HAVE ALL MOVED ON WITHOUT PROFFERING SOLUTION TO POWER OUTAGE IN NIGERIA!

How much does Nigeria need to get 24/7 electricity asks Opeoluwa Dapo-Thomas in a publication in Nairametics precisely one year ago!
As of December 2022, Nigeria has a generating capacity of 22,000 megawatts Nigeria as of 2020, has 54% electricity access
Despite the nature of the country’s electricity, Nigeria exports electricity to neighbors Niger, Benin, and Togo.

Over the years, one question that has yet to be answered despite promises made by successive governments is the possibility of the country having electricity for 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. According to reports, 8 out of 10 Nigerians lack access to 10 hours of power supply. This means that most households and businesses do not have access to electricity for up to 10 hours. This has made doing business in the country increasingly difficult as most companies incur additional costs to have access to electricity through generating plants. Also, the unavailability and high cost of diesel, and petrol have further compounded woes and increased prices of goods in the market.
Electricity generation, transmission, and distribution now on concurrent list, but…

In Nigeria, electricity generation, transmission and distribution are placed on the concurrent legislative list. This means that both the federal and state legislatures share power in this regard. However, there are some limits to the power which a state can exercise in some instances as electricity. In paragraph 13(b) of the concurrent legislative list, the national assembly is vested with the power to make laws as regards the generation and transmission of electricity to any part of the country.

In paragraph 14(b) the state is only vested with the power to generate, transmit and distribute electricity to areas not covered by the national grid within the state. This means that now the federal government was vested with the sole right to electricity in the country. However, in March 2022, the lawmakers at the National Assembly passed a bill to reform the 1999 constitution. The bill allows states to generate and transmit their own electricity (without fully relying only on the national grid). Despite having a generating capacity of 22,000 megawatts, the country’s power generation peaked at 4,594.6MW as of November 2022. The electricity generated is considerably low considering the country’s population of over 200 million people.

In July 2019, the FG signed a deal with Siemens AG to increase electricity generation to 25,000MW in six years. In phases, it’s expected to increase from its current capacity to 7,000MW by 2021, 11,000MW by 2023, and 25,000MW by 2025. Also, based on international standards of 1,000MW to one million people, the country is expected to at least generate 200,000MW to give the population better access to electricity.

In Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria are countries with the most access to electricity with 100 per cent access. In Egypt, the country overcame its electricity woes through investment. In 2015, it signed a $4.4b deal with Siemens AG which built three power stations with a combined output of 14,400 megawatts in two years. According to President El Sisi, $39 billion was spent between 2014-2019 to double electricity output to about 60,000MW in the country.

Nigeria needs to spend at least $100 billion for 100% access to electricity

24/7 electricity in Nigeria will no doubt come with a cost to Nigerians and consumers. In an earlier article, having electricity 24/7 is possible. One of the ways this can be done is through the clustering of electricity. This means neighborhoods/areas/places with almost similar consumption rates and under an agreement can negotiate a deal for their own power. The earlier report highlighted how it was possible to achieve this through a blend of 60% from grid supply and 40% from generators through an independent operator at an initial N95/kWh. The cost could rise as reported, based on some factors which are not limited to gadgets usage in a household, amount of electricity from the national grid, and cost of fuel. This could cost between N100, 000 to N400, 000 or more monthly.

This will also raise questions about the commitments and willingness of Nigerians to pay. The population in Egypt is around 109 million which could as well pass as half of the population of Nigeria. With Egypt’s expenditure that high within the timeframe, and considering the cost in recent times, Nigeria might spend $100 billion as the minimum within the same timeframe or more to provide constant electricity and increase access to almost 100 per cent.

In Nigeria, the main source of electricity is Thermal and Hydro. Nigeria can take a clue at Morocco in exploring other sources to provide electricity for its citizens. According to state-owned power utility ONEE, Morocco’s electricity production in 2021 came from coal (37.08 per cent), hydroelectricity (16.14 per cent), fuel oil (7.67 per cent), natural gas (17.72 per cent), wind (13.37 per cent), solar (7.58 per cent). Nigeria can explore this to shift towards renewable energy sources which will help provide more sustainable power. Electricity access to as high as 100 per cent in the country is possible but will come at a cost.

ALL OF THE ABOVE LOFTY SUGGESTIONS COULD HAVE PROFFERED THE RIGHT SOLUTIONS IF MR. PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU HAD NOT COMMITTED SOCIO-ECONOMIC SUICIDE ON 29TH MAY 2023!

Nigeria will now need not less than USD$400 billion dollars to produce 24/7 electricity for over 230million Nigerians! And where would a debt-ridden government that executes only annual recurrent expenditures of purchasing/ importing exotic luxurious vehicles and paying unfailing salaries/allowances to elected/appointed politicians find funds to fix electricity for the Sovereign Citizens of 1999 Military Constitution of the Federal Republic?

TAX THE RICH AND KILL THE POOR WITH HYPER INFLATION!

If NERC plan works out, more tariff would be collected from over TWENTY MILLION high-grade consumers across the 36 states of the federation and FCT Abuja. However, the affected industries would definitely pass cost of increase in production to the Poor whom NERC intended to succor due to another POLICY SOMERSAULT by the rudderless administration!
This government claims to have SUBSIDIZED ELECTRICITY LIKE PMS (PETROL)!

Every LIE has an EXPIRY DATE!

[EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!]

Politics / Nigerian Army Must Stop The Blood Shedding It Began In 1966 Now! by z07ion: 10:16pm On Apr 06
The Nigerian Army was an institution of honour and high repute until they dipped their hands IN CIVILIAN BLOOD IN 1966! Constitutionally the Nigerian army duties should be limited to defending The Nigerian Nation from external aggressions and when necessary to participate with great caution in Internal Security (IS Operations), as a defensive arm of government! However some adventurous soldiers mostly of the South East extraction on 15th January 1966 concocted some spurious allegations of tribalism, ethnicity but most importantly large scale institutional corruption against the politicians barely five years of freedom from colonialism into a constitutionally-elected parliamentary system of government and overthrew the legitimate institution!
No blood was shed during several years of negotiations between British Colonial masters and the founding fathers of Nigeria's independence and so it was very strange that guns were used to snuff out lives of Innocent Nigerians especially leaders of the Northern and South-Western parts of the country! It later became clear to all and sundry that the Igbo-dominated coup plotters had a hidden agenda to subject Citizens to military dictatorship! A reprisal against the coup in July of the same year eventually led to secession by the then Eastern Region from the rest of Nigeria and a continuous flow of Innocent Blood continued for the 30 months that a civil war lasted in the country! The 30 month Biafran or Nigerian Civil War began on 6th July 1967 and ended on 15th January 1970 under the commands of General Yakubu Gowon and late Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu with the unifying declaration of "NO VICTOR NO VANQUISHED slogan initiated by Rtd.General Gowon.

FIFTY-EIGHT YEARS OF CONTINUOUS BLOODSHED IN NIGERIA (1966-2024)!!!

From the first salvo of gun shot fired on 15th January 1966 by clandestine soldiers, tons and tons of blood of Innocent Nigerians have flowed ceaselessly to date! During the CIVIL WAR alone, government documented that not less than 1.5 million lives - civilians/soldiers perished! It is very safe to conclude that the military introduced bloodshed, sustained bloodshed AND IS STILL BENT ON PERPETRATING BLOODSHED IN NIGERIA!
Nigerians are industrious and peaceful people by nature in spite of the DIVERSITY that should normally be harnessed to build a very economically-viable country like the United States of America! Instead, suspicion and insincerity had existed in the political game of Nigeria since the unfortunate incident of 1966 because the dichotomy between North/South could not be breached because it got wider and wider by the day!

THE SOLDIERS HELD NIGERIANS TO RANSOM WITH THE GUNS FOR 30 YEARS!

Beginning with the 1996 Military Coup, the Nigerian army remained in power without anyone challenge them because they succeeded themselves with one coup after another! However they failed to realize that during their long tenure of changing batons through military high-handedness, all manner of aggrieved/disadvantaged groups began to amass illegal weapons which are now more sophisticated than what they could boast of! And they began to challenge the Army, the Police, Prisons (correctional facilities), and all security architectures in Nigeria! THE NIGERIAN DEFENSE ACADEMY, WAS NOT SPARED!
Right now violent attacks against all military installations across Nigeria has boxed Mr. 'Bola Tinubu's Federal Government into a very tight corner - when juxtaposed with the UNPARDONABLE POLICY SOMERSAULTS OF OUTRIGHT REMOVAL OF PETROLEUM SUBSIDY, FROM DAY OF INVESTITURE AS MR. PRESIDENT, MERGING OF OFFICIAL/PARALLEL FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATES, FLOATING OF A VERY WEAK AND DROWNING NIGERIA NAIRA CURRENCY; ETC. It is a shame that Nigeria which is regarded as the giant of Africa will now find itself in this kind of security quagmire!"BLOODY CIVILIANS" can now boast of more Guns than those of the security operatives put together!

From the Niger Delta (South-South), during the Olusegun Obasanjo into the Yar'adua/Goodluck Jonathan Administrations, to the North-East, dissident groups included religion and ethnicity into their grouse against the Ruling Class and let loose mayhem on innocent Citizens of Nigeria! Militants of the Niger Delta coupled with Boko Haram insurgents flourished from 2007- 2024 and the blood continues to flow! Now, the Boko Haram terrorists have metamorphosed into bandits, rapists, armed herdsmen harassing farmers all over the country by deploying cows as shields to penetrate all societies and there's virtually no community that has been spared from their menace!

ATTACKS ON SECURITY AND MILITARY INSTALLATIONS IN NIGERIA ARE NOT NEW!

Between 2010 and 2024 Nigeria had faced several attacks from Boko Haram and other insurgencies and several gallant soldiers/security operatives have lost their lives in the process! Righteousness exalts a nation, but SIN is a reproach to all people according to biblical tenet but the crop of Nigerian politicians from 1999-2024 care less because they were very determined to enrich themselves even MORE THAN THE SOLDIERS! It should be regarded as ABOMINATION FOR CIVILIANS TO ATTACK THE MILITARY AND KILL THEM IN COLD BLOOD but from the preceding narratives the CULPABLE PARTY IN THE VERY DISGRACEFUL ANALYSIS ARE THE MEN IN KHAKI!

1) The constitutional duty of soldiers is to protect Nigeria and Nigerians from external aggressions!
2) They should always remember that they constitute a Force guided by chains of commands from the top most hierarchy which must be carried out with utmost alacrity and dedicated commitment.
3) The military are a bunch of trained security operatives who have passed through various deliberate and well-calculated indoctrination and should not throw all of those intrinsic values into the winds because of illicit gains!
4) They should be ready at all times to always obey Rules of Engagement to avoid being blamed for collateral damages in situations when things went wrong.
5) Soldiers were not supposed to delve into civil politics/administration with the evil agenda of tribalism, nepotism, cabalism etc, by shedding INN0CENT CIVILIAN BLOOD!
6) BUT FOR THAT UNWARRANTED MILITARY INTERVENTION IN 1966, NIGERIA WOULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST PEACEFUL AND ECONOMICALLY-VIABLE NATION OF THE WORLD TODAY!
7) THE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT OF DR. NNAMDI AZIKIWE AS CEREMONIAL PRESIDENT AND ALHAJI TAFAWA BALEWA CAN BE DESCRIBED AS THE MOST PEACEFUL IN NIGERIA TO DATE.
cool Now that they have realized the enormous bloodshed they have caused in Nigeria since 1966-2025, they should be ready to make necessary RESTITUTIONS!
TO EVERY CHALLENGE THERE IS A SOLUTION!

The Solution rests squarely at the doorstep of the Nigerian Army and the Armed Forces including all Security Operatives put together to now join hands with THE ONGOING CAMPAIGN FOR A REFERENDUM THAT WOULD JETTISON THE VERY COSTLY AND CORRUPTION-INFESTED PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OF 24 YEARS AND REPLACE IT WITH A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM THAT IS COST -EFFECTIVE AND WILL ENABLE ALL NIGERIANS FROM THE GRASSROOTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A TOTALLY VIOLENT-FREE AND STABLE GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE - JUST AS IT OBTAINS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
THIS IS THE MAJOR TASK BEFORE THE MILITARY AND WE BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL JOIN HANDS WITH MILLIONS OF NIGERIANS TO ACTUALIZE TRUE DEMOCRACY AS WE MOVE INTO THE SECOND QUARTER OF THIS YEAR 2024! THIS TIME AROUND SOLDIERS WILL SHOUT WITH TOPMOST VOICES AND NOT THE BARRELS OF GUNS IN SUPPORT OF UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH POPULAR REFERENDUM! GOD SAVE NIGERIA AMEN!
[EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!]

Politics / Nigerian Army Of Occupation Must Stop Further Collateral Damages In The Creeks . by z07ion: 9:26pm On Mar 30
NIGERIAN ARMY OF OCCUPATION MUST STOP FURTHER COLLATERAL DAMAGES IN THE CREEKS NOW!

Once again, We offer our condolences to the entire Nigerian Army hierarchy and all the families of our gallant 17 slain soldiers whose souls are resting in Heaven with our Almighty Sovereign God and Creator.

The HOLY LAW OF GOD expressly forbids homicide in any form and stipulates that, "...he who kills by the sword shall perish by the sword."
In the past 10 days the Nigerian Media and social network have been awash with the very embarrassing and unpalatable news of the gruesome murder of these men in uniform whose lives were terminated while on a PEACE MISSION to resolve a land dispute between two communities in Delta State, South-south Nigeria.
It was also reported that their lifeless bodies were brutally mutilated and their weapons carted away!

According to one of the reports in the Premium Times, residents of the Okuama Community (one of the warring parties), has been fingered to have on 14th March 2024 ambushed and murdered the 17 military personnel including a commander (a lieutenant colonel), two majors, one captain and 13 soldiers!
The Nigerian army says the hoodlums who killed the military personnel in Delta State also carted away weapons belonging to the slain personnel.

During a condolence visit by the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), the General Officer Commanding 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, and Joint Task Force, South- South Operation in Delta State, Jamal Abdussalam, disclosed that the suspected residents ambushed and murdered the Commanding Officer of 181 Army Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain and 13 soldiers.

The troops were ambushed and killed while responding to a distress call during a clash between Okuama and Okoloba communities in the South-southern state.
The military, earlier said a total of 16 soldiers were killed but later posted the names and photos of 17 soldiers, including the commander (a lieutenant colonel), two majors, one captain and 13 soldiers.

The GOC, Major General Abdussalam, said troops will be “firm, strong, decisive and professional” in conducting operations to arrest the hoodlums and recover the weapons, adding that the Chief of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja, had issued directives to the troops carrying out the operation.
THE ARMY CHIEF FURTHER SAID THE TROOPS WOULD CONTINUE TO BE IN THE CREEKS UNTIL THE HOODLUMS WERE ARRESTED AND WEAPONS RECOVERED!!!

He reiterated that “propaganda, arm-twisting, blackmailing, intimidation, and false narratives” would not distract troops from staying on course to achieve their objectives and called on people of the Niger Delta Region to go about their normal activities.

The army chief appealed to people in the communities to assist the troops with information about the location of the fleeing criminals and the weapons that were carted away from by the hoodlums.

“If we allow criminals to continue to attack our security forces, there will be anarchy,” he said.
He stressed that troops would not rest until all the hoodlums involved in the murder of the military personnel were tracked down and reassured that the operation against the attackers was being conducted in such a way that, going forward, nobody would contemplate attacking military personnel in uniform.

VENGEANCE IS MINE I WILL REPAY SAYS THE LORD!
" Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." (Romans. 12:19).

It is not only the ARMY and immediate families of the departed combatants that grief, the entire Nation grieves and would wish that the SLAIN SOLDIERS COULD JUST RESURRECT!
From the statement of the GOC it can be deduced that the military would remain an ARMY OF OCCUPATION in the CORDONED AREA until they fished out the criminals involved in the dastard act.
* How long will it take the Commander-In- Chief of the Armed Forces Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) who had ordered thorough investigations to be carried out to call his SUBORDINATES TO ORDER?
We want to remind the Nigerian Army that they should still remember that Nigeria is operating a DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT - A CIVIL AUTHORITY THEY MUST BE SUBJECTED TO AT ALL TIMES!

*Up to the time of this publication Sunday 24th March, 2024, the cordoned area remained off limits to other members of the security architecture in Nigeria namely the The Nigerian Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), DSS etc, and even the Nigerian Press which is the Fourth Estate of the Realm!

WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN THAT REGION RIGHT NOW IS SHROUDED IN SECRECY!

Already various accusations have been leveled against the Nigeria Army that military atrocities were being perpetrated in the CORDONED AREA similar to the total massacre/destructions of Odi Village, Balyesa State in 1999, and Zaki Biam Village Benue State between 20th-24th October 2001, by Nigerian Army soldiers during the tenure of Ex-president Rtd. General Olusegun Obasanjo!
One fact should be made clear to the Nigerian Army hierarchy that they cannot be the ACCUSER, the INVESTIGATOR, the PROSECUTOR and the JUDGE IN THEIR OWN Case!

Already the accused Community has been razed down, innocent citizens especially the vulnerable, women, children, juveniles and even pregnant women have been murdered in Cold Blood according to media reports while the Army claimed not to be culpable!

* Total blackout of the Nigerian Army activities - successes or failures - in their quest to fish out the murderers from the Creeks may only be known to the C-IN-C who also believes that he was not subject to inform developments to CITIZENS who "voted" him to POWER!
For how long will the Nigerian Army remain AN ARMY OF OCCUPATION in that land because according to the GOC they would remain in the creeks until they fished out the murderers!
Are they sure that the heinous murderers were still in the Creeks and why has it taken so long for them to reach and arrest those criminals?

OUR SUMMATION:

"Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." (1Peter.3:9).

The Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces should make a CATEGORICAL STATEMENT TO PROVE THAT IS IN CHARGE OF THIS COUNTRY'S SECURITY ARCHITECTURE AND THAT THE ARMY HAS NOT TAKEN OVER FROM HIM!
He MUST Issue an order for INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATORS AND CRIMINOLOGISTS that are abound in the nation in conjunction with THE NIGERIAN PRESS TO UNRAVEL WHAT ACTUALLY TRANSPIRED IN OKUAMA AND OKOLOBA COMMUNITIES, DELTA STATE!

DELAY COULD BE DANGEROUS!

The Word of God says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs. 1:7).
THESE HURTING AND ANGRY SOLDIERS MUST BE PERSUADED TO CALM DOWN. DEATH IS AN ULTIMATE AND INEVITABLE PRICE EVERYONE MUST PAY!

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this THE JUDGMENT!" (Hebrews. 9:27).

MAY THE SOULS OF THIS GALLANT HEROES REST IN PERFECT PEACE WITH THE LORD! AMEN, AMEN.

Politics / House Of Reps. Kept Mum While Senators Dance Naked In Market Square! by z07ion: 2:47pm On Mar 23
ARE Nigerians surprised that the leadership of the House of Representatives in the bi-cameral legislative system kept quiet over the controversial allegations of 2024 BUDGET PADDING by Senator Abdul Ningi, Bauchi Central?
They are BIRDS OF A FEATHER! The 8th National Assembly was awash with the damning exposition of humongous budget padding by a ranking member and Chairman of House of Representatives Appropriation Committee who gave detailed information about how the illicit funds were shared! He was brazen to admit his own share of the bloody loot and gave detailed statements of the legislative cabal to the EFCC, POLICE ICPC etc, but till date, neither Hon. Abdulmumin Jibril Aminu nor his accomplices were invited for interrogation! They are all walking free!
Although he was suspended for ONE YEAR from all legislative duties, he sought redress at the courts, won all petitions but the entire case was swept under the carpet!

ABDUL NINGI WAS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPS. DURING THE EXPOSED 2016 BUDGET PADDING!

Now as "distinguished" Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, his patriotic/nationalistic instincts forced him to "BLOW THE WHISTLE" which has earned him a 90-day suspension from the legislative Chambers!

BELOW ARE SORDID EXPOSITIONS OF SENATOR NINGI ACCORDING TO PREMIUM TIMES: March 17, 2024

"The claim by a senator, Abdul Ningi, that over N53 billion worth of projects in the 2024 Appropriations Act are without a specific location, is true, a check by PREMIUM TIMES has revealed.
The suspended lawmaker, who represents Bauchi Central Senatorial District, recently accused the leadership of the Senate of fraudulently smuggling projects into the 2024 budget.
The lawmaker, who was suspended by the Senate on Tuesday over the claim, had disclosed that he got experts to review the budget and discovered some projects that do not have locations.
A review of the document obtained by this newspaper as well as a review of the proposed 2024 budget and the one eventually passed by the lawmakers, indicate that there is substantial merit in Mr Ningi’s claim.
According to Mr Ningi’s document, the consultants traced 36 projects that are worth N53 billion though the projects have no specific locations they are to be sited.

The 2024 Budget

On 29 November 2023, President Bola Tinubu presented the N27.5 trillion budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.
The budget has a recurrent expenditure profile of N9.92 trillion, a capital expenditure component of N8.7 trillion while N8.25 trillion was set aside for debt servicing.
Within 30 days, the lawmakers passed the budget, increasing it by N1.2 trillion and bringing the total figure to N28.7 trillion
Many observers believe that the lawmakers sacrificed diligence on the altar of speed.
It was not only the lawmakers who were in a hurry, President Tinubu also signed the bill into law within 48 hours after it was transmitted to him.
However, barely 60 days into the implementation of the budget, controversy arose.
PREMIUM TIMES reported the meeting between Mr Ningi, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and some principal officers of the Senate.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio

During the meeting, Mr Ningi, who at the time was the leader of the Northern Senators’ Forum, alleged that about N3.7 trillion worth of projects were smuggled into the budget.
Mr Ningi also had an interview with BBC Hausa, during which he was quoted as saying, “Apparently, we discovered N3 trillion was inserted into the budgets for projects without locations. This is the highest budget padding that happened in Nigerian history under Senator Akpabio’s watch.” The lawmaker later claimed that he was misquoted in the interview, insisting that he never mentioned “budget padding” or Mr Akpabio. He, however, refused to be pressured to recant his claims by his colleagues during Tuesday’s plenary session. He was subsequently suspended. In the course of the saga, two main issues have occupied centre stage – budget padding and constituency projects.

Sen Abdul Ningi -Tracking the 36 projects without location

In the document Mr Ningi has, for instance, N500 million was allocated for “Energy Poverty Intervention in Selected Rural Cooperators Settlements.” The project is under the Federal College of Land Resources Owerri, Imo State.
This line item has a very vague description with an equally vague location. “Selected rural cooperators settlement” was the only description for the location of the project.
Further checks revealed that this project was not in the budget proposal submitted by President Tinubu. Aside from this project flagged by Mr Ningi, this paper also flagged several other projects placed under the same college in Imo.
For instance, N500 million was allocated for the “construction of solar street lights in selected cooperators settlement”. Like other projects, it has no specific location and it was not contained in the proposed budget submitted by the president.

In total, 14 projects worth N2.4 billion were injected into the institution’s budget. These 14 projects were not in the proposed budget by the president.
A similar vague project was domiciled in the budget of the Agricultural Council of Nigeria. The N40 million project is tagged, “supply of farm inputs and farm implements in selected communities.” No specific location was put in place for the project.
When President Tinubu presented the budget, the agency had a N2.7 billion budgetary allocation. After the lawmakers’ controversial insertions, the agency’s budget was increased to N22.9 billion. Many of the projects are to be executed in different senatorial districts. However, some have very vague descriptions. For instance, N297.6 million (N297, 555,911) was repeated four times in the agency’s budget for projects without specific locations.
There is “Solar street light installations in selected federal constituencies in the six geopolitical zones”, and there is another: “entrepreneurship/empowerment of SMEs in some six geopolitical zones in the country.”

Another agency that Mr Ningi flagged is the Nigeria Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research. He highlighted N1.5 billion worth of projects that could not be tied to any specific location. A simple search revealed that Mr Ningi only scratched the surface. Over N54.2 billion worth of projects were dumped by the lawmakers in this agency. Many of them are vague.
In the budget of the National Centre for Agriculture Mechanisation, over N36 billion was inserted in the budget of the agency by the lawmakers. When President Tinubu presented the budget in November 2023, the agency had about N1.8 billion as total estimated expenditure. However, by the time the lawmakers dumped their projects in there, the allocation increased to N38.6 billion.

Duplicating same untraceable projects in two agencies.

Mr Ningi’s claim that projects worth about N2 billion in the budget of the National Horticulture Research Institute, Ibadan, cannot be traced to any specific location is also true. Four line items at the rate of N500 million each are in the budget without any specific location.
However, the problem is not just the lack of specific locations of the projects, there appears to be intent to commit fraud. These same projects in the National Horticulture Research Institute, Ibadan were also dumped in the budget of the Nigerian Institute of Oceanography and Marine Research. It has the same amounts and the same project titles.
These projects were not in the original budget submitted by the president. They were included by the lawmakers.

Most of the projects flagged by Mr Ningi checked out following an investigation by PREMIUM TIMES. However, the lawmaker only scratched the surface, as a deeper search showed that many more projects were dumped by the lawmakers.

Budget Padding vs Constituency Projects

The emergence of the phrase “budget padding” into Nigeria’s political lexicon could be traced to 2016, when Abdulmummin Jibrin, the then chairperson of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, accused the then Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, and some principal officers of the House of padding the budget of the House with projects. Amid that scandal, Mr Jibrin was suspended by the House.
However, controversies over the insertion of projects into the budget could be traced to the beginning of this Fourth Republic.
Lawmakers have always maintained that they reserve the power to insert projects into the proposed budgets.”

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA IS A FRAUD! THE POLITICIANS (EXCEPT FOR A SPINELESS MINORITY FEW) ARE FRAUDSTERS!
CITIZENS DO NOT NEED AN ANGEL OF THE LORD TO COMMAND THEM TO DEMAND FOR THE GRASSROOT UNICAMERAL (ONE HOUSE) COSTLESS SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT NOW!
JOIN THE MOVING CAMPAIGN TRAIN WHICH HAS GATHERED MOMENTUM ACROSS ALL POLITICAL DIVIDE NOW!

PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM FOR NIGERIA IS NOW - NOT 2031! AMEN, AMEN, AMEN.

Politics / Political Charlatans Are The Criminals In Nigeria! by z07ion: 11:27pm On Mar 16
Nigeria has been beguiled by a deficit of true political leadership because all those who had ascended to positions of power and authority succeeded not through relevant experiences or educational qualifications but by sheer guts of inordinate ambitions!

Political ascendancy at all levels from Independence to date had been a process of unclassified leadership struggle without articulate direction or road maps!
Genuinely-interested leaders have never made it to the presidency, governorship or local government positions at the grassroots because their primary motivation was for personal gains/aggrandizement which is at variance with the DOCTRINE OF MODERN POLITICS!

WHO ARE THE CHARLATANS?

They are the Hustlers, Leaches, Fraudulent, Fakes, Pretenders Tricksters, Sham, Ticks...etc.

Classification:
1) Raw village boys/girls who were restricted to the rural barbaric environment culture without any form of worldview.
2) Hustlers and adventurists who ventured out to seek better existence in nearby towns that hardly experienced any form of civilization: and devoid of socio-economic manifestation - like public water system, sewage facilities, health institutions except local clinics scarcely with drugs; without any planned or sustained primary/secondary education program!
3) Opportunists: Half-baked Village Primary/Secondary School Leavers – employed by the Local Government Area (LGA) authority and in spite of crude mentalities discovered that Nigerian Politics was" A MINEFIELD OF MASSIVE CORRUPTION to be harnessed!

At independence both Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, the First Prime Minister and Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe the ceremonial President were educated and could be classified as potential leaders but did they possess requisite knowledge of modern politics?
Following the 1966 military coup, a mixture of local and foreign-trained soldiers took over the mantle, accused the leadership of institutional corruption, tribalism, nepotism, flamboyant lifestyle etc, and brought the nation into political turmoil!

NB: Charlatans have over the years from post-military era to date have perfected their craftsmanship and outsmarted the thoroughly educated elite (who should have known better that politics in Nigeria would not have been discarded as A DIRTY GAME IF THEY HAD NOT ABSTAINED! The Charlatans now drive most expensive vehicles on the highway, state-of-the-art aircrafts and choppers, enjoy the luxury of the best Fire Star Hotels all over the world at the expense of the virtuous, faultless, impeccable, immaculate, highly-educated Nigerian elites WHO WOULD NOT TOUCH POLITICS WITH A LONG POLE!

POLITICS DOES NOT NEED BARREL OF GUNS TO THRIVE!

What is politics in simple words?
Politics is the way that people living in groups make decisions. Politics is about making agreements between people so that they can live together in groups such as tribes, cities, or countries. In large groups, such as countries, some people may spend a lot of their time making such agreements.
From the inception of the contraption called Nigeria, the meaning of politics was turned upside down.
Politics means opportunity to steal all available funds at all levels of governments among survival of the fittest and wait for "Heaven to fall"!

According to Section 13; 14(1-4):
Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

13. "It shall be the duty and responsibility of all organs of government, and of all authorities and persons, exercising legislative, executive or judicial powers, to conform to, observe and apply the provisions of this Chapter of this Constitution.
14. (1) The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a State based on the principles of democracy and social justice.
(2) It is hereby, accordingly, declared that:
(a) sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom government through this Constitution derives all its powers and authority;
(b) the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government: and
(c) the participation by the people in their government shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.

(3) The composition of the Government of the Federation or any of its agencies and the conduct of its affairs shall be carried out in such a manner as to reflect the federal character of Nigeria and the need to promote national unity, and also to command national loyalty, thereby ensuring that there shall be no predominance of persons from a few State or from a few ethnic or other sectional groups in that Government or in any of its agencies.
(4) The composition of the Government of a State, a local government council, or any of the agencies of such Government or council, and the conduct of the affairs of the Government or council or such agencies shall be carried out in such manner as to recognise the diversity of the people within its area of authority."

CROOKED NIGERIANS HAVE CELEBRATED CHARLATANS FROM OLUSEGUN OBASANJO TO AHMED BOLA TINUBU WHILE THE SOVEREIGN CITIZENS HAVE BEEN POLITICALLY SIDELINED!
We of this Editorial Board have categorically stated that presidential system of government in a development nation like Nigeria is ANATHEMA!
AND WE HAVE BEEN PROVED RIGHT BECAUSE Nigeria HAS BECOME A BANKRUPT NATION! Nigeria’s total public debt reached NGN87.91 trillion naira by the end of Quarter 3 of 2023 according to statistics from the Debt Management Office (DMO)!
The few Charlatans that enjoy the PERKS OF OFFICE have continued to lavish the scarce resources of the Nation by borrowing more to satiate their penchant for luxury in office; BUT MUST THEY GET AWAY WITH BLUE MURDER?

WAS IT NOT HIGH TIME FOR THE CITIZENS TO DEMAND FOR PAYMENT OF ALL LOANS (LOCAL& INTERNATIONAL), TO BE OFFSET THROUGH SALES OF LUXURY NATIONAL ASSETS BEING EXCLUSIVELY ENJOYED BY THESE CHARLATANS?

(1) THE PRESIDENTIAL FLEET MUST BE SOLD TO PAY OFF NIGERIA DEBTS!

Erstwhile President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari promised to cut wastages in government by selling off some of the official 10 Presidential Air Fleet but SPENT UP TO 41.9 BILLION NAIRA ON THE FLEET BEFORE HE DEPARTED OFFICE, (2015-2023), contrary to his 2015 presidential election campaigns promises to reduce waste in governance by downsizing the fleet. As of October 2016, when his government last made a public inventory of the PAF, the fleet included 10 aircraft, namely one Boeing Business Jet (or Air Force One) 737, one Gulfstream G550, one Gulfstream G500, one Hawker 4000, two Falcon 7X, two AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters, and two AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters which upkeep increased by 243% in six years!
After taking office on May 29, 2015, the 2016 Appropriation Act signed by Buhari allocated N3.652bn for the upkeep of the presidential fleet. In 2017, the cost of maintenance of the presidential aircraft rose to N4.37bn (19.6 per cent). The figure then skyrocketed to N7.260bn (98.7 per cent) in 2018. In 2019, the cost of maintaining the PAF again rose to N7.297bn (99.6 per cent). The allocation, however, fell to N6.793bn (86 per cent) in 2020. But in 2021, the budget for the presidential fleet saw its sharpest Buhari-era jump to N12.550bn (243.6 per cent). The combined estimated value of Nigeria’s PAF is $347.4m (N142.96bn) and funding increased to N81bn under Buhari!
(2) ALL ABANDONED FEDERAL AND STATES INSTITUTIONAL EDIFICES AND STRUCTURES IN THE COMMERCIAL CITY OF LAGOS SHOULD BE PUBLICLY AUCTIONED AND SOLD TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR!

(3) THE FOUR REFINERIES SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY REPAIRED, REFURBISHED AND SOLD TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR FOR OPTIMUM GAIN TO OFFSET THE NATIONAL DEBTS.

Mr. President Tinubu has the option to fly in his private jets like other billionaires in his government or go COMMERCIAL!

BOLA TINUBU PROMISED TO CONTINUE THE LEGACY OF HIS PREDECESSOR!

Tinubu cannot and must not continue to go down the PRECIPICE that will take the nation deeper into further debts through prodigal expenses! For the UMPTEENTH TIME, We advise that he should champion the POPULAR DEMAND FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH REFERENDUM AND SAVE HIMSELF FROM FURTHER EMBARRASSMENT AND DISGRACE OUT OF OFFICE!

A Word is sufficient for the wise!

[EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!]

Politics / Nigeria Must Join The Brics! by z07ion: 10:30pm On Mar 09
China remains the biggest International trade partner with Nigeria.
In 2018 there was a three-year bilateral trade agreement between Nigerian and China in respect of currency swap deal which allowed for both countries use their national currencies to purchase goods and services from their respective countries for economic gains.

In 2021 the three-year agreement was renewed for another 3 years which should terminate in 2024. But Nigeria has not taken the swap currency deal with much seriousness because virtually everything in respect of its economy has been dollarized!

As at March 2024, $1 US Dollar exchanged for NGN1, 600 naira which is a most outrageous exchange that has ever been experienced in Nigeria's economic transactions due to policy blunders by Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu who committed economic atrocities when he unilaterally remove fuel subsidy without placing any form of palliative in place!
He went further to merge official and bureau de change forex market figures and also floated the naira for its value to be decided by market forces.
And in spite of all the blunders he became so extravagant in government by appointing 48 ministers an uncountable advisors into an economy that is virtually comatose.

He imported not less than 1,000 exotic special utility vehicles (SUVs) at unit cost of NGN 160 million naira each for the legislators the executive, the Judiciary and Ministries, Department and Agencies.
As at the time of this publication Mr. Tinubu was in DOHA, QATAR ON A STATE VISIT with an entourage of about 36 people including his two sons!
According to media reports, he has set up an Economic Advisory Committee just to assuage public outcry against his policy somersaults.

BUT JUST LIKE HIS PREDECESSOR IN OFFICE, NIGERIA WOULD RATHER DANCE TO THE TUNE OF IMF AND WORLD BANK DOLLARS LOANS WITH EXCRUCIATING INTERESTS RATHER THAN TRADE IN LOCAL CURRENCIES THAT WOULD CATER FOR THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND WELFARE DIVIDENDS FOR ITS CITIZENS ACCORDING TO SECTION 16 OF THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!
Human rights lawyer and activist Femi Falana (SAN) has taken up The Gauntlet against Bola tinubu's administration and has asked why Nigeria would continue to trade in $US DOLLARS instead of taking advantage of joining BRICS other comprising of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa who all agreed to trade with their nations currencies for greater gains and to minimize extravagant costs of good and services to the economic advantage of their citizens!

The currency swap deal with China will terminate this 2024 and from all indications all trade transactions with China would exchange for the dollars as the naira has become a worthless paper at NGN1, 600 naira in exchange for $1US dollar.
Mr Femi Falana reiterated that the Nigeria's currency swap deal with China was still valid but he did not consider the fact that Nigeria's naira was actually worthless paper!

According to The Cable, published 28th August 2023, The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says its bilateral currency swap agreement with China was renewed after the expiration of the deal in 2021.
"The apex bank released the details of the 2018 currency swap agreement with Peoples Bank of China (PBoC) in a freedom of information (FOI) request sent by Femi Falana, a human rights lawyer.
BACKGROUND
"In May 2018, CBN and PBoC signed a currency swap deal valued at renminbi (RMB) 16 billion (about $2.5 billion).
"The swap deal was signed by Godwin Emefiele, the suspended CBN governor, and Yi Gang, the former PBoC governor.
"The deal was designed to provide the Chinese and Nigerian currencies directly to industrialists and other businesses from both countries.

“This agreement will provide naira liquidity to Chinese businesses and provide RMB liquidity to Nigerian businesses respectively, thereby improving the speed, convenience, and volume of transactions between the two countries,” CBN had said after the signing of the deal.
"In June 2023, Falana sent an FOI request to the CBN to disclose the details of the currency swap agreement.
CBN’S RESPONSE
"In a response to Falana’s request, the apex bank said the swap deal, which commenced in July 2018, is renewable every three years, adding that the agreement was renewed after it expired in April 2021.
"The CBN disclosed that the sum of 15 billion Chinese yuan renminbi (CNY) was the “amount usable within the year”.
"The financial regulator said since the renewal of the deal, nine billion yuan have been “drawn”, six billion yuan utilised, while the sum of three billion yuan is outstanding.
"According to the bank, out of the six billion yuan utilised, the sum of 5.10 billion yuan had been repaid, while 2.10 billion yuan had not been utilised.
“The swap commenced in July 2018, expired in April 2021, and was subsequently renewed. The sum of CNY 15.00 billion was the overdraft amount usable within the year,” the apex bank disclosed this in a response dated August 8, 2023.
“Since its renewal, CNY9.00 billion had been drawn, CNY6.00 billion utilized and CNY3.00 billion outstanding, and out of the CNY6.00 billion utilized, the sum of CNY5.10 billion had been repaid, while the sum of CNY2.10 billion had not been utilized, leaving the sum of CNY900.00 million yet to be repaid. Furthermore, the next renewal is expected to take place in 2024.”

FALANA ASKS NIGERIANS TO TRANSACT BUSINESS WITH CHINESE PEOPLE IN NAIRA

"Commenting on the development, Falana claimed that despite the currency swap agreement, the federal and state governments, and business community have been “prevented from transacting business in naira and yuan”.
“The swap was also designed to improve the speed, convenience, and volume of transactions between the two countries. But the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, which superintend the Central Bank of Nigeria, have colluded with the Central Bank of Nigeria to frustrate the currency swap.
“The purpose of the economic sabotage is to promote the dominance of the United States Dollar in Nigeria. Hence, the federal government, state governments, and the business community have been prevented from transacting business in Naira and Yuan. Thus, by compelling Nigerians to pay dollars for goods imported from China, the Central Bank has continued to promote the unwarranted dollarisation of the Nigerian economy.”
"The human rights lawyer asked Nigerians to use naira as payment for goods imported from China."

TINUBU MUST BE AFRAID OF HIS SHADOW!

The people of Nigeria are HUNGRY AND ANGRY! Tinubu MUST SHIP IN! There's no middle course for him now than actualize the unicameral parliamentary system of government!
A developing Nation like Nigeria CANNOT THRIVE in an expensive Presidential atmosphere!
In 2012 TINUBU protested with other activists when fuel subsidy was to be removed by the government GOODLUCK JONATHAN!

The option open to him to salvage whatever remained of his dented image is to champion and sponsor an executive bill for a REFERENDUM to establish a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT in Nigeria so that maybe posterity will reluctantly forgive him and is cabal for the grievous pains they have caused all citizens.
THE DAY OF DIVINE VISITATION IS CLOSER THAN MR TINUBU THINKS!
"He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding" (Proverbs 15:32.)

Religion / Exit Of Procter And Gamble (p&g) From Nigeria - An Act Of God! by z07ion: 9:34pm On Mar 02
PREAMBLE:

The Christian Community in Nigeria of the '90s became inundated with the news that products of a Foreign Manufacturing Company PROCTER AND GAMBLE (P&G), which majored in the sales and distribution of household/domestic needs - toiletries, sanitary pads for women and pampers as children protective underpants - were in actual fact a grand initiation to global Satanic Occultism! It was also massively publicised towards the approach into the new Century Year 2,000 that the company's International Chairman, a high-ranking member of “THE CHURCH OF SATAN” in the United States of America (USA), boasted that he would always make huge global profits without CHRISTIANS’ PATRONAGE! As a result, Nigerian Christians boycotted all P&G products nation-wide to date! Although the management of P&G had continuously denied the allegations, they need to answer the following questions in respect of their BUSINESS OPERATIONS OF THE PAST 30 YEARS BEFORE EXIT.

1. According to available facts, Nigerian P&G Staff (about 5,000), were hired on fulfilment of oath of secrecy and allegiance to comply with all instructions from their local bosses!
2. Staff (mostly women), worked under very tedious and harsh conditions with barely any financial benefits to show for their labour!
3. Large polythene bags were provided for them to carry on their shoulders like scavengers, children/ladies body pampers for "FREE DISTRIBUTION" at designated Hospitals and Primary Health Care Centres – though other products – tooth paste, soaps etc were marketed at exorbitant prices!
4. No provisions for official company transportation except for pro rata paltry allowances added to their monthly income which was less than approved workers national wage of their Host Country.
5. These Staff collect all confidential/personal data - from nursing mothers eg. names, ages, homes addresses/hometowns, nativity, workplaces, vocations/employments, home addresses, phone numbers, husbands names, employment etc, before collecting the UNDERWEAR ITEMS!
6. These data are religiously collected and forwarded to their HEADQUARTERS IN THE USA on monthly basis!
7. For what intentions and purposes were those data collected if not for diabolical uses?
8. Why has the Infant/Maternal mortality rate in Nigeria always been on the high side for decades while P&G held sway in Nigeria?

Please find below a 1985 article of denial of their Satanic Involvements:

PROCTER & GAMBLE FIGHTS SATAN STORY .
By Lisa Belkin, April 18, 1985. Credit...The New York Times Archives.

“LEAFLETS charging that the Procter & Gamble Company is an agent of Satan have recently surfaced throughout the New York metropolitan area and the company is starting a campaign to counteract the rumors. Among other things, the leaflets say that the company's logo represents the Devil and the company's profits are used to support the worship of Satan.
“Yesterday, Procter & Gamble held a news conference to deny the stories, which it said prompted 5,600 calls last month and 4,000 calls so far this month to its headquarters in Cincinnati. Sixty percent of those calls were from New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania, the company said. The company has established a toll- free number, 800-354-0508, to handle the calls. It has also hired two investigative agencies to trace the rumours and take legal action against the people who spread them. ''They simply are not true,'' W. Wallace Abbott, a senior vice president of Procter & Gamble, said of the stories. ''We haven't the vaguest idea how it started; all we know is people are believing it. Do you know how hard it is to fight a rumor?''
“This is not the first time Procter & Gamble has waged such a fight. The rumors linking the company with the Devil first began on the West Coast in 1982. Someone, Mr. Abbott said the company has no idea who, began sending mimeographed letters to thousands of California residents saying that the Procter & Gamble logo of the man in the moon and 13 stars was really a symbol of Devil worship.
In June and July 1982, the company received 15,000 calls and letters from people, many of whom had seen leaflets addressed to ''all Christians.'' Thank you for your patience while we verify access.”

THE FOLLOWING IS MEDIA REPORT BY BUSINESS DAY IN RESPECT OF P&G EXIT FROM NIGERIA: “P&G Nigeria Exit Ends 5000 Jobs!” December 7, 2023

The exit of Procter & Gamble (P&G), a multinational consumer goods company in Nigeria, could result in a loss of over 5,000 jobs and a major decline in foreign investments into Africa’s most populous nation. This comes after GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria, another multinational announced plans in August to exit the country after 51 years of operations.
“The impact of the market on the company’s overall net worth is due to two key factors – intensified competition within the industry and a declining consumer purchasing power,” Muda Yusuf, chief operating officer of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE), told Business Day on Wednesday. He added that the recent devaluation of the naira poses significant challenges for any business with substantial foreign exchange exposure, highlighting the current reality of the Nigerian market.
“Businesses with foreign exchange exposure are struggling.”
On Wednesday, P&G which has been operating in the country for more than 30 years, said it plans to transit the Nigerian operations to an import-only model, effectively dissolving its on-ground presence in the country based on unfavourable macroeconomic conditions.

“We’ve announced that we will turn Nigeria into an import-only market, effectively dissolving our footprint on the ground in Nigeria and reverting to an import-only model,” Andre Schulten, chief financial officer at P&G said. He added that the other reality that arises in some of these markets is that it gets increasingly difficult to operate and create U.S. dollar value. “So, when you think about places like Nigeria and Argentina, it is difficult for us to operate because of the macroeconomic environment.”

The firm, makers of Always, Ariel soap, and Oral B toothpaste has invested millions of dollars in the manufacturing sector. The biggest of such investment was the completion of the ultra-modern $300 million plant at Agbara, Ogun State in 2017. During the 2017 plant launch, it provided over 5,000 jobs directly and indirectly through its offices, suppliers and distributors and created over 200 SME jobs. However, one year later, it shut down the plant, citing restructuring of operations as its main reason. The plant was arguably the largest single investment by a non-oil firm in Nigeria and was expected to boost job creation and help improve the socio-economic state of its host community.
Schulten of P&G noted that Nigeria is a $50 million net sales business compared to its overall portfolio worth $85 billion, the company does not anticipate any material impact on the group’s balance sheet from a sales or profitability standpoint. “Approximately 14 years ago, or possibly earlier, the company had actively sought engagement with NNPC on Nigeria’s gas master plan during Jonathan and Deziani’s tenure as petroleum minister.”

The source added that P&G aimed to co-invest $2 billion with their raw material suppliers, gas converters. “The goal was to produce essential materials for their manufacturing plants, leading to the creation of numerous well-paying jobs. The plan envisioned exporting these raw materials to P&G plants in Africa and selected parts of the Middle East, however, it never saw daylight.”

P&G LIES HAVE EXPIRED AT LAST IN NIGERIA!

Why would a foreign company demand for women, children and family data in exchange for free underpants which are the closest to body parts and for what purposes were they forwarded to the headquarters in the United States if not for DIABOLICAL BLOOD RITUALS!

We thank God that Christians boycotted and prayed against the pseudo philanthropy of the foreign company until divine victory was achieved! THIS FOREIGN FOX IN SHEEP CLOTHING HAD BEEN RESPONSIBLE FOR ASTRONOMICAL INCREASE IN INFANT AND MATERNAL RATES ACROSS NIGERIA IN THREE DECADES! IT’S GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH!
Definitely, THIS IS AN ACT OF GOD! TO HIM BE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVER!

[EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!]

Politics / Nigerian Legislators Must Support Parliamentary System Of Government! by z07ion: 7:07pm On Feb 24
469 NIGERIAN LEGISLATORS MUST SUPPORT PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH REFERENDUM NOW!

The Nigerian Electorate can no longer be fooled with the worthless Nigerian Naira Currency with which the current politicians bribed their ways into various government positions at federal and sub- national levels during the 2023 General Elections which produced the most ridiculous set of opportunists the country has ever encountered!
Reason: President 'Bola Tinubu who bulldozed his way to Aso Rock with an humongous"yet-to-be-investigated-deep- pocket" has DOLLARISED THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY through gross incompetence in governance! In Nigeria, anti-corruption agencies DO NOT INVESTIGATE SOURCES OF CITIZENS SUDDEN WEALTH/OVERNIGHT RICHES! And now the Nigerian Currency had been devalued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank both combined to force more foreign debts on nation's ailing and grounded economy!

ONE US$1 EXCHANGES FOR NGN1, 700 NAIRA - THE WORST MONETARY TRANSACTION ON PLANET EARTH!
As at Wednesday 14th February 2024:

* One measure of Rice sold for NGN2, 400 naira from NGN800 in May 2023!
* Beans - NGN1, 400. from NGN300 in May 2023.
*Packaged Gari (10) NGN7, 000 naira from NGN 2,300 in May 2023!
*Public Transportation due to high cost of PMS (Petrol), at NGN750 per litre had been responsible food inflation apart from unceasing acts of terrorism in UNGOVERNED SPACES in the country!
* In spite of Federal Government's ineffective directive on ELECTRICITY TARIFFS, unmetered consumers now pay NGN40,000 naira from NGN10,000 in May 2023! The list is endless!
QUESTION: HOW MUCH FOOD WILL THEIR BRIBE MONIES PUT ON 220 MILLION NIGERIANS TABLES?
FOR THE CORRUPT LEGISLATORS TO SUGGEST 2031 AS TRANSITION YEAR TO UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IS GREAT INSULT TO THE CITIZENS WHO HAVE SUFFERED 63 YEARS OF HUMAN DEGRADATION FROM INHUMANE LEADERS!
THE CABLE on 14th February 2024, reported as follows:
60 REPS. SPONSOR BILL TO INTRODUCE PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM, TARGET 2031 FOR IMPLEMENTATION.
"A bill seeking to introduce the parliamentary system of government to the country has passed the first reading at the house of representatives. The bill, which is sponsored by 60 lawmakers, was introduced during the plenary on Thursday 15th February, 2024 Nigeria currently practices a presidential system of government which allows for a direct election of the president. Under the parliamentary system, the legislature appoints a prime minister, with a less defined separation of powers.
The lawmakers said they target 2031 as the year for the transition to the parliamentary system.
Briefing journalists after plenary, the lawmakers said the “imperfections” of the presidential system of government have “become glaring” to all.
Abdulsamad Dasuki, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member from Sokoto, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, said the presidential system has “denied the nation the opportunity” of attaining its full potential.
“Among these imperfections are the high cost of governance, leaving fewer resources for crucial areas like infrastructure, education, and healthcare, and consequently hindering the nation’s development progress, and the excessive powers vested in the members of the executive, who are appointees and not directly accountable to the people,” Dasuki said. The lawmakers said they expect the bill to ignite, and provoke a national conversation about the future of the Nigerian governance system.
“To ensure robust public debates, stakeholder consultations, expert analyses, and a thorough and informed decision-making process, raise awareness about this significant development and encourage constructive dialogue on the potential implications of these proposed constitutional alterations,” they said.
“Our conviction is that a streamlined executive branch, which replaces the president and vice president with a prime minister and cabinet chosen from the legislature could lead to a smaller central government, reducing salaries and administrative expenses.
“We also hold strongly that shifting the election of governors and local government chairmen from the general election to votes within their respective legislative bodies could save billions spent on state and nationwide campaigns.”
A SIMILAR BILL WAS SPONSORED IN 2018 BUT DID NOT SCALE THROUGH IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT PROCESS AT THE TIME.
IN THE INTERIM, TINUBU AND STATE GOVERNORS AGREE TO FLY ANOTHER KITE ON ESTABLISHMENT OF STATE POLICE?

According to Media report from CHANNELS TV there have been clamour for state police as Nigeria grapples with worsening security challenges such as kidnapping and banditry. Worried by the security challenges in the country, the Federal Government and state governors are considering the creation of state police.

This was part of deliberations between President Bola Tinubu and state governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday 15th February 2024.
While briefing journalists after the meeting, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, explained that the process is still in its infancy and would only take shape after more deliberations between stakeholders.
“Now, there is also a discussion around the issue of state police. The Federal Government and the state governments are mulling the possibility of setting up state police,” he said. “Of course, this is still going to be further discussed. A lot of work has to be done in that direction. Both the Federal Government and the state governments agree on the necessity of having state police. Now this is a significant shift. But as I said, more work needs to be done in that direction.
“A lot of meetings will have to happen between the Federal Government and the sub-nationals to see the modalities of achieving this. Now, these are some of the issues that have been discussed.”

Quest For State Police

There have been clamour for state police as Nigeria grapples with worsening security challenges such as kidnapping and banditry.
Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had on Monday restated their position on state policing, as the solution to the country’s worsening security situation, lamenting that Nigeria is “almost on the road to Venezuela”.
Also, regional socio-political groups such as Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Middle Belt Forum, and the Northern Elders’ Forum, have repeatedly called for state police as solution the myriad of increasing security challenges confronting the nation.
Already, states in the South-West geopolitical zone have formed the Amotekun while their counterparts in the South-East also created state-owned security outfit Ebube Agu. The Benue Guards has also been operational in Benue State in the North Central while states like Katsina, Zamfara and other bandit-prone sub-nationals have also come up with similar state-established outfits.
However, these outfits have not been effective as anticipated as they don’t have the backing of the Federal Government or the Presidency while states continue to demand that Amotekun, Ebube Agu and others are granted license to bear assault rifles like AK-47 to confront lethal gun-toting marauders.

2014 NATIONAL CONFERENCE RECOMMENDATIONS IN RETROSPECT?

President Bola Tinubu and his collaborators/cabal in government were alive in 2014 when the National Conference was convoked and it's recommendations applauded by all citizens for implementation.
Ten (10) years on they now want to deceive the citizens again by pretending to review just one aspect in respect of State Police for consideration.
Nigerians are no longer fools. According to their discussions which are at the infant stage, they hope to perpetrate themselves in office until 2031 when Bola Tinubu would have completed EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE? That Will Not Happen!
DID THEY FACTOR THE ALMIGHTY GOD INTO THIS EQUATION? NO!
"Thus saith Lord, you have sown the wind and will surely reap the whirlwind; your evil plan to further subject My Children to sufferings will boomerang against you!
MY WILL FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA IS NOW AND SACROSANCT!
Obey the Lord and live or disobey and perish! A word is sufficient for the Wise!

Politics / Nigerian Project Is Neither Football Gamble nor "Awalokan!" by z07ion: 9:43pm On Feb 17
On his departure to France for, "a private visit", on Wednesday 24th January 2024, a third set of about 100 innocent Nigerians were murdered in cold blood in Mangu, Plateau State but President Bola Tinubu, neither cancelled his trip nor consoled the victims' family like on earlier occasions!
Plateau alone accounted for not less than 500 deaths in an overall figure of over 2,423 deaths and ,1872 abductions in eight months of the President's tenure who returned after playing the fiddle for 13 days in a foreign country to solicit for citizens' patriotism through actualizing words of National Pledge from a very traumatised people!

In a Media report released on 8th February 2024, Sahara Reporters, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), said this would ensure “absolute respect for the national symbols, strengthen allegiance and fidelity to country, and to preserve Nigeria's ethos and defining character.”
“President Bola Tinubu has directed the mandatory recitation of the National Pledge after the National Anthem at every official and public engagement.”
The release said the President emphasised the imperativeness of respecting national values, promoting the nation's ideals, and abiding by its established norms.
"Before I left home this morning, I asked for a printout of the National Pledge, and we have to relaunch it again at this event. The relaunch is about being committed to the values, greatness, and hope of our country.

“It is our pledge to Nigeria, our country, to be faithful, loyal, and honest. To serve Nigeria with all your strength – we saw it on the field of play yesterday. We were all rejoicing. Everyone one of us loves victory. We love to win. When you are positive and you are hopeful, Nigeria is winning.
"We did not say it will be Eldorado and smooth all the way. But we are confident that this country will excel in all ramifications. We will defend our unity and uphold Nigeria's glory in every way possible because we are Nigerians, and we have no other country," President Tinubu was quoted, according to the release.

WILL COMPULSORY RECITATION OF NATIONAL PLEDGE/ ANTHEM SOLVE NIGERIA'S INSECURITY?

Should the President of the Association of Politically Corrupt (APC), and his heartless cabal continue to play on the collective intelligence of very sane, articulate, intelligent and cerebral Nigerians in this manner?
Tinubu and his cohorts are insensitive to the plight of Nigerians who are at the mercy of terrorists, kidnappers that have overwhelmed security architecture across the country including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), due to inadequate contingency plans and sophisticated fire power!
* Who should be more compliant to the ethics of National Pledge/Anthem if not the rogues and vultures in the Three Tiers and their surrogates in the Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs) including the various Government Parastatals (conduit pipes for siphoning the nation's reasources - both monetary and fiscal from the system!
* Are they faithful. Loyal and Honest?
Tinubu represents the iconic figure that dubious politicians would fall over to support in government.
* What is the meaning of Mandatory recitation of National Anthem/Pledge which could not provide daily bread on the CITIZENS TABLES?
* A piece of paper which Tinubu himself discarded on the unfortunate and unfaithful day of his inauguration 29th May 2023, when he unilaterally declared removal of THE CONTROVERSIAL FUEL SUBSIDY without a Cabinet to advise him?
* Is he loyal to the Citizens - due to his policy on the FOREX MERGER - which has DOLLARIZED the Economy and virtually reduced the Nigerian Naira to a very worthless currency?
* Has he loyally and publicly DECLARED HIS ASSETS/LIABILITIES?
* Has he ever been honest from 1999 when he returned from self-exile to take up political appointment as Governor of Lagos State?
* How did Tinubu amass his stupendous and humongous wealth in billions of Dollars?
* Who owns ALPHA BETA, an official tax collector agency for Lagos Government since his tenure ,1999-2007, to date?
* Was Tinubu honest when he travelled abroad severally for medical treatment which were dubbed as official or private visits?
* Is it a sin for Tinubu to be sick as a human being? Can lies keep him alive if it was time to go?
* Would he carry the presidency title to the grave having refused to hand over to his Vice as required by the military constitution?
* How could he quickly forget the Doctrine of Necessity which was invoked when UMARU MUSA YAR'ARDUA of blessed memory passed on suddenly?
* "Cowards die many times before their death. The valiant never tastes of death but once..….!" (Courtesy William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar"wink. In spite of his dubious antecedents in academic qualifications and alleged involvement in drugs trafficking in and out of government, they have all clung to his unpopular/unacceptable administration like sugar ants and chanting that on "His Mandate They Would Stand", in order to perpetrate, "Treasury Looting"!

NIGERIA IS NOT FOR SALE TO UNDERTAKERS!

A Coalition of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the auspices of the Civil Society Joint Action Group has stated that at least 2,423 people have been killed, while 1,872 were abducted within eight months of the President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
According to Sahara Reporters:
"The Executive Director of the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC), Auwal Musa Rafsanjani revealed this while addressing a press conference on Monday 29th January 2024 in Abuja on behalf of the coalition, urging the President to declare a state of emergency on the current security situation in the country.
He added that there should be a timeline that the president would give to the security agencies to tackle insecurity, necessitating their call for a declaration of a state of emergency on kidnapping and other forms of terrorism.
He said, “Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria under the auspices of the Civil Society Joint Action Group, Community of Practice Against Mass Atrocities, and Nigeria Mourns, are deeply concerned by the deteriorating state of security across Nigeria and its Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and therefore call on the Nigerian government to take actionable steps to end the endemic insecurity, mitigate further attacks by kidnap syndicates and terrorist groups, and, account for persons missing in these attacks.

“Mass atrocities fatality tracking across the country by Nigeria Mourns reveals that in President Buhari’s second term alone (2019 to 2023), after Buhari as a former military general, gained public trust to run as president by promising to curb the then fledgling insecurity, at least 24,816 Nigerians lost their lives, and at least 15,597 persons were abducted.
“This alarming trend has continued despite President Tinubu’s assurance at the beginning of his presidency in May 2023 to tackle insecurity. It has now been eight months since President Tinubu took his oath of office and yet, things have failed to improve. Our tracking shows at least 2,423 people have been killed in mass atrocities-related incidents and at least 1,872 persons were abducted since the beginning of President Tinubu’s administration till January 26, 2024.
“We are particularly concerned about the upsurge in abductions, noting that at least 230 incidents, in most of which multiple victims were involved, occurred within the first two weeks of January 2024 alone.”
Rafsanjani said over the past decade and a half, insecurity in Nigeria has spiralled due to a variety of violent phenomena, including but not limited to terrorist activities in the entire northern region, terror pillages otherwise known as banditry in the north-west, farmer-herder violence in the Middle Belt, including the Benue Valley, secessionist struggles in the south-east, piracy in the country's southern coast, inter-communal attacks, political violence, cult-gang
He stated that these forms of insecurity had jeopardised Nigerians' security and well-being and had worsened over time.

The coalition also called on President Tinubu to take urgent measures to address Nigeria's insecurity, including a state of emergency on kidnapping and terrorism. They also urge the government to fulfill its constitutional obligation to ensure the security and welfare of all citizens, as mandated in the Constitution.
They also challenged state governors in the North Central states, including Kaduna “to consider creating a unifying security structure within the confines of the law, just like their counterparts in the Southwest who established Amotekun to fight crimes and criminality in their region.”
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated by Boko Haram militants on the Pulka-Firgi Road in Gwoza local government area of Borno State murdered seven farmers in a commercial vehicle, prompting the outcry."

TINUBU AND HIS CABAL SHOULD REPENT QUICKLY BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! THEY SHOULD DECLARE THEIR ASSETS, RETURN ALL LOOTED FUNDS TO OFFSET NIGERIA'S AVALANCHE OF WORLD-WIDE DEBTS AND DECLARE A REFERENDUM FOR UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY!

Politics / New Efcc Chairman Must Not Crash Like His Predecessors! by z07ion: 7:58pm On Feb 10
In a Three-point Agenda, the new Economic Financial and Crimes Commission (EFCC), Chairman Ola Olukoyede promised to engender the need for collective responsibility and commitment to solving financial crimes with the Citizens.

He would emphasize prevention of crimes by blocking leakages through Transactional Credit System rather than very costly enforcement options!
*And collaborate with the Third tier to ensure that adjudication of the Criminal Justice System worked seamlessly. During his confirmation screening by the Nigerian Senate on 19th October 2023, on 19th he disclosed that Section 6 of the EFCC Act emphasizes diligent focus on all issues relating to fraud management regulatory compliance: which should act as a driving force to economic development, create environment for transparency and accountability in all government activities and build international image for foreign direct investments. With not less than 10 year-working experience in the EFCC, WE believe that he would prove his mettle in probity, commitment, dedication and diligence. However WE must warn him against MEDIA TRIALS which was the modus operandi of his successors who all failed woefully!

Find below records of his achievements immediately he swung into action with his dedicated team sleuth hounds!

EFCC RECOVERS N30BN FROM HUMANITARIAN MINISTRY'S LOOTED FUNDS.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered over N30bn from the N37,170, 855,753.44 allegedly laundered in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs under the former minister, Sadiya Umar-Farouk. Sources in the anti-graft agency, who spoke with our correspondent on Friday, said the commission had also uncovered over N500m from the scam associated with Umar-Farouk’s successor, Betta Edu, who was recently suspended by President Bola Tinubu.
Saturday PUNCH had in December reported that N37, 170,855,753.44 was transferred from government coffers and sent to 38 different bank accounts domiciled in five legacy commercial banks belonging to or connected with a contractor, James Okwete. It was gathered on Friday that N30bn was recovered by the EFCC following the placement of a lien on the bank accounts of Umar-Farouq and Okwete, who are still being grilled by the anti-graft agency’s investigators.

The Agency is still grilling Edu in connection with an alleged N17bn fraud, while the suspended Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programme, Halima Shehu, is also still being questioned over an alleged N44bn fraud.

An EFCC source revealed, “The commission has now recovered over N30bn from the laundered N37.1bn that was linked to former minister Sadiya Umar-Farouq. We were able to recover the money after we placed liens on the bank accounts of the former minister and the contractor, Mr Okwete, who was linked to the fraud under probe. Both the minister and the contractor are still being grilled by our investigators daily.”

A senior EFCC investigator added, “We have uncovered another N17bn money laundering from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, and for the alleged fraud linked to the suspended minister, Betta Edu, we have so far recovered over N500m. Edu is still answering questions about the fraud. “The NSIPA coordinator, Halima Shehu, is still being grilled over the N44bn fraud linked to her at the NSIPA; our investigators aren’t leaving any stone unturned.”
When contacted for comments on the development, the spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale declined comments.

HISTORY OF EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, was established by an Act of the National Assembly on 12th December, 2002 by the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo. Following the appointment and confirmation by the Senate, of the pioneer Executive Chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and other administrative officers, the operational activities of the Commission commenced on April 13, 2003.
The establishment of the Commission was partly in response to pressure from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on Money Laundering, also known by its French name, Grouped'actionfinancière (GAFI).

GAFI is an intergovernmental organisation founded in 1989 on the initiative of the G7 (Group of Seven), an inter-governmental political forum consisting of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America to develop policies to combat money laundering.

FATF had ranked Nigeria as one of the 23 countries that were non-cooperative in the combined efforts to fight money laundering globally. Due to identified inadequacies in the 2002 Establishment Act, the national Assembly repealed it and re-enacted the 2004 Establishment Act was signed into law on 4th June 2004 by President Obasanjo.

Mallam Ribadu, the pioneer chairman of the EFCC, was handed the monumental task to midwife the agency. Within a few months of its emergence on the scene, the Commission had forced itself into public consciousness having taken out of circulation all the 419 kingpins (419 in Nigerian parlance, means offenders whose crimes are contrary to Section 419 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).

These where people hitherto considered untouchable. The Fred Ajuduas, the Emmanuel Nwudes, the Maurice Ibekwes, the Ade Bendels, the AmakaAnajembas and the NzeribeOkolis among many others were all arrested and prosecuted.

During his term, outside of the headquarters located in Abuja, the Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano and Gombe Commands were established each representing the geo-political zones of the country, for ease of operation. In December 2007, Ibrahim Lamorde, DIG, Retd took over the affairs of the Commission in acting capacity and in January 2008 Mrs. Farida Waziri, AIG Retd, was appointed by President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as the Chairperson of the Commission. Lamorde handed over to Waziri on June 6, 2008 following her clearance and confirmation by the Senate in June 2008.

Following his appointment by President Goodluck Jonathan, Lamorde took over from Mrs. Waziri on November 23, 2011 in acting capacity. He was confirmed as substantive Chairman of the EFCC on February 15, 2012. On November 9, 2015, President Muhammadu Buhari replaced Lamorde with Ibrahim Magu as the acting EFCC chairman. In about five years at the helms of affairs, Magu established seven Commands and reopened the Maiduguri office earlier opened by Mrs. Farida but closed due to the activities of Boko Haram in the North East. The seven Commands were: Ibadan, Kaduna, Benin, Makurdi, Sokoto, Ilorin and Uyo. Mohammed Umar Abba, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), on July 9, 2020 took over the affairs of the Commission on interim basis. Seven months after, on February 24, 2021, the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria confirmed Abdulrasheed Bawa, CFE, CAMS, whose name was submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari as the substantive Executive Chairman of the Commission. Bawa took over from Umar Abba on 5th March, 2021.

“Following Wednesday, June 14, 2023, suspension of Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa, as Executive Chairman by the Federal Government, Mr. Abdulkarim Chukkol stepped in as Acting Chairman of the Commission. Until this new role, Chukkol was the Director of Operations of the Commission.” The new Chairman who doubles as a PASTOR should be guided by the Scripture, ‘’……Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the LORD of Host’’ (Zech 4:6b).

Politics / Atiku's "Much Ado About Nothing - Or Something Stinking?" by z07ion: 7:11pm On Feb 03
Birds of a feather are better qualified to exposed the rot of corruption in the system especially when frustrated and completely shut out!
Former Vice President of Nigeria (1999-2007), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is lamenting bitterly in respect of USD$3.3bn "Crude for Cash Loan Deal" brokered between NNPCL and Afriexim Bank since August 2023! In a very detailed query made public on his verified X handle (formerly Twitter), on Thursday 25th January 2024, the 77-year-old politician who finally lost his appeal against 'Bola Tinubu's choice as Nigeria's 16th President at the Supreme Court, declared that the entire deal was suspect and a humongous fraud!

Below are some excerpts from Atiku's lamentation as published on the SOCIAL MEDIA, LEADERSHIP AND THE CABLE:

NNPCL Deal: Repaying $3.3bn Loan With $12bn Crude Oil By Tinubu Gov’t Puzzling — Atiku
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has described as ‘confounding’ a $3.3 billion emergency crude repayment loan secured by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and facilitated by African Export-Import Bank (Afrieximbank) in 2022.

LEADERSHIP reports that the landmark loan deal was sealed in the wake of the free fall of the local currency (Naira) against the United States Dollar and according to the NNPCL at the time, it was to help give support to the Naira and stabilise the Foreign Exchange market. Atiku claimed that the $3.3billion loan, with an interest rate of not more than 12%, will be repaid with the nation’s crude oil worth $12billion, hence the President Bola Tinubu administration owes Nigerians an explanation.

He also queried why the Federal Government would register a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the deal in the Bahamas, a country notorious for being a safe haven for illicit funds.
Atiku, therefore, demanded answers to the five posers on behalf of ordinary Nigerians.
The former VP wrote: “In what appears to be a landmark economic decision of the Bola Tinubu-led administration, the Federal Government last year, precisely on August 16, 2023 through the Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) secured a $3.3 billion emergency crude repayment loan, which according to the NNPC, was to help give support to the Naira and stabilize the Foreign Exchange market.

“The curious thing about this transaction is that up till now, the Federal Government continues to keep mum about it, and the only information available to the public on the mega deal is coming only through unofficial sources from the NNPC.
“According to information available, a Special Purpose Vehicle called Project Gazelle Funding Limited is driving the deal, and it was incorporated in the Bahamas.
“The SPV is the borrower while the NNPC is the sponsor, with an agreement to pay with crude oil to the SPV in order to liquidate the loan at an interest rate that is a little over 12 per cent.
“What is even more confounding about this deal is why the Federal Government would register a company in the Bahamas, knowing full well the recent scandal of the Paradise Papers that involved that country.
“Curiously also, Nigeria’s current Barrels Produced Daily (BPD) is 1.38 million, and according to the Project Gazelle deal, Nigeria is to supply 90,000 Barrels of its daily production, starting from 2024 till it is up to 164.25 million barrels for the repayment of the loan.
“Now, this is where the details get disturbing because Nigeria’s benchmark for the sale of crude per barrel in 2024 is $77.96. A simple multiplication of that figure by 164.25 will give us a whooping $12bn.
“It is on this note that we are calling on the Federal Government to speak up on this shady deal.

1) “Has the Federal Government accessed the loan?
2) “ Is the loan in the government’s borrowing plan as approved by the National Assembly?
3) “ Who are the parties to the loan, and what specific roles are they expected to play?
4) “ What are the conditions to the loan, including tenor, repayment terms, the collateral, and the interest rate?
5) “ And, lastly, why register an SPV in the Bahamas knowing the recent scandal of the country’s notoriety for warehousing unclean assets?”

AND PRONTO, ATIKU'S LAMENTATION WAS DISMISSED WITH A WAVE OF THE HAND BY THE RULING PARTY'S ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC), WHICH IS CURRENTLY IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT OF THE CORRUPTION SAGA!

You’re late to the party’ — Tinubu’s aide replies Atiku on $3.3bn NNPC loan.
Olusegun Dada, special assistant to President Bola Tinubu on social media, says Atiku Abubakar, a former vice-president, “fumbled the numbers” on the $3.3 billion emergency loan deal. On Thursday, Abubakar, who was the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asked the federal government to shed more light on the transaction.
Although the NNPC had published details of the loan in a recent document, titled, ‘Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Project Gazelle’, the politician questioned why Project Gazelle Funding Limited — a special purpose vehicle (SPV) driving the deal — was incorporated in the Bahamas, a region he described as “a haven for financial secrecy”.

Responding in a post on X, Dada said Abubakar is “late to the party, as usual”, stating that the presidency had explained the deal to Nigerians.
“Project Gazzelle is such a straightforward deal that I do not expect Alhaji Atiku, who prides his whole political aspirations on being an economic reformer, to fumble the simple numbers behind it,” Dada posted.
“For record purposes and to save Alhaji from his self-imposed mystery, here are some explanations to his questions about the conditionalities of the loan in a simpler language.
“The facility is a forward sales agreement between NNPC limited and an SPV (the buyer) where a predetermined number of barrels of oil is sold in advance at an agreed price.
“The sales allow the seller (NNPCLtd in this case) to use the received payment to solve critical and urgent problems with forex scarcity as the problem in Nigeria’s case.
“A lower benchmark is usually adopted as a safe haven for the buyer (the SPV) as oil price tends to remain unstable most times.
“For repayment, an eventual increase in oil prices will result in the SPV returning all excesses to the seller (NNPC Ltd) while the risk which could lead to a rearrangement of the terms is a significant decrease in the agreed price (this case $65 per barrel).
“Oil has been averaging $70-75 per barrel since the deal was agreed, and if things stay the same way, Nigeria will be getting refunds of excess amounts from the SPV once the payment is concluded.”
Dada said there is a big chance that the repayment will be concluded before the agreed time if oil prices continue to increase “as NNPCL had penned a 90,000 barrel per day which will eventually be calculated at the current prices”.

According to the presidential aide, repayment stops when “the agreed amount plus interest is fully paid and Nigeria may be liable to refunds were there to be excesses.”
Dada expressed hope that Abubakar “will allow the financial expert in charge of the country to continue devising innovative ways of funding our expenditures”.

THE MAN ATIKU ABUBAKAR AND HIS CULPABLE PARTY!

And whereas his Party the People's Democratic Party (PDP), could not function as credible opposition since 2015-2023 because it lacked credibility!
During its inglorious tenure of 16 years, 1999-2025, Nigeria was adjudged virtually year-on-year, through international socio-economic perception indexes as the most-corrupt/bankrupt, poverty-striken/capital, criminally-infested etc, etc, in the world!

IS THIS NOT A CLEAR SCENARIO OF DIGNITY AMONG THIEVES WHO ALL STINK?

THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS is poised to be in government for 16 years just as the PDP. But the past 8 years and 7 months of the APC have been the continuation of UNABATED ROBBERY OF THE CITIZENS' COMMONWEALTH AND THIS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE .
IT IS THEREFORE INCUMBENT ON THEM TO WHOM THE SOVEREIGNTY BELONGS TO DEMAND FOR A POPULAR REFERENDUM AND END THIS MADNESS ONCE AND FOR ALL THROUGH INTRODUCTION OF A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY!
"When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice. But when the wicked beareth rule the people mourn.(Proverbs 29:2)."

Politics / Nigeria Security Forces Should Not Exhibit Weaponry To Terrorists! by z07ion: 2:29pm On Jan 27
It has become an acceptable norm/ practice among security forces in Nigeria to always parade men, officers and weaponry in a "show of force" with a view to convince citizens that they could always protect them in times of insecurity, civil unrest or crisis! Much publicity was given by the armed forces to the purchase of 12 Tucano Jets from the United States with USD$500 million dollars envisaged to combat Boko Haram terrorism, and banditry between 2021- 2023, but how many of the jets are left in the hangar now?

Rag-tag bandits have consistently claimed that they have been largely responsible for the crashes of 18 Nigerian Air Force aircrafts in Eight Years between 2016-2023!
According to Dataphyte, Nigeria lost NAF aircrafts worth USD$135.13 million dollars to crashes in six years!

DISCLOSURE OF SECURITY INFORMATION TO FIFTH COLUMNISTS IS THE CAUSE OF NATIONAL ECONOMIC FAILURES AND ABJECT POVERTY IN NIGERIA!

No country in the world can ever survive in socio-economic activities while insecurity thrives unabated! In a 21st century world where technology is deployed to eliminate terrorists or fifth columnists and counter both internal/external aggressions, the Nigerian uniformed personnel would match with full complement of their arsenal on the highways while bandits perpetrate havocs in the hinterlands!

Since the year 2009 Nigeria had been engaged in an unconventional war with the Islamic group Boko Haram which consecutive administrations dismissed as rag-tag army!
These groups have now metamorphosed into horrible monsters that are now recognized and classified as bandits, terrorists, kidnappers, gunmen, assassins - who "rightfully domicile un-governed spaces/areas which the "MANCHO" Nigerian Security Forces could not penetrate!

National Security Advisers/Security Chiefs in the past 14 years should all cover their faces in shame because they have no inclination of the terrible damage inflicted on the psyche of innocent Nigerians through their cluelessness in respect of security matters.

Farmers who could not pay taxes to the bandits did not live to tell their stories - they were all slaughtered like animals! Among the so-termed rag-tag insurgent groups are retired/dismissed angry security personnel who have joined to exploit the situation and get their pound-of-flesh!

ATTACK ON THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY (FCT) SHOULD NOT BE TREATED WITH KID GLOVES LIKE OTHER TIMES!

In the year 2011 when the then Inspector General of Police Hafiz Ringim assumed office, he flippantly "off the cuff" said:" The days of Boko Haram are numbered. We will flush them out in no time", his entourage was breached, infiltrated by suicide bombers who attacked the LOUIS EDET'S FORCE HQ. ABUJA and almost succeeded in bringing down the entire edifice!

In 2014, the FCT was virtually under seige!
Several Churches were bombed in the satellite settlements with the worst hit, the densely populated NYANYAN MARKET which was bombed twice within 14 days!
The UNITED NATIONS BUILDING in Abuja was also bombed in that year, courtesy of retired/sacked/dismissed security personnel who master-minded those horrendous operations which took, hundreds of innocent lives into untimely graves!

NEW INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE COULD HAVE KEPT HIS SECURITY STRATEGIES TO HIS CHEST!

REPORT FROM THE NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA (NAN), IS REPRODUCED BELOW:
Insecurity: IGP inaugurates Special Intervention Squad in FCT.
The IGP said the decision to set up the squad is to ensure that every corner of the FCT remains a haven for its inhabitants.

ByAgency Report: January 17, 2024

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, on Wednesday, inaugurated a Special Intervention Squad (SIS) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to address the increasing rate of crime in the territory.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Abuja, Mr Egbetokun said the squad was made up of trained, well-equipped and highly mobile police officers.
According to him, the squad possesses the capacity for rapid intervention and effective containment of significant security breaches like those currently threatening the suburb of the FCT.

He said the alarming rise in criminal activities, without equivocation, demanded immediate and resolute action from all.

“This initiative is not just born out of necessity, but out of foresight, diligent planning and commitment to enhancing the already robust security architecture of the FCT.
“The FCT remains a bastion of safety and an example of efficient urban security management and in our pursuit of excellence, we must proactively address even the slightest signs of potential threats.
“We are thus duty-bound to confront all challenges head-on to protect the lives and welfare of our citizens,” the IGP said.

He said the squad was envisioned to include a thousand personnel in each state with officers and men from each tactical unit of the force.
He said the squad would be supplemented by a formidable arsenal of operational assets, including sophisticated arms, drones, and vehicles.
“These assets, some of which are displayed here, are ready for deployment to counteract the security threats.
“This deployment symbolises our unwavering commitment to the safety and security of our people, sending a clear message that criminal elements will find no sanctuary within the FCT, and by extension, Nigeria.
“I wish to reiterate here that this operation is more than a mere response; it is a bold strategy aimed at dismantling the criminal networks entrenched in our communities,” he said.

He said the squad would also engage in community-oriented policing, a testament to the Nigeria Police philosophy that public safety is a collaborative endeavour.
Mr Egbetokun said working hand-in-hand with community leaders, residents and all stakeholders would fortify the already strong bonds between the Police Force and the communities. He said the idea was to ensure that every corner of the FCT remained a haven for its inhabitants.
(NAN).

IS NIGERIA'S SECURITY ARCHITECTURE OVER-STRETCHED?

We have mentioned above that we are in the age of modern information communication technology which can be easily deployed to fighting crimes and criminalities in all countries of the world and Nigeria is not an exception. But Nigeria has adopted the wrong system of government which is too expensive for developing nation.

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT MUST BE JETTISONED TO MAKE WAY FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM THROUGH POPULAR REFERENDUM TO PAVE WAY FOR TRUE FEDERALISM AND GRASSROOTS PARTICIPATION!

IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR PRESIDENT 'BOLA TINUBU TO REVERSE ALL UNPOPULAR POLICIES AND CHAMPION THE REFERENDUM IN RESTITUTION!

Politics / "We No Go Gree" For Presidential Looting Of Treasury Again! by z07ion: 6:48pm On Jan 20
"And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11:12).

And from the days of Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, UNTIL NOW, the Treasury Single Account (TSA), of Nigeria has suffered violence of institutional looting, stealing and bare-faced robbery and only "WE NO GO GREE" anti-corruption CRUSADERS FOR REFERENDUM can stop it by Force!
When "Mr. Integrity", ex-President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office in 2015, masses of the citizens believed that he would be the "Messiah" to save Nigeria from endless corruption, institutional stealing and robbery of the national treasury, judging by his past antecedent of diligence/probity as a military officer!

Unfortunately his two-term tenure turned out to compete violently with that of the late military dictator Sani Abacha whose looted funds are still being repatriated 23 years after his demise!

And in respect of Buhari, billions of local and foreign currencies between 2015-2023 under the guise of CONTRACT AWARDS and annual BUDGET APPROVALS grew wings and disappeared into thin air!
Although no malfeasance was traced to Baba Buhari throughout his 8 years in office directly or indirectly but it was under his watch that all political office holders elected or appointed stole Nigeria blind and looted the Treasury Single Account (TSA), which he instituted from inception to checkmate lootings of money deposits from all revenue-generating Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and the various Federal Government parastatals.
Also under his watch, thousands of corrupt public office holders, elected/appointed politicians, advisers at both Federal and sub-national levels, laundered illicit monies cornered from phantom contracts and padded budgets in billions of dollars from Nigeria abroad into offshore accounts in a free-for-all manner!

"RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO ALL PEOPLE!" (Proverbs 14:34).

ALL PAST PRESIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATIONS MUST BE PROBED AS SOON AS NIGERIA SETTLES FOR UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT TO RECOVER ALL LOOTED FUNDS AND BRING ALL CULPRITS TO JUSTICE!

Fillers from President Bola Tinubu's kitchen cabinet indicate that he is very willing to polish his dented image of cluelessness in governance by applying the big stick on appointees suspected or alleged to be involved in malfeasance of any type!

On trial now are Buhari's former Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation and Tinubu's current Minister holding the same portfolio, Mrs. Beta Edu, who are being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for allegedly siphoning N37.1bn and N585million respectively into private accounts and pockets!
Please find below details of the allegations according to the electronic, social and print media reports and conclude whether "YOU GO GREE FOR PRESIDENTIAL TREASURY-LOOTING SPREE TO CONTINUE!

Channels Report updated 8th January 2024.

N37bn Fraud: EFCC Quizzes Ex-Humanitarian Minister Sadiya

Mrs Umar-Farouq was invited by the anti-graft agency to offer clarifications in respect of some issues that the Commission is investigating.
Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday quizzed ex-Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, over an alleged laundering of N37.1 billion
Farouq was still at the office of the EFCC as of 6pm on Monday as she was still being quizzed by interrogators. The ex-minister had shunned previous invitations by the anti-graft agency but later explained that she would honour the invite.
“I remain proud to have served my country as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with every sense of responsibility and will defend my actions, stewardship and programmes during my tenure whenever I am called upon to do so,” she was quoted to have said.
The former Minister had earlier failed to honour the invitation of the anti-graft agency on the alleged laundering of N37.1 billion during her tenure.

She, however, wrote a letter to apologise to the Commission over her failure to honour their invitation. The spokesman of the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, had told Channels Television that the former minister wrote to the anti-graft, explaining that she is not disposed for now to appear before the commission.

BREAKING: EFCC invites Betta Edu over N585m scandal

PUNCH REPORT Updated 8th January 2024.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has invited the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, to its headquarters located in Jabi, Abuja over an alleged N585m scandal.
The invitation came less than an hour after President Bola Tinubu announced Edu’s suspension from office through the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.
An impeccable EFCC source, who confirmed the development to our correspondent, revealed that the anti-graft agency’s Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, had earlier recommended the suspension of the Minister to the President to pave the way for proper investigation.
The source further noted that the commission swung into action immediately after the President ordered a thorough investigation into the alleged payment of N585.189 million grant meant for vulnerable groups in Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ogun and Lagos states into a private account.

“We have invited the suspended Minister, Betta Edu. The invitation letter was sent to her immediately after her suspension was announced by the President. We’re are expecting her at the headquarters any moment from now,” the source noted.
WAITING ON THE WING TO EITHER RESIGN HONORABLY OF BE SACKED IS THE MALE FEDERAL MINISTER FOR INTERNAL AFFAIRS WHOSE PRIVATE COMPANY WAS ALSO ALLEGED TO HAVE BENEFITED FROM MRS. BETA EDU'S CONTRACTS!

If Nigeria runs a Unicameral Parliamentary System of Government, the nation would not maintain the ridiculous position of THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY, POVERTY CAPITAL AND BEGGAR NATION OF THE WORLD ON ANNUAL BASIS!

Do you know that Nigeria is totally BROKE without a KOBO TO ITS NAME? All the extravagance on display at federal and sub-national levels including salaries, allowances, all overseas tours are predicated and dispensed on borrowed monies and CRUDE OIL SWAP DEALS!

SHE YOU STILL GO DE GREE?

Support the Clarion Call for a popular REFERENDUM and get the country out of this shameful mess! Demand that your National Assembly Legislators move a BILL for the Referendum TODAY!

"A stitch in time saves nine!"

Politics / This Is No Time For Docility – Are All The #endsars Youths Dead? by z07ion: 10:13pm On Jan 13
THIS IS NO TIME FOR DOCILITY – ARE ALL THE #ENDSARS YOUTHS DEAD?

It is factual that the current government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his humongous cabinet of vultures, plus the “budget padder”members of the 10th National Assembly Legislatures handling the social economic affairs of the Nigeria are the biblical “ lovers of money” rooted in incurable institutional corruption!

They all clapped, shook hands and hugged when Mr. President signed the 2024 padded NGN 28.5 trillion naira national Budget without scrutiny or query into law on 1st January for the debt-ridden document to meet an annual cycle of January to December of endemic institutional corruption!

And docile Nigerian Youths have been shut up with Fuel Subsidy Palliatives of Free Train Rides and 50% reduction for inter-state commercial bus commuters plus some half “Mudu” of RICE for Christmas and New year! The man Tinubu when he was Lagos State Governor believed in the crude mentality that open bribery through distribution of physical cash to his subjects would blindfold them to becoming sub- servient and easier to manipulate!

His approach to socio-economic issues as an “accountant” was most questionable because bona fide members of the noble profession were very thrift with regards to reckless/unaccountable expenditures in all institutions, government or private!

WE RECOMMEND THAT HIS EIGHT- TENURE IN LAGOS STATE BE SUBJECTED TO FORENSIC AUDIT IMMEDIATELY!

His acclaimed sagacity and the Midas touch which produced economic gains and prosperity which turned Lagos State into a leading economic destination in West Africa was nothing but a well-rehearsed rhetoric’s by his boot-lickers who would orchestrate any lie from the pit of hell for pecuniary gains!

According to his apologists Lagos State was the 5th largest economy in Africa in 1999 when he became governor! This claim turned out to be FALSE!
They also claimed that the State’s IGR during his two terms rose from NGN14 billion in 1999 to NGN83.02 bn. In 2007; at departure. Figures were found to be FALSE as there was no data to support the dubious claims through the World Bank or the Lagos Bureau of Statistics! However Lagos State currently generate about 56 billion naira per month according to the Nigeria bureau of statistics.

EVERY LIE HAS A TERMINAL DATE!

The question is why are people who know the truth keep telling lies over and over again that tinubu succeeded as governor 1999 and 2007 and that he multiplied the resources of Lagos to an extraordinary proportion and that he would do the same as president of Nigeria.

#ENDSARS ORGANIZERS MUST WAKE UP AND COUNTER TINUBU’S DIABOLICAL PLAN TO KEEP THEIR GENERATION IN PERPETUAL SLAVERY!
He has signed the padded N28.7 trillion 2024 appropriation bill into law.

According to the CABLE,
Tinubu signed the 2024 appropriation bill on Monday 1st January 2024 at the presidential villa in Abuja. Speaking after signing the document, the president said the implementation of the budget would be “efficiently pursued and vigorously monitored”.
“All the institutional mechanisms shall be held to account in ensuring diligent implementation,” he said.
“All MDA’s have been directed to take responsibility and provide monthly Budget Performance Reports to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, which in turn shall ensure the veracity of such.

“The Minister of Finance and Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy shall hold regular reviews with the Economic Management Team and, in addition, I shall Chair periodic Economic Coordination Council meetings.”
The top priorities of the budget are defence and internal security, job creation, macroeconomic stability, improved investment environment, human capital development, poverty reduction, and social security.
The president reiterated his commitment to prioritise the judiciary in his administration.

“Funding the judiciary is a major element in our effort to support a just, rules-based society. Statutory transfer to the Judiciary has been increased from 165 billion naira to 342 billion naira,” he said.
Some of the key estimates are capital expenditure, N10 trillion; recurrent expenditure, N8.8 trillion; debt service, N8.2 trillion, and statutory transfers, N1.7 trillion.

Godswill Akpabio, senate president; Tajudeen Abass, speaker of the house of representatives; Wale Edun, minister of finance and the coordinating minister of the economy, and Abubakar Bagudu, minister of Budget and economic planning, were present during the signing of the budget.

On Saturday, the two arms of the national assembly passed the 2024 appropriation bill and increased its size from N27.5 trillion proposed by Tinubu to N28.7 trillion. The budget size was increased by N1.2 trillion.
The bill was passed for the third reading at the senate after Solomon Olamilekan, chairman of the senate committee on appropriation, presented a report for consideration.

The appropriation bill was also passed for a third reading by the lower legislative chamber after Abubakar Bichi, chairman of the committee on appropriations, presented a report.

TINUBU’S FALIURE IN LAGOS STATE SHOULD NOT BE REPLICATED AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL!

IT IS TIME FOR THE YOUTHS TO DEMAND FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH REFERENDUM AND BREAK ONCE AND FOR ALL THE YOKE OF GENERATIONAL SLAVERY THROUGH INSTITUTIONAL MANIPULATION!

Politics / Nigerians Demand Unicameral Parliamentary System Through Referendum Now! by z07ion: 10:36pm On Jan 06
Citizens expectations from government in any new year are usually focused in the direction of fulfilment of promises made by political leaders to improve on adequate provisions of socio-economic dividends in very secured environment.

But the 24-year-old Presidential System of Government in Nigeria had never met those lofty expectations!
From Obasanjo to Tinubu, who has now found himself in a dire strait due to inordinate ambition which has resulted in several failed policy decisions in seven months of administration, new years in Nigeria were always calamitous!

New years were always greeted with gruesome murders and mass killings of defenseless citizens across the nation and no one or groups of people had ever been held responsible nor successfully prosecuted and so the carnage continues unabated!

Patriotic citizens do not need lectures in political science to determine that a presidential system of government was most unsuitable for any developing country in any part of the world.

But the Nigerian military adventurists foisted it on selfish and greedy politicians who capitalized on the accursed 1999 Constitution to further plunder the leftover of the common patrimony by the khaki boys who forcibly ruled the country for almost 30 years!

Without adequate security, socio-economic activities would never thrive and security architecture would remain an illusion for as long as school age children in their millions are roaming the streets begging for alms and able-bodied employable young men and women are idle and jobless!

THE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM IN NIGERIA HAS WOEFULLY FAILED!

Current political leaders need neither Soothsayers nor Prophet’s to announce the truth that Nigeria is failed State by all standards!

The latest Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Report according to the PUNCH should be sufficient to confirm the urgency to opt for a Change from PRESIDENTIAL TO UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM of government!

“The National Bureau of Statistics disclosed on Wednesday that Nigeria’s headline inflation rate surged to 27.33 per cent in October.

This is a 0.61 percentage point from the 26.72 per cent that was recorded in September.

In its Consumer Price Index (October 2023) that was released on Wednesday, the NBS stated, “In October 2023, the headline inflation rate increased to 27.33 per cent relative to the September 2023 headline inflation rate which was 26.72 per cent.

“Looking at the movement, the October 2023 headline inflation rate showed an increase of 0.61 percentage points when compared to the September 2023 headline inflation rate.”

Major contributors to the increase in inflation were food and non-alcoholic beverages, housing, water, electricity gas and other fuel, clothing and footwear, transport, and furnishings and household equipment and maintenance.

In its recent forecast for the year, KPMG predicted that Nigeria’s headline inflation may rise to 30 per cent by December 2023 because of fuel subsidy removal, and the unification of the foreign exchange market.

The Headline inflation is the total inflation in an economy which includes commodities like food and energy.
In this piece, PUNCH Online highlights the nation’s headline inflation rates (expressed in percentage) from January to October 2023, on a month-on-month and year-on-year points basis.

Foreign investments fell to $654m in third quarter – NBS

Economy: Unleashing informal sector potential Inter-city travel surges by 62%, says NBS

Observations

There was an increase in the headline inflation from January to October.

There was an increase in the month-on-month percentage points from February to August, before the drop from August to September and then October.

The highest year-on-year basis was observed in October.
Source NBS”.

Political office holders in the Three Tiers Have all admitted that the system has taken Nigeria back into the dark ages and those of them who were patriotic to speak out during the 8th and 9th National Assemblies collected signatures of members to move a Bill for REFERENDUM for a switch but it was frustrated by FIFTH COLUMNISTS!

PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM IS TOO COSTLY!

In the build up to the last Presidential elections in Nigeria the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) raised the cost of nomination form to NGN 100 million naira per candidate and all the money bags paid the amount, though citizens in all their various Constituencies wallow in POVERTY!

Below is a brief summary of the presidency according to BRITANICA across the world:

“President, in government, the officer who serves as head of state and sometimes also as chief executive. In countries where the president is chief of state but not of government, the role is largely ceremonial, with few or no political powers. Presidents may be elected directly or indirectly, for a limited or unlimited number of terms.
In the U.S., the president’s chief duty is to ensure that the laws are faithfully executed, which he does through various executive agencies and with the aid of his cabinet. He also serves as commander in chief of the armed forces, nominates judges to the Supreme Court, and makes treaties with foreign governments (contingent on Senate approval).

The office of president is used in governments in South and Central America, Africa, and elsewhere. In Western Europe executive power is generally vested in a prime minister and his cabinet, and the president, where the office exists, has few responsibilities (though France is a significant exception).”

Nigeria copied the presidential system from the United States where CORRUPTION is anathema but has deviated from the norms from inception to date!

Tinubu’s Advisers should urge him to begin to READ THE SOCIAL MEDIA BECAUSE THE STORM IS ALREADY BREWING FOR THE DEMAND FOR UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THROUGH POPULAR REFERENDUM!

EXPECT A PRIME MINISTER IN NIGERIA NOW!

Politics / Robbing Peter To Pay Paul In Nigeria! by z07ion: 10:36pm On Dec 30, 2023
According to President Bola Tinubu, a total sum of NGN1TRILLION NAIRA was saved into the Federation Account in the very first month of PETROLEUM SUBSIDY REMOVAL!
Between June and December 2023, a period of SEVEN MONTHS, Nigeria should have been richer with NGN7 TRILLION NAIRA! Where is the money?

Mr. President did not give account of the gains from his policy somersault of which the economic pains/agonies are still reverberating across the nation before presenting the very offensive/insensitive
2024 APPROPRIATION BILL OF N27.5 TRILLION TO THE JOINT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ON WEDNESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2023!

HAS TINUBU NOT RE-INTRODUCED FUEL SUBSIDY THROUGH THE BACK DOOR?

International market prices of PMS, AGO and other petroleum products hover between NGN800 to 850 naira per liter and in Nigeria the NNPCL which controls Nigeria's prices to sell at between NGN700 and 750 naira!
Who pays the difference between the international price and NNPCL price - of course, the Nigerian government! As Christmas dovetailed into the New Year 2024 the confused Mr President and his Wife now resort to Father/Mother Christmas approach of disbursing liquid cash to all and sundry "in the spirit of Yuletide?"
And whereas the AFTERTHOUGHT would have been very unnecessary if Tinubu had opted for a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT AS DIVINELY INSTRUCTED!

His government would not have needed to purchase NGN160 million naira worth of FOREIGN SUVS for a very small percentage of opportunist politicians on BORROWED FUNDS and continue to pay them humongous allowances that should have taken care of EDUCATION, HEALTH, ROADS, TRANSPORTATION, WELFARE FOR THE DISABLED AND THOSE WHO ARE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED AND INSECURITY WHICH HAS INTERNATIONALLY INDEXED NIGERIA AS THE WORST CRIME-INFESTED NATION IN THE WORLD!

Now at Christmas and New year the Federal government resulted to dish out MORE "PADDED PALLIATIVES" THROUGH TRANSPORTATION from the 21st December to 1st January 2024 TO COMMUTERS from East to West, North to South who would pay 50% of their fares to cushion their suffer rings while TRAIN SERVICES FROM ONE END TO ANOTHER ACROSS THE COUNTRY WAS TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE!

AND Tinubu says he has removed SUBSIDY! WHO IS FOOLING WHO? This administration MUST put a stop to these shenanigans! The President and his cabal politicians know the solution to this problem in which only about TWO MILLION people are being FED FAT while the rest of the 220 million LOOK AT THE MASTERS TABLE FOR CRUMBS!
The PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM has virtually destroyed the economy of this nation and there can be no better time than NOW to opt for a PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WHICH IS VIRTUALLY COST- FREE! PATRIOTIC Nigerians are ready to serve without collecting salaries or any form of ALLOWANCES! With great zeal and commitment they are ready to work on PART TIME to bring the nation back to lost glory before MILITARY INCURSION INTO POLITICS IN 1966!

A RUDDERLESS SHIP WITHOUT A CAPTAIN!

Nigeria is a country of leadership without genuine set of RULE OF LAW!
The MILITARY CONSTITUTION bequeathed to the politicians from 29th May 1999 is a mere paper tiger because consecutive administrations disobeyed COURT ORDERS WITH IMPUNITY! The Paperwork titled Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999, is just gathering dusts on the desks and cabinets in the offices of Civil Servants/ Public Officers across the nation at both Federal and State levels!

In spite of its faulty antecedents, the 1999 Constitution however did not make provision for the office of FIRST LADY OF NIGERIA but Mr. Tinubu appropriated NGN 1.5 billion naira for the purchase of vehicles for the non-existent office in his 2023 Supplementary Budget which was approved by NASS amidst public outcry!

AND WHEREAS REMI TINUBU HAD ALREADY LAUNCHED AN NGO!

According media reports and News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, in anticipation of the prestigious position and office of First Lady of Nigeria on Friday 23rd June 2023, launched a programme to empower women, youth and children in the country.

The first lady launched the programme, Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), at the State House in Abuja. Speaking with journalists after the inaugural meeting of RHI governing board members, Tinubu said the programme would target vulnerable groups and bring them closer to the government.

She said that the initiative would focus on five key areas – agriculture, education, economic empowerment, health and socio-investment.
Beneficiaries will register with the corporate affairs commission and open a bank account to qualify to be considered,” NAN quoted the president’s wife as saying.

“We hope to take off with unspent funds from the 2023 campaign purse after which we shall solicit funds from private organisations, international donors and non-governmental organisations.

“The programme will enable us to assist the vulnerable groups. We shall try to see what we can do to naturally meet their needs.

We shall have zonal meetings which will involve the wives of the state governors.”
The governing board members of the initiative include the first lady, Nana Shettima, wife of the vice president, and Salamatu Gbajabiamila, wife of the chief of staff.
Others are Chioma Uzodimma, wife of the governor of Imo state and Betta Edu, All Progressives Congress (APC) national women leader.
Presently Remi is disbursing NGN100,000 Cash palliatives to 250 Vulnerable Elders in each of the 36 States of the Federation!
Where is the source of the money? OF COURSE, THE CITIZENS WHO ARE THE DRAWERS OF THE WATER AND HEWERS OF THE WOOD!

ROBBING PETER TO PAY PAUL IS NOT THE SOLUTION TO TINUBU'S MALADMINISTRATION! UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM IS THE RIGHT WAY TO GO!

Politics / Birds Of A Feather - Tinubu Chairs Akpabio's Birthday Bash! by z07ion: 1:48pm On Dec 23, 2023
On Sunday 3rd December, 2023, the Nigerian Army in a drone strike accidentally bombed, a procession of worshippers resulting in a deadly casualty of about 120 innocent lives! But in less than a week when the nation was still in the mourning mood the number three man in the hierarchy of governance rolled out the drums to celebrate his 61st birthday anniversary which was not even a landmark occasion! Chief Godswill Akpabio threw caution to the winds, bombarded the Akwa Ibom's Stadium named after him on 9th December 2023, where thousands of poor hungry masses had been gathered to celebrate the birthday in his home State which he ruled as PDP Governor from 2007-2015!

Mrs. 'Remi Tinubu represented her husband who was still on a jamboree in Dubai at the Climate Change Summit with 1,400 entourage on tax payers expenses! Some political analysts posited that it was "a show of political assertion" in a People’s Democratic Party (PDP), State which is in opposition to the Federal APC Government which he represented. The display of insensitivity by this opportunist politician continued at a colloquium in Abuja on Thursday 14th of December 2023 where his partner in sadism, Mr. 'Bola Ahmed Tinubu was seated as the most distinguished chairman of the occasion!
WHERE IS MORAL JUSTIFICATION IN THE RECKLESS EXHIBITION OF AFFLUENCE TO OVER 150 MILLION MULTI-DIMENSIONALLY POOR MASSES IN NIGERIA? Desperate Nigerian politicians would go to any extent to remain in relevance or reckoning!

1) Here is a man who confessed that he had no AUTHENTIC BIRTHDAY because his uncle could not ascertain when he was born!
2) Following his loss of popularity and failure secure the Senatorial Seat in 2015, crossed over to the All Progressives Congress (APC), and was appointed Minister for Niger Delta by former President Buhari
3) Allegations of impropriety made EFCC to invite him for questioning as Niger Delta Minister but has the matter died a natural death?
4) He eventually found his way into the Senate and became Minority Leader!
5) Akpabio's ambition pushed him to also purchase APC'S NGN100m naira form for the post of President which he lost but manoeuvred back to the Senate with diabolical ingenuity to become the President of the 10th Senate!

THE ROLE OF OLISA AGBAKOBA (SAN) AT AKPABIO'S BIRTHDAY COLLOQUIUM!

Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), is a man that the Editorial Board of Zion B-BC Newsletter holds in very high esteem. A trail-blazer, a cerebral of high academic distinction in the legal profession, an achiever par excellence and a human rights activist.
BUT he was a wrong candidate for guest speakership at a gathering of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves!"

In a Tweet after the innocuous gathering, Dr. Agbakoba said: "I was a guest speaker at the lecture colloquium in honour of the Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio (CON). My presentation "Volcanic Explosion of an Uncommon an Agenda for Development", focused on issue of governance revenue generation and job creation." His presentation on the occasion was professionally crafted and on point but was completely defeated when during his comical response to the gathering, the celebrant posited that CORRUPTION had debuted in the polity before Independence in 1959 and had come to stay! It is pertinent to remind the legal luminary that constitution amendments in the past 23 years has become anathema - a conduit pipe for the legislators to perpetrate rooted corruption at every turn. Past amendments which had consumed billions of Naira were always discarded without Presidential assent!

He should have realised that restructuring the country to Regional System has become analogue and his advocacy should have been on the Change to UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM THROUGH A POPULAR REFERENDUM!

Agbakoba MUST not accept any appointment from this gang of sadists and descendants of EMPEROR NERO WHO KEPT ROLLICKING WHILE ROME WAS ON FIRE!
He MUST not soil his hands with Red Portage after about FOUR DECADES of very successful legal practice.
"A word is enough for the wise!"

Politics / One Bomb Too Many! The Blood Of Innocent Nigerians Cry For Vengeance! by z07ion: 11:05pm On Dec 16, 2023
Between the Armed Forced and armed terrorists, who has the greatest casualties of human bloodshed in Nigeria? During the 30-month-old Biafra War which took place in Nigeria between July 1967 and January 1970, it was officially estimated that not less than Two Million persons - mostly innocent citizens were killed through military warfare!

Secession from the geographical conglomerate of Nigeria by the entire Eastern Region was at the root of the military intervention by the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon but
allegations of genocide against the populace eventually took the center stage before eventual surrender to Federal Troops. The thirty-year military interregnum which ensued thereafter virtually birthed angry and unforgiving citizens to engage in acts of insurrection, brigandage and terrorism which politically constituted authority have failed to contain to date!
Among contentious insecurities are the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed group, Eastern Security Network (ESN); which never gave up the demand for secession from Nigeria;

An Islamic group identified as Boko Haram with no clear-political ideology than that Western Education was anathema to North East Nigeria citizens and believed it could carve out a Caliphate out of the Region had for over 14 years virtually destroyed Nigeria's economy through unorthodox guerilla warfare of "hit and run tactics"!
Boko Haram eventually became Octopus with several tentacles which metamorphosed the armed Fulani Herdsmen in order to perpetrate all geo-political zones; as gunmen, bandits, kidnappers, assassins etc!

These enemies of State have also snuffed out innocent lives in their millions!

Nigeria's very corrupt consecutive administrations in the process further gave vent to terrorism by:
1) Underfunding all the security apparatuses to allow the ragamuffins to gain upper hand at the various theaters of war!
2) Able-bodied citizens were discouraged to seek employment in the Armed Forces and the Police where security funds were always allegedly misappropriated by State Actors who would rather purchase antiquated weapons instead of high-tech and sophisticated equipments that would ensure victory at any encounter!
3) In view of the lackadaisical approach of politicians to selfishly equip themselves with all the luxurious items for grandeur existence to the detriment of the Citizens whom they swore on oath to succour, those in the security wings would rather allow crimes/criminalities subsist rather than get killed unsung, unwailed!

BUT FOR THE PATRIOTIC AND DILIGENT AMONG THE PERSONNEL, WHO WOULD RATHER BATTLE/GAMBLE WITH THE ACCURSED WEAPONS NOW HAVE THEIR HANDS SOILED WITH THE BLOOD OF OVER 120 INNOCENT RELIGIOUS WORSHIPPERS WHOM THEY MISTOOK FOR TERRORISTS!

Below is a Channels Media account of The latest Kaduna Massacre:

‘Kaduna Bombing Regrettable’, Army Chief Apologises

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, on Tuesday, described the deadly airstrike that killed 85 people and injured several others in Kaduna State as regrettable.

The army chief, who visited the site of the mishap that has thrown the nation into a sorrowful mood, apologised on behalf of the Nigerian Army to the community, the government, and the people of Kaduna State.
Lagbaja, who visited the victims two days after the accidental strike in the Igabi area of the North-West state, promised to guard against such an occurrence in the conduct of military operations.
“My assessment of that unfortunate incident of Sunday, December 3, 2023, is that it is grave, regrettable. We will do everything possible to prevent such an occurrence from happening again in the conduct of our operations going forward,” he said about one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.
The army chief was accompanied by principal staff officers from the army headquarters and the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and also met with the Dangaladima Zazau, the District Head of Rigasa, Architect Aminu Idris, other leaders, and members of the community.

Eighty-five were killed in an air strike by the Nigerian Army at Tudun Biri village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, in one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.
The North-West zonal spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Halima Suleiman, told Channels Television that 66 other victims were also injured in Sunday’s bombing.
She said the fatality figure was gotten from the local authorities after the burial of the victims on Monday.

Initial Confusion

Confusion had trailed Sunday’s accidental air strike with the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) saying it was not responsible for the bombing. Hours later, the Kaduna State Government said the Army had taken responsibility for the accidental mistake.

Nigeria’s armed forces often rely on air strikes in their battle against so-called bandit militias in the North-West and North-East of the country, where jihadists have been fighting for more than a decade. However, such air strikes have not been without controversies and accidental bombings and alleged miscalculations, with innocent Nigerians, including soldiers as casualties. Earlier in 2023, NAF took responsibility over a fatal airstrike on Kwatiri, a Nasarawa village. At least 39 persons were killed and six others injured in the airstrike that occurred on 24 January. In 2021, about 20 soldiers on ground were allegedly slain in Mainok, Borno State, when a NAF fighter jet responding to attacks on a military camp by Boko Haram insurgents bombed the military camp based on a wrong coordinate.

Tinubu Orders Probe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday ordered an investigation after the army acknowledged one of its drones accidentally struck Tudun Biri village as residents were celebrating a Muslim festival.
“President Tinubu describes the incident as very unfortunate, disturbing, and painful, expressing indignation and grief over the tragic loss of Nigerian lives,” the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale said in a statement.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State also ordered a full investigation into Sunday’s incident, reassuring the citizens that their security and protection will be prioritised in the sustained fight against terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements.
While directing the immediate evacuation of the injured to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital for emergency medical attention, the governor disclosed that The Kaduna State Government will be responsible for their treatment and related logistics. He, however, appealed to the affected community and all citizens of the state to be calm and continue to support the security forces and the state government in the battle against terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements in the state.

TRUTH OF THE MATTER!

If the entire military hierarchy were sacked and all families of the departed mourn daily, the deed remain done!
The few righteous in Tinubu's government MUST rise to the occasion by speaking TRUTH TO POWER!
There must be a very effective coordination between members of the security forces that have lost hope in consecutive governments and those who are the determined to see the country through by eliminating corruption in all facets of government for accountability to take firm root!
Looted security funds must be probed and recovered in order to boost the morale of Nigeria’s once internationally acclaimed, trusted and diligent troops!

Nigerians can no longer bear these pains caused by opportunists in government! The sure way to go is Unicameral Parliamentary System of government through popular REFERENDUM!

Politics / Cop 28 Was A Cover For Tinubu To Shamelessly Beg For More Money! by z07ion: 11:08pm On Dec 09, 2023
While world leaders and delegates at the United Arab Emirate (UAE), UN Conference of Parties COP 28 Climate Change Summit ( 30th November - 12th December), 2023, brainstormed on how to accelerate measures to aggressively eliminate green house emissions through collective drive, the Nigerian President and his team poached for portfolio investments on the sidelines! Nigeria had been complicit in gas flaring for more than 53 years from the time when massive exploration began in the 70s and hard hardly contributed funds to the world body to mitigate the horrible negative effects of greenhouse emission into the climate! In a lack-lustre speech, Tinubu pledged to end gas flaring in Nigeria as part of its contribution to global push to reduce methane emissions. He also said Nigeria has consolidated on gas export and domestic consumption as part partners for renewable energy.
He confessed that though his country was committed to energy mix, he believed that the two biggest economies US and China whom he described as the "biggest culprits" should act real fast because the Earth needed urgent healing!
The theme of COP28 is "Transition to Clean Energy", 123 Countries are in attendance.

According to Wikipedia;

"Due to climate change, Northern Nigeria is seeing greater heatwaves and lengthier, more erratic rainfall. New problems such extreme droughts, floods, deforestation, pollution, and food shortages have resulted from this." Shortly before he embarked on the Dubai escapade, Mr. 'Bola Tinubu had presented to the joint National Assembly (NASS) Legislators a total sum of NGN27.5 trillion naira as the 2024 Budget Appropriation for the flagging economy in which no mention was made in respect of alternative renewable energy mass transportation for commuters! And whereas the larger bulk of the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), of the very ambitious budget would derive from CLIMATE-POLLUTANT CRUDE OIL and ancillaries which were even beyond the reach of over 133 million multi-dimensionally poor Nigerians who are victims of Tinubu's policy somersault of SUBSIDY REMOVAL!

FOSSIL-FUEL or Hydrocarbon is climate change unfriendly and Nigeria which had refused to change status quo but believes strongly that Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), derivable from CRUDE OIL would last for eternity side by side with RENEWABLE ENERGY COMPONENTS LIKE SOLAR, ELECTRIC OR COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG), must be ready to face painful consequences!
CRUDE OIL EXPLORATION/GAS FLARING would remain detrimental to the gradual destruction of the OZONE LAYER in no distant future if other world leaders behaved nonchalantly like the Nigerian President.

Nigeria possesses FOUR GOVERNMENT REFINERIES, WHICH IN TWENTY YEARS ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF TURN-AROUND MAINTENANCE!
DANGOTE'S 650-MILLION BARRELS PER DAY MODERN REFINERY SHOULD COME ON BOARD THIS DECEMBER.
AND ADDED TO THESE ARE CLUSTERS OF MODULAR REFINERIES which have largely contributed to land pollution/degradation for years on end due to massive exploration and exploitation which needed urgent attention of reversal!
Nigeria's 1400 Delegates will attend and collect between USD 900-1500 each per day!

THE NIGERIAN 2024 BUDGET IS A CUT AND PASTE OF OLD TEMPLATES!

The Appropriation has followed annual ritual of deficit budgets always funded through external borrowings (NGN9.8 trillion for 2024), and the clinical dissection has begun in earnest! Between Wednesday 29th November and Saturday 2nd December 2023, the document has gone through Second Reading of both Chambers for it to meet the annual January to December cycle of Budget Implementation in spite of the fact that it represented a cacophony of the previous ones devoid of all basic dividends through institutional inadequacies and security infrastructures!

HAS ANY FEDERAL ANNUAL NIGERIAN BUDGET EVER BEEN FULLY EXECUTED OR IMPLEMENTED SINCE 1999?

Consecutive corrupt politicians have all become multi-billionaires over the years because no annual budget in 23 years was fully executed or implemented. Year-on-year the ROADS remain impassable, public potable water - a dream pipe; EDUCATION - a mirage; EMPLOYMENT - paper tiger; HOUSING - marked as demolition structures; INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION - comatose; MANUFACTURING - replaced with imported finished products, including PMS; CAPITAL EXPENDITURE IS FOR - working allowances of politicians and civil servants, salaries/emoluments, imported Sport Utility Vehicles SUVs @ NGN160 million naira each - housing/overseas holiday allowances, domestic staff allowances, etc, etc, all fully paid in billions/trillions of naira on annual basis! This time around, Tinubu has promised national defense/internal security, local job creation, macro-economic stability and poverty reduction!
AND WHEREAS THE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM ALBATROSS OF ANNUAL BUDGET PADDING BY THE LEGISLATORS REMAINED A RECURRING DECIMAL BECAUSE OF EXECUTIVE COMPLICITY!

BETWEEN THE EXECUTIVE AND THE LEGISLATURE - WHO OVERSIGHTS WHO?
President Tinubu presented TWO SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGETS as addendums to the BUHARI'S, 2023 farewell budget to which no accountability had been adduced before the latest 2024 BUDGET OF RENEWED HOPE?
WHAT DID CHINA, SINGAPORE, SOUTH KOREA, JAPAN AND THE ASIAN TIGERS DO DIFFERENTLY TO ATTAIN CURRENT ECONOMIC PROWESS?
" Go to the ant, thou sluggard; Consider her ways, and be wise": (Prov 6:6-cool.

THEY SHUT THEIR BORDERS AGAINST FOREIGN AND LUXURIOUS GOODS; remained content with what they could produce from within and as such were able to destroy all tendencies of unpatriotism and developed the Spirit of Camaraderie, national pride and built up their Nations to become world economic leaders in their own rights!
They are all practicing true democracy in which all citizens are involved in equal representations while poverty has been completely erased to almost zero level!

THE ONLY ROAD OUT OF THE SHAMEFUL INTERNATIONAL INDEXING AS THE MOST-CORRUPT AND POVERTY CAPITAL OF THE WORLD IS TO DUMP THE PRODIGAL PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM AND EMBRACE THE UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM WHICH IS GRASS-ROOT ORIENTED AND VERY COST-FRIENDLY!

ABRIDGED VERSION OF TINUBU'S 2024 BUDGET OF RENEWED HOPE?

In his presentation, he declared, “The 2024 Appropriation has been themed the Budget of Renewed Hope. The proposed budget seeks to achieve job-rich economic growth, macro-economic stability, a better investment environment, enhanced human capital development, as well as poverty reduction and greater access to social security.”
As contained in a document released by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, this is the breakdown and highlights of critical allocations in the 2024 budget.

EDUCATION: N2.18 Trillion (7.9% of Budget)

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT & POVERTY REDUCTION PROGRAMMES:
N534 billion (2% of Budget) – Amount provisioned for Social Investments / Poverty Reduction Programmes.

ALL LEGISLATORS MUST DECLARE THEIR ASSETS AND LIABILITIES NOW!
While the legislators are busy dissecting the BOOTY to their own tastes through PERFECTED PADDING (Courtesy Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, Chairman, House Committee Chairman, Finance, 8TH NASS), THEY SHOULD EFFECT PUBLIC DECLARATION OF THEIR ASSETS AND LIABILITIES ACCORDING TO THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA BEFORE 1ST JANUARY, 2024, FOR ALL NIGERIAN ELECTORATE TO PERUSE AND STUDY!
IT IS MOST SENSIBLE TO PREVENT THE TREASURY LOOTERS FROM BREAKING INTO THE STRONG ROOM INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING LATER!

Politics / Nigerian Courts Would Lose Its Dignity If Judiciary Succumbs To Money Bags! by z07ion: 10:09pm On Dec 02, 2023
The Supreme Court of Nigeria is poised to face a litmus test when the Kano State Gubernatorial Elections Petition which was nullified on technical grounds at the Appeal Court will be tabled before the Apex Court for final adjudication!

Since resumption of the transient democracy in 1999, when retired military presidents from Olusegun Obasanjo including their civilian counterparts relegated the rule of law in the country to employment of illicit monies to suppress Justice, the Judiciary has been on the receiving end of public condemnation!

Election rigging cases by incumbent governments always sailed through in their favor even when evidences were adduced that incumbent Mr. President Obasanjo vocally threatened "do or die" victory for his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the year 2007!

Hundreds of human lives were lost in that presidential election, but Mr. Obasanjo and his collaborators won at the law courts!

Twenty three years on through institutional corruption, the Court has lost its position as the last hope of the common man but now the preserve of the money bags!

The Electorate are all at loggerheads with biased, lopsided 2023 Tribunals and Appeal Courts judgements which they believed favoured the highest bidders and have organized several Street protests to vent their displeasure!

KANO STATE Governorship Appeal Court judgement which ousted the incumbent is trending and security tension is high in the old Northern capital city!

Court Of Appeal Affirms Tribunal Judgment, Sacks Kano Governor

The court agreed with the judgment of the tribunal, ruling that the fielding of Abba Yusuf was in breach of the Electoral Law.

The Guardian Updated November 17, 2023, Report is as follows:

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld the ruling of the Election Petitions Tribunal sacking Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State.

In its judgment, the Appeal Court agreed with the judgment of the tribunal, ruling that the fielding of Abba Yusuf was in breach of the Electoral Law as he was not qualified to contest that Election.
The verdict comes nearly two months after the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, on September 20, sacked Yusuf, declaring the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, as the winner of the March 18 2023 election.
Yusuf, who contested on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), was declared the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after the poll in March.

The tribunal deducted 165,663 votes from Yusuf’s total as invalid votes, stating that the affected ballot papers were not stamped or signed and therefore declared invalid.

The ruling came about six months after the APC candidate conceded defeat to Yusuf in the wake of INEC’s presentation of the certificate of return to the NNPP candidate.

In a two-minute audio statement on March 29, Gawuna stated that “as a good Muslim”, he was compelled to accept the outcome of the election, whether in his favour or not.

He added that although his campaign team had requested a review of the election results by INEC, upon review, the commission had found Yusuf to be the winner of the election.

In the wake of the judgment, the APC hailed it and described it as a show of the vibrancy of the nation’s judiciary.

“As we applaud the judiciary for its courage and professionalism in discharging its important constitutional duties, we urge it to continue to rise above blackmail and intimidation by some self-serving political interests, and continue to give full expression to the tenets of the law, irrespective of the identity or status of the parties involved,” the party’s spokesman Felix Morka said.

POSITION AND ROLE OF THE JUDICIARY IN THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

The Judiciary occupies the third position in the hierarchy of the Three Tiers of Government according to Nigeria's 1999 Military Presidential Constitution. In other climes, the Judiciary is rated numero uno because the administration of any form of government rests squarely on the Rule of Law in order to avoid chaotic situations through policy somersaults!

As arbiter between the Executive and the Legislature, the Judiciary must remain a very articulate, strong, reliable and veritable institution to be trusted by the Citizens in whose domain squarely rests SOVEREIGNTY when comes to fairness, equity and JUSTICE in respect of ARBITRATION!

However the cliché which states that the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man should have accommodated an addendum that, it is also the hope of t institutional money bags whose only credential is possession of a Secondary School Certificate - Pass or Fail - to vie for elective positions!

The Federal Republic of Nigeria is unfortunately saddled with the Office of such characters highly favored by the bogus constitution to call the shots in all aspects of execution of the document from the Executive through the Legislature to the Local Government Areas (LGAs), in any manner as they deemed fit in all manner of fiscal, monetary or financial matters!

The area of judicial manipulation is the simplest adjudication for Mr. President WHO HIRES AND FIRES at his whims and caprices!

AGGRIEVED POLITICIANS OF OPPOSITION PARTIES ALWAYS LOST AT THE COURTS OVER "TECHNICALITIES"!
QUADRENNIAL ELECTIONS MUST BEGIN WITH FINANCIAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE ELECTION UMPIRE - HIRED AND PAID BY THE PRESIDENT!
LITMUS TEST AWAITS SUPREME COURT TO PUT THE RECORDS STRAIGHT IN THE CONTROVERSIAL KANO STATE GUBERNATORIAL APPEAL COURT JUDGEMENT IN THE COMING DAYS!

ARE POLITICAL OFFICES NOW MERCHANDISED BY THE COURTS TO HIGHEST BIDDERS?

Nothing is hidden from the Almighty God! Whatever a Man Sows, that he shall also reap - especially Mr. BAT who has now reduced the sorrows, agonies and pains of over 150 Multi-dimensionally poverty stricken Nigerians into a COMEDY THAT SHOULD QUALIFY HIS INAUGURATION GAFFES FOR GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS!
A SADISTIC SHOW OF AN ACCIDENTAL PUBLIC SERVANT IN GOVERNMENT!

Politics / Let My People Go Or Perish Like Pharaoh! by z07ion: 10:02pm On Nov 25, 2023
The sudden and disastrous end of UNREPENTANT NIGERIAN POLITICAL OUTCASTS who have bluntly refused to return to the State Coffers all illicitly acquired wealth of several years through the wasteful Presidential System and have also reneged on the popular demand for a costless Unicameral Parliamentary System has begun! It began to manifest through a raging PLAGUE that is already consuming them and their cronies with all manner of incurable diseases from 1st November 2023 and would last till midnight 31st December 2023 when all of them would have been consumed!

This divine prophetic judgement which will be executed in stages is a re-enactment of the Ten Biblical Egyptian Plagues (Exodus
7-12:36), against all OUTCAST CORRUPT POLITICIANS in Nigeria!

The punishments will not affect all RIGHTEOUS POLITICIANS who had refused to eat the fruits of corruption in any form because they have their Refuge in GOSHEN!

In addition to the TEN PLAGUES, THE THREE CORONA VIRUSES STRAINS will be added to their calamity and also THE VICIOUS WORMS that ATE ALIVE THE BIBLICAL KING HEROD WILL ALSO EAT THEM ALL UP ONE AFTER THE OTHER UNTIL THEY ALL PERISH FOR THE SIN OF DISOBEDIENCE TO SET NIGERIANS FREE FROM POLITICAL/ECONOMIC BONDAGE!

It was time for Nigerians who had suffered untold economic hardships in their own country for 63 years to be set free to enjoy the Parliamentary System and breath fresh air of FREEDOM!
Mr. Tinubu and his cabal have no choice than to obey Divine Commandment or face His Wrath!

WHO ARE THE OUTCASTS?
1) All those who have perpetrated systemic corruption and have turned Nigeria's economy into a similitude of a Banana Republic from 1960-2023!
2) The money launderers with questionable sources of income; who have stolen the mandate and sovereignty from the people and robbed the polity of collective patrimony and have amassed stupendous liquid cash that cannot pass through the commercial Banks of the country!
3) They are those who have shared the Oil Wells amongst themselves with the succinct support of State Security apparatuses at the detriment of indigenous Host communities who dwell in penury and abject poverty.
4) All political appointees in the EXECUTIVE THE LEGISLATURE, JUDICIARY, FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS not excluding MINISTRIES, DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES (MDAs), who have all become multi-billionaires/trillionaires through politics in the past 63 years of Nigeria as a sovereign nation!
5) They executed OIL THEFTS with executive impunity/precision with the NNPCL (The Four Towers of Corruption), as partners in crime!
6) They are those who have denied the very fundamental objectives of the citizens as stipulated in Chapter II of an illegal/unscrutinized 1999 Secret Constitution carried out through military surrogates!

Excerpts of Violated Rights of Nigerian Citizens in Bondage as follows:

CHAPTER II
FUNDAMENTAL OBJECTIVES AND DIRECTIVE PRINCIPLES OF STATE POLICY!

¶13. It shall be the duty and responsibility of all organs of government, and of all authorities and persons, exercising legislative, executive or judicial powers, to conform to, observe and apply the provisions of this Chapter of this Constitution.
14. (1) The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall be a State based on the principles of democracy and social justice. FALSE!
(2) It is hereby, accordingly, declared that:
(a) Sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom government through this Constitution derives all its powers and authority; FALSE!

Politics / Ngn2.17 Trillion Supplementary Budget Is a Bigger Fraud. by z07ion: 2:31pm On Nov 11, 2023
NGN2.17 TRILLION SUPPLEMENTARY BUDGET IS BIGGER FRAUD THAN P&ID'S $6.6 BILLION ROBBERY!

Nigeria would have paid a whopping sum of USD$6.6 billion plus interest to a foreign company known and addressed as Process and Industrial Developments (P&ID), which was in August 2019 granted leave by the UK Business and Property Courts to enforce a 2013 award against Nigeria by three-member Arbitration Tribunal which relied on the Application Act 1996 (England and Wales) and the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act 2004!

However, it has now been fully exposed by the British Court that the P&ID failed gas deal was a voodoo contract perfected through bribes to Nigerian enemies of state employed in the civil service of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In our Zion B-BC Newsletter Vol.8, 320th Edition dated 29th September 2019, and titled, "Nigerians Had Suffered International Condemnation Through Perpetual Bad Leadership!", We mentioned similar dubious foreign contracts bribery scandals especially during the military regime of late General Sani Abacha by a US Based Oil Drilling Company called HALLIBURTON!

But greater emphasis was devoted to the foreign Irish Company P&ID which planned to steal USD$9.6billion dollars by hook and crook from Nigeria!
Please find below excerpts from that publication which are very instructive to the favourable judgment of Monday 30thOctober 2023:

"WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN 2010 AND 2019?
The 2010 controversial contract was awarded to the Irish Portfolio Investment Company, incorporated in the British Virgin Island, by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Administration headed by President Ebele Jonathan, and from all narratives, the contract was shrouded in much secrecy within the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Towers where it was signed, sealed and delivered without the approval of the Federal Executive Council (FEC)!
Although the Change Administration of APC under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari, took over governance in 2015, not much of the said botched contract and judgement in favour of P&ID was revealed in the public domain until now!
 WHO INTRODUCED P&ID TO NIGERIA? Investigations are still on to unravel how the foreigners infiltrated Nigeria's economic space!
 WHO ARE THEIR NIGERIAN PARTNERS & BOARD MEMBERS? None!
 WHERE IS THEIR HEAD OFFICE LOCATION AND BRANCH OUTLETS IN NIGERIA? General T. Y. Danjuma's Offices in Taraba & Abuja?
 WHAT WAS THEIR STAFF STRENGTH IN NIGERIA IN 2010? No staff outside Messrs.Michael Quinn & Brendan Cahill, who allegedly stole the Gas Contract IDEA from retired General T. Y. Danjuma!
DOES P&ID POSSESS ANY TRACK RECORD IN PROCESS/DEVELOPMENT?"

CNN REPORT
Nigeria’s government is celebrating a “landmark victory” after a UK court ruled it was not liable for a multibillion-dollar payout earlier awarded to a private firm over a failed gas project.

The West African nation was previously ordered by an arbitration tribunal in 2017 to pay $6.6 billion, plus interest in damages to a British Virgin Islands-based engineering firm, Process and Industrial Developments Limited (P&ID).

The company had sued for compensation over lost profits following the collapse of a 20-year deal with Nigerian authorities in 2010 to build a gas processing facility.

The awarded sum and accumulated interest had now exceeded $11 billion, nearly half of Nigeria’s federal budget for this year.

If upheld by the London court, the tribunal’s $11 billion payout to P&ID would have taken a devastating toll on Nigeria’s already struggling economy, which owes billions of dollars in debt and grapples with high inflation and a cost-of-living crisis.

What went wrong?

Disagreements after both parties blamed each other for defaulting on obligations led to the failed deal and sparked a lengthy legal battle.

Lawyers for the Nigerian government had argued that P&ID induced the country’s officials with bribes for the contract to be awarded to the firm. P&ID denied this allegation.

Delivering judgment on Monday, Judge Robin Knowles set aside the earlier ruling by the tribunal and concluded that the gas deal was “obtained by fraud” and “procured … contrary to public policy.”

Knowles added: “This case has also, sadly, brought together a combination of examples of what some individuals will do for money. Driven by greed and prepared to use corruption; giving no thought to what their enrichment would mean in terms of harm for others.”

Nigeria’s Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi told state media after the ruling that the deal with the P&ID did not follow due process.

“The purported agreement by P&ID was conceived, nurtured, and executed purportedly in fraud,” he said, adding that the Nigerian government had been under pressure to reach a settlement prior to Monday’s ruling.

“There was so much pressure to settle … but the president insisted he was not going to allow corruption any place in his administration … and his insistence on this has proven him right.”

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu welcomed Knowles’ ruling, describing it as a “landmark victory” that “is not for Nigeria alone” but “for our long exploited continent and for the developing world at large, which has for too long been on the receiving end of unjust economic malpractice and overt exploitation.”

TOTAL 2023 BUDGET IS NOW NGN5.268 TRILLION + NGN2.17 TRILLION = NGN7.285 TRILLION SOURCED THROUGH EXTERNAL BORROWED FUNDS!

Tinubu plans to disburse the already approved supplementary budget in the following scandalous manner:
1. NGN13.5 billion naira for renovation of the Aso Villa.
2.NGN7.3 billion naira on cars for the State House.
3. NGN57.6 billion naira for foreign Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), for the National Assembly Lawmakers.
4. NGN 12.7 billion for the presidential air fleet.
5. NGN 5 billion naira for a presidential yatch.
6. The Nigerian Navy will also receive additional NGN 62.8 billion four operations outside of the five billion naira for the purchase of the presidential yatch!
7. NGN 1.5 billion for purchase of vehicles for the office of the First Lady.

PEANUTS FOR EDUCATIONAL LOAN FUND!
Although Mr Bola Tinubu has been affirmed as a graduate of the Chicago State University USA, he does not really believe in human capital development which should serve as the greatest foundation for social economic emancipation for the nation's recalcitrant indebtedness!

He has therefore appropriated a paltry sum of NGN5.5 billion naira to the Education Loan Fund under the Students Loan Act but following public outcry appropriation for the YATCH HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THE EDUCATION LOAN FUND!
He however promised that 15 million out of the 133 multi-dimensional poor Nigerians would be beneficiaries of the NGN 1.1 trillion naira Conditional Cash Transfer Scheme which began under the Buhari Administration.

Mr. BAT has recuperated from previous globe trottings and will embark on further foreign journeys to Saudi Arabia to attract more investments!

FOR THE TAXPAYERS INFORMATION!

80% of annual revenue is deployed to DEBT SERVICING - NOT PAYMENT!

In spite of the fact that the presidential system of government is too expensive for a developing nation like Nigeria the politicians have stuck to it because it is through the system that they can live in affluence through institutional corruption!

With the introduction of a Unicameral Parliamentary System of government through REFERENDUM these new set of OUTCASTS must be eliminated permanently from governnance!

Politics / "I Did Not Promise Nigerians Eldorado From The Beginning!" by z07ion: 9:51pm On Nov 04, 2023
President 'Bola Tinubu in his first impromptu but very insensitive reaction to the Supreme Court's verdict which affirmed his candidature as the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, told Nigerians to have " a change of mind set; let us be positive for our country... develop spirit of more work, dedication, patriotism, after all we did not promise an ELDORADO from the beginning.... we need to contribute in all ways possible ... it’s time for work.. more hard work... not for our self aggrandizement .... but do this for the coming generation .... of our children and grandchildren....!

An Eldorado is an illusion, mirage of the existence of a well- endowed country in the South America which had all resources - especially abundant gold and where everything works perfectly! Obsessed Spanish explorers never found the nation!
Should Mr.Tinubu add insult to the injuries perpetrated through his gullibility on sudden removal of fuel subsidy without requisite palliatives to cushion the ripple effects of the sufferings on over 130 million multi-dimensional poverty-striken population?

THE SUPREME COURT CONSENSUS JUDGMENT IS REGRETTABLE!

The Nigerian 1999 Military Constitution could be best described as a conglomeration of obnoxious laws and treaties deliberately enacted to further subject socio-economically battered citizens to perpetual suffering by consecutive oligarchic governments forced upon them! Through the controversial document Mr. 'Bola Tinubu has bagged a four-year opportunity to free accommodation, meals, medical tourism, holidays etc. through a consensus Apex Court decision. The Supreme Court on Thursday 26th October 2023 was forced to uphold the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 Presidential election.
It turned out a hatchet job for the SEVEN SUPREME COURT JUDGES who for the reason of their special number were expected to carry out a perfect national assignment.
Biblically the Number 7 (seven), stands for perfection but their hands were tied due to the provisions of the obnoxious national document which turned out to be their albatross - the "legal working tool" and had no choice than to carry out the legal duties as guided by the extant laws as enacted in the bogus Constitution and the 2020 Electoral Laws as amended! While the learned judges were pained to the heart because the LAW WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN AN ASS, the motley gang of sadists which gathered at the STATE HOUSE ABUJA congratulated their mentor for the final victory and assured him of their solidarity while he in return promised that their jobs were secured.

The political jobbers urge Mr. Tinubu to move forward with a sustained tempo of institutional corruption in spite of the fact that the economy has nose-dived and is on ground zero!
The apex court in its ruling dismissed the appeals by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart Peter Obi.
The seven-judge panel ruled as without merit the opposition appeals over claims of fraud, electoral law violations, and Tinubu’s ineligibility to run for president.
The apex court thrashed all the grounds of appeal of Atiku and PDP on qualification, non-compliance with the Electoral Act, the 25% votes in FCT, and electoral malpractice.

However President Bola Tinubu unlike late President Umar Yar 'Ardua who was voted in similar circumstances in the year 2007, hailed the Supreme Court verdict that upheld his electoral victory at the February 25, 2023 presidential poll. The apex court in its ruling dismissed the appeals by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar; and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.
In the unanimous judgment, the apex court dismissed the petitions. A seven-judge panel ruled as without merit the opposition appeals over claims of fraud, electoral law violations, and Tinubu’s ineligibility to run for President.

TINUBU'S OFFICIALLY-DRAFTED STATEMENT BY HIS SPOKESMAN - AJURI NGELALE!

STATEMENT BY H.E. PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR
IT IS TIME FOR US TO BUILD OUR GREAT NATION TOGETHER
I welcome the verdict of the Justice John I. Okoro-led Panel of the Supreme Court on the Presidential Election petitions filed by the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, challenging the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
The court has done justice to all issues put up for consideration in the petitions on the merits of the law, without fear or favour.
There is no doubt, with the profound judgment of today, that our electoral jurisprudence and constitutional democracy are further consolidated and embedded more indelibly in our national identity because of the diligence and undaunted professionalism of the Honourable Justices who presided over the matter.

While the verdict of today has laid to rest the agitating discourse over who truly won the 2023 Presidential election and met the constitutional requirements as laid out by law, I want to reiterate that my faith in our nation’s judiciary has never been shaken, not even for a moment, because I know that our hallowed courts of law will not fail to administer justice to all Nigerians in all matters and at all times. Despite the fusillade of pressure and attempts at intimidation by some political actors, the judiciary demonstrated its unequivocal commitment to upholding the rule of law for the upliftment and defense of humanity.
It was affirmed once more today, that my party, the governing All Progressives’ Congress, had freely and fairly won the popular mandate of Nigerians, which has since given rise to my leadership of this great nation at a tumultuous period of unprecedented reforms in our history as a nation.
With deep gratitude to God Almighty, I solemnly and humbly accept today’s judicial victory with an intense sense of responsibility and a burning desire to meet the great challenges confronting our people.

The victory of today has further energised and strengthened my commitment to continue to serve all Nigerians of all political persuasions, tribes, and faiths, with honour and total respect for the diverse opinions and uniting values of our citizens.
Our Renewed Hope agenda for a greater and prosperous Nigeria has further gained momentum and I will continue to work from morning to night, every single day, to build a country that meets our collective yearnings and aspirations.
We are all members of one household, and this moment demands that we continue to work and build our country together. The strength of our diversity and the great citizenship that binds us must now compel us forward in directing the energy of our people towards building a virile, stronger, united, and more prosperous country.

In the days and months ahead, I trust that the spirit of patriotism will be elevated into supporting our administration to improve the living conditions of Nigerians. I am prepared to welcome the contributions of all Nigerians to foster and strengthen our collective progress.
I send my immense gratitude to all Nigerians for the mandate to serve our country. I promise again to meet and exceed your expectations in service delivery and good governance, working with my team and trusting in the grace of God.

May God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President and Commander-in-Chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria
October 26, 2023.

THE CITIZENS' VERDICT!!!
The entire litigation process has been an orchestrated charade. It now behoves on Mr. Emi 'lokan to yield to the popular advocacy through REFERENDUM, FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT TO COME TO FRUITION IMMEDIATELY!
Time is essence!

Politics / Politicians Offshore Accounts Can Offset Foreign And Domestic Debts Of Nigeria. by z07ion: 8:43pm On Oct 28, 2023
POLITICIANS OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS CAN OFFSET ALL FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC DEBTS OF NIGERIA.

It is no longer a secret that many Nigerian politicians have illicit monies acquired through corruption and stashed away in unscrupulous foreign banks which feast on fat interest rates to the detriment of compliance to international best practice in banking rules and regulations!

Leading the pack of hidden foreign loots is none other than the late Military dictator Sani Abacha, who occupied the position of Head of State of Nigeria for five years (1993-1998), successful transferred the entire Central Bank's Vault to foreign banks in his name!

In July 2023, it was established that the total recovered Abacha Loot stood at USD$5 billion dollars and the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered FOUR PAST GOVERNMENT to disclose, confirm and explain disbursement of the said amount which has been shrouded in mystery for 24 years!
The court ordered the government of President Bola Tinubu to “disclose the exact amount of money stolen by General Sani Abacha from Nigeria."

By Press Release
July 9, 2023
The Federal High Court in Abuja, in a landmark judgment, has ordered the disclosure of the spending details of about $5 billion Abacha loot by the governments of former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Umaru Yar’Adua, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari within SEVEN DAYS of the ruling following a suit against the Federal Government by the Social-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

The court ordered the government of President Bola Tinubu to “disclose the exact amount of money stolen by General Sani Abacha from Nigeria, and the total amount of Abacha loot recovered and all agreements signed on same by the governments of former presidents Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, Jonathan and Buhari.”

It's over THREE MONTHS since the judgment and Mr. Tinubu's All Progressives Congress is yet to come up with any report! Will those governments which display official impunity with relish continue to have their way

2016 PANAMA PAPERS REPORT ON BUKOLA SARAKI AND 110 NIGERIAN POLITICIANS IN 2016!

MEDIA REPORTS COMPILED BY SAHARA REPORTERS.

Saraki, Mark, Others In Trouble As Presidency Orders Probe Of Nigerians Named In Panama Papers ,August 19, 2016.

The senate president, Bukola Saraki, and his predecessor, David Mark, and other prominent Nigerians may soon be in trouble as the Presidency has ordered the investigation of present and past Nigerian officials named in the Panama Papers scandal. The chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, Sam Saba, confirmed the directive to PREMIUM TIMES. This newspaper had published leaked papers from a Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonsecca, which were obtained by the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The 2.6 TB files, involving 214,488 entities, exposed incredible secrets of the underworld economy, where a network of banks, law firms and other middlemen utilize shell companies, sometimes to hide illegal wealth.
PREMIUM TIMES identified at least 110 Nigerians and companies operating offshore shell companies in tax havens. Mr. Saba said the Presidency forwarded names of some persons mentioned in the Panama Papers, to the agency for investigation.

“I want to let you know that government has written to us and given us some names based on what they have been reading and hearing regarding that document,” Mr. Saba said.
He said as soon as the #PanamaPapers reporting started, the CCB attempted to get the full leaks until PREMIUM TIMES assisted it by making some details for its scrutiny.
Mr. Saba said the CCB, after studying the papers, has questions for some public officers in the country.
He would not, however, disclose the names of the affected public officers.

“I think it (Panama Papers) is going to be helpful because already we have some questions for certain public officers, which I will not be able to disclose at the moment. Until they finish answering those questions, I may not be able to discuss it,” he said.

The CCB boss said the agency took some time to respond because it could not secure the leaked documents.
“I tried to access the document via the internet, but I was required to subscribe and pay some money, which I didn’t have, M. Saba said.

IT'S SEVEN YEARS SINCE THIS PUBLICATION AND THE POLITICIANS ARE STILL WALKING FREE!

PETER OBI, LABOR PARTY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE ALSO HAS CASE TO ANSWER!

It was revealed that Mr Peter obi also had money stashed away in offshore accounts identified as the PANDORA PAPERS, and failed to disclose his involvement in money laundering!

He denied any wrong doing, contested the 2023 Presidential Elections on which he came THIRD, but he's in court to claim the FIRST position!

QUESTIONS:
For how long will Nigerians continue to be thread roughshod by corrupt politicians from 1960-2023?
All the candidates at the last 2023 Presidential Elections had black spots and dents in respect of dubious acquisition of illegal wealth and yet were voted for by a manipulated Electorate!

On Monday the 23rd of October 2023 the Supreme Court of Nigeria will give its judgement on the Appeals made by the runners up against the incumbent Bola Ahmed Tinubu!
Whichever way it goes Nigeria no longer needs a presidential system of government but a Unicameral PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM which will give opportunity to CLEAN PARLIAMENTARIANS from the grassroots to participate in governance henceforth.

It is our firm belief that this system of government which WE HAVE ADVOCATED FOR TEN GOOD YEARS WILL COME TO FRUITION THROUGH A POPULAR REFERENDUM!
THE ZEAL OF THE LORD WILL make IT HAPPEN AMEN.

Politics / Did B.a.t Catch Cold Over Chicago Certificate Controversies? by z07ion: 11:12pm On Oct 14, 2023
IS MR. PRESIDENT HIBERNATING? DID HE CATCH COLD OVER CHICAGO CERTIFICATE CONTROVERSIES?

The low-key profile celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of Nigeria's Independence as a sovereign nation has taken away the beehive of activities for which the Aso Rock State House, Abuja occupants are accostomed to!

For instance since Mr.Tinubu's return from the 78th Edition of the United Nations General Assembly Summit (#UNGA 78), held in New York United States of America in the month of September 2023, incumbent President 'Bola Tinubu deliberately kept indoors while his Vice Kashim Shettima has been running the show from the side lines!

Tinubu stealthily returned on 29th September 2023, one week after his entourage had arrived Nigeria without fanfare and while the citizens began to raise eye brows, somebody popped up on TV on 1st October 2023 and made some funny announcements centred mostly on averting the impending organized labour indefinite showdown which was to commence on the 3rd October 2023!

The person who appeared on television promised many things to cushion the hard/biting effects of sudden and unthoughtful removal of the so-called petroleum scam popular referred to as subsidy!

And the desperate two-day negotiations that followed from 1st -2nd October 2023 and which did not directly involve Mr. President, announcement was made that across board all Federal Civil Servants/MDAs would from September collect additional NGN35,000 naira plus the NGN30,000 minimum wage until negotiations for WOKERS FRESH MINIMUM WAGES were concluded.

The Man on TV on 1st October 2023 also said among other things that efforts would be made to fast-track the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Buses, Cars and Trucks that would bring down cost of transportation and also that the very poor Nigerians whom they claimed to have identified would also be upgraded with THREE-MONTH MONEY PALLIATIVES OF NGN25K NAIRA also as temporary measures!

IS PRESIDENTIAL SPOKESPERSON AJURI NGELALE SACKED?

Nigerians have been wondering why outcome of Government/Labor negotiations announcement was made by a top official of Mr. Tinubu's government in the Presidency and whereas the official spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale had returned to Nigeria from New York where he was very active and made several announcements but suddenly has become noticeably silent!

Question: Where is Ajuri Ngelale and why has Mr President kept indoors since he returned from the United States of America? The last we heard of Ajuri had to do with negative publications about how the media established that he had gaffed severally on duty while trying to promote the SHATTERED IMAGE of Mr 'Bola Tinubu during his short appointment of less than three months! Could his appointment also be termed " one of the jobs for the boys?"

THE NIPR HAS AN AXE TO GRIND WITH MR. NGALALE NON-QUALIFICATION JUST AS ATIKU WITH MR. TINUBU'S CSU CERTIFICATE!

Media reports claim that Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has queried the qualification and competence of Ajuri Ngelale to speak for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following recent gaffes in the statement he released on behalf of his boss.

Ngelale, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was recently in the eyes of the storm over a statement he issued following the ringing of the closing bell by the President at NASDAQ Exchange last week.

He also committed another gaffe when he falsely claimed that the United Arab Emirates had lifted visa restrictions on Nigerians following a meeting between the country’s President and President Tinubu.

Reacting to the gaffes, NIPR said that Ngelale was ordinarily not ‘fit’ to hold the exalted position he now occupies in the Tinubu Presidency because he lacked the basic knowledge and requisite training on public relations.

Speaking in this vein, the newly elected council of NIPR under the leadership of Dr. Ike Neliaku said while Ngelale’s journalism pedigree, antecedents and credentials are not in doubt, he is legally not qualified for the current job he is doing at the Presidency.

FACT CHECKS BY SAHARA REPORTERS ALSO CLAIMED THAT NGELALE WAS NOT PR COMPLIANT!

Checks by SaharaReporters show that the NIPR, which was established in 1963 as the professional body of qualified Public Relations Practitioners, attained charter status in 1990 with Decree 16 (now Act of the National Assembly.
In January 2019, the NIPR said based on its law, it is a criminal offence to appoint spokespersons without certification in public relations.

Quoting Muhktar Sirajo, the then NIPR President, the statement read: “There are laid down rules about appointing spokespersons; the law establishing NIPR makes it a criminal offence for anybody to practise public relations by whatever name without certification or licensed by NIPR.

“There are set parameters of knowledge you need to acquire before you can practice public relations. The law actually provides for imprisonment, fine, or both.
“The government is either unaware of, or has forgotten that there is a law that says you cannot practice Public Relations, PR, without licence from the NIPR. In essence, the government too cannot appoint a spokesperson if that person is not licensed by the NIPR.”

One of the governing council members who reportedly spoke in confidence said, “We have checked our records and membership register and we could not find Ajuri Ngelale in the list. One can be a good writer, broadcaster or journalist but there are set parameters of knowledge a communicator needs to acquire including qualification before he/she can practice Public Relations in Nigeria.

PRESIDENCY APOLOGIES!

Meanwhile, the Presidency later admitted that it goofed by issuing a corrigendum on Friday, saying, “We inadvertently referred to President Bola Tinubu as the first African leader to ring the bell at NASDAQ on Wednesday in New York, based on the information provided by a third-party event organiser.
“We have since found out that this information was/is incorrect as a former African leader has indeed had the privilege.
“This error is sincerely regretted.”

ADDENDUM: TINUBU'S AMERICAN JAMBOREE!

President Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria after a week of silence on his whereabouts at the end of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
There were concerns about the president’s itinerary after members of the delegation which accompanied him to the US returned to the country.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, as well as the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, were among those who accompanied him to the US.
Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, had been silent on the location of Tinubu who departed New York on September 22.
The president’s whereabouts were unknown until he returned to Nigeria on Friday night, 29th September 2023, although unconfirmed reports had it that he flew to Paris from New York.

NOTHING IS HIDDEN UNDER THE SUN! EVERY ACT OF DECEIT HAS A TERMINAL DATE!

Nigeria will soon be delivered from all the deceitful leaders and lovers of illicit money who have clung teneciously to the presidential wasteful system of government instead of embracing the unicameral parliamentary system which will embrace grassroot participation and where parliamentarians could even work on part-time basis and collect stipends while the nation moves forward in true democracy!
Sooner than they expect, they all will become OUTCASTS!

Politics / Youth Leadership In Nigeria Has No Liver! by z07ion: 11:02pm On Sep 23, 2023
Youth leadership in Nigeria is a rudderless ship adrift on a turbulent sea - which translates to the truth that they have no form of leadership at all!

Historically the Labour Party which came third in the February 2023 Presidential Election is an offshoot of #END SARS END POLICE BRUTALITY GANG, which barked but unable to bite through a massive but dis-organized 2020 Lekki Toll Gate Lagos protests to which several innocent youths lost their lives at the prime!

The dead were unidentified, unappriciated, unmourned, unsung, and unwailed because the Diarchy said, "Nobody died" - in spite of "unknown soldiers" involvement and of a Kangaroo Inquest instituted by Civilian Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos.

But recently, 13th - 14th July 2023, "103 unidentified dead bodies" were decongested of some Lagos State Morgues and officially disposed in a mass burial by the Lagos State Government at a cost of NGN 61,285,000!

The bodies were believed to those of the unfortunate youths who lost their lives at Lekki Toll Gate on 20-20-20!
And whereas, media news had it that soldiers deployed to quell the legitimate but ill- fated Lekki Toll Gate protests removed all casualties without living a trace with military precision!
Similar Youth Protests were organized in other State Capitals including Abuja Federal Capital Territory (FCT), but Lekki took the shine off the others in spite of the fact that no leadership was identified among them!

A TOTALLY LOST VENTURE?

According to The Cable Report of the 13th October 2020, the protests which started as a gathering in some parts of the country crippled economic activities in major cities.

From Ogbomosho in Oyo to Surulere in Lagos to the nation’s capital and parts of many other states, protesters called for police reform and demanded an end to brutality.

"For the fourth day running, #EndSARS has been among the top trends on social media.
The killing of a young man in Delta state and the brutalization of another person in Lagos had triggered this unrest which made Mohammed Adamu, inspector-general of police, to dissolve the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) 48 hours after the youths trooped to the streets.

"Refusing to back down, the protesters said dissolving of SARS is just one out of the demands that they have. They vowed not to leave the streets until all other demands are met.
"Earlier on Tuesday, Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, announced that presidential panel on the reform of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) had accepted the five-point demand of the Immediate release of all arrested protesters

Justice for all deceased victims of police brutality and appropriate compensations for their families.

Setting up an independent body to oversee the investigation and prosecution of all reported police misconduct within a period of 10 days

Carrying out psychological evaluation and retaining of all disbanded SARS operatives before they can deployed (this should be verified by an independent body).

The government should increase police salary and they should adequately compensated for protecting lives and property of the citizens"

SHALLOW DEMANDS OF THE #ENDSARS ORGANIZERS CENTERED MORE ON POLICE WELFARE RATHER THAN RESTORATION OF CITIZENS’ SOVEREIGNTY/FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS, TOTAL EXTERMINATION OF ENDEMIC CORRUPTION AMONG THE POLITICIANS, ELIMINATION OF UNBEARABLE INSECURITIES OF LIVES, PROPERTIES (INCLUDING STRATEGIC GOVERNMENT INFRASTRUCTURES), AND POSITIVE POLICIES TO ERASE NEGATIVE & UNFAVORABLE ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL INDEXES AGAINST NIGERIA!

Freedom Fighters were never afraid to confront illegitimate authorities and kick them out of office - even at the peril of their lives. But these set of the 2020 #ENDSARS GROUP fell short of such qualities or determination!

They would neither go to detention nor prison and the untimely death of all unidentified HEROES OF THE PROTESTS had further kept them in the graveyard of everlasting silence!

NO WONDER THE OLD ARMY GENERAL, BUHARI, LABELED THEM AS LAZY YOUTHS WHILE HIS SURROGATE NOW SAYS NIGERIANS WERE NOT LAZY PEOPLE IN ORDER TO CURRY FAVOUR!

In the past 10 years the Zion B-BC Newsletter Stable in several advocacies on YOUTH LEADERSHIP had published dozens of motivational treatises to encourage them to take over the mantle of leadership from the current PREDATORS THROUGH DEMAND FOR A UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT TO NO AVAIL!

HAVE THE YOUTHS NOW CHOSEN PETER OBI AS THEIR LEADER?

The desperation or Peter Obi to become the President of Nigeria through the application of YOUTH FORCE has further denegrated their chances and put them at loggerheads with other law-abiding Nigerians!

These are the same lily-livered youths who could not execute a simple protest against government to change the system when they had the opportunity but are now hiding behind another desperate politician to achieve their goals!

This is 21st Century World where the RULE OF LAW does not permit aggression by any group or gang of people to change position of leadership except through lawful means!
Leadership must be earned by those who deserve to be there and not by charlatans! No wonder, Nobel Laureate, Professor 'Wole Soyinka, described their attitude as "GBAJU E "!
(Force of lies).

NIGERIA ONCE HAD YOUTH LEADERSHIP THROUGH BARREL OF GUNS - THEY MUST NOW BE REPLACED BY CEREBRALS WHO POSSESS BRAINS, BRAWN AND WITS!

The way forward is for the current youths especially those who have good education to see that a rather costless system of government which can only be found in a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM which will entertain grass-root politics from the constituencies to the central government level where the party
with the greatest votes present the Prime Minister and a Cabinet.

THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. NIGERIA NEEDS A BUNCH OF SERVICE PROVIDERS WHO COLLECT STIPENDS AS SITTING ALLOWANCES IN A NEW NIGERIA OF OUR DREAMS, NOT PECUNIARY-ORIENTED YOUTHS!

"Righteousness exalts a nation. Sin is a reproach to all people." (Prov. 14:34).

Politics / G20 Leaders Must Re-locate To The Moon For Africa To Breathe! by z07ion: 11:01pm On Sep 15, 2023
Neo-colonialism has always been the hidden agenda of the superpowers because they could not sustain their industries without raw materials from Africa. France for instance is faced with a revolution through military coups in its former colonies in Central and sub-saharan Africa which have risen to Eight armed dissentions in the past two years.
Since the close of WW II in 1945. France kept firm grip on those colonies through its military bases which it claimed were stationed for defence strategies!

The United States also has hundreds of military bases across the world mostly in Third World or Developing Countries.
It no longer a secret that such military bases were deliberate exhibition of international territorial expansion program of the world powers!

All eyes have been on the colonies which they manipulate with Aids, Grants and Loans under the pretext of Economic Support whereas the hidden agenda was to keep the countries in perpetual slavery for the main purpose of harnessing their raw materials which are in abundance to keep their industries afloat.

INDIA HAS LANDED ON THE MOON!

Now that India has joined the MOON EXPLORERS and has invited the G20 Club of which it is a member to celebrate its space conquest then it is pertinent for all of them to relocate now to the moon so that the African Nations would be able to develop and breathe!
India also is a prominent member of BRICS but is it not shocking and intriguing that both China and Russia declined to attend the G20 Summit?

We have always said it that these so-called developed countries who want to dominate the world and keep the underdeveloped ones in perpetual slavery even after their independence and sovereignty would continually instigate War of Attrition that would keep lesser countries in permanent state of poverty and under-development.
In 1947 British India was partitioned, ending three hundred years of colonial rule with the creation of two independent nations: India and Pakistan (comprising West and East Pakistan, present-day Bangladesh).
Would it be out of place for India to venture into neo- colonialism?

G20 COMPETITION FOR TERRITORIAL EXPANSION !

Civilized countries of the 16th -19th Centuries embarked on worldwide expansion of their territories through colonization of primitive and underdeveloped countries of Africa, the Far East and the Carribeans.
However the 20th Century Universe gradually witnessed gale of Independent status granted to several overseas slave countries with stringent legalistic strings of treatise, conventions to keep them to the Masters' apron strings!
Come to think of it, is any country totally independent from the other whether developed, backward or developing? The world through modern science and information communication technology has assumed the status of a global village where socio-economic needs and natural resources were exchanged with the lightening speed of light or sound!
Raw materials for overseas businesses in manufacturing and industry were continually sourced from the former colonies to keep their economies on stream while the finished products were exported to the surrogate countries to keep them tied to their masters' apron string permanently!

THE SUPER POWERS AND G20 CLUB HAVE POCKETED THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE THROUGH PSEUDO ROCKET SCIENCE ESCAPADES!

Just like his predecessor in office 'Bola Tinubu preferred to travel abroad and showcase his incompetence and ignorance in governance instead of staying at home to solve socio-economic problems that affect the citizens.
He departed Nigeria on the day the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) declared a two-day warning strike and flew to India to attend the G20 World Summit of developed Nations. And as usual, he was accompanied with an entourage of about 30 Ministers/ business moguls but wasted no time to beg Indian billionaires cap in hand to come and invest in Nigeria!
His 100 days in office have witnessed no development in socio-economic activities but total reversal and backwardness in all endeavors of life. And it has been exposed that, some sections THE NIGERIAN PRESS (especially Ray Power/AIT), are complicit to the myriads of social problems that escalated through sudden removal of subsidy without palliatives in any form through their warped condemnation of the WARNING STRIKE against an INSENSITIVE GOVERNMENT! It is established that the oligarchy and Cabal are at work again in Nigeria to further suppress the citizens who are made sub-servient while those domicile in the Diaspora were also treated with contempt and as "lowlifes!"

YOU MUST STOP THEM FROM PUTTING YOU DOWN EVERY FOUR YEARS!

The game plan of all Nigerian politicians had always been to take undue advantage of the largely illiterate masses and diabolically manipulate them through empty manifesto promises year on year.
The rhetoric is that Nigerians were easy going people who don't need much money to carry on their lives.
Once they have food on their tables, some menial jobs or vocations, regular incomes to pay rents for some shanties, which would be eventually demolished by the same politicians! This is a most outrageous manner to treat FIRST CLASS CITIZENS in their own country while the Constitutions deceive them with false SOVEREIGNTY!
HEADING ON GOD'S MANDATE OF UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT NIGERIA WILL STAND! AMEN.

Immediately the news of APC's victory at the Presidential Election Tribunal venue in Abuja hit the internet towards mid-night on Wednesday 6th September 2023, the Nigerian delegation to the G20 Summit in India burst into singing, dancing and shouting at the top of their voices that “on Tinubu's mandate they would stand"!
The tribunal upheld the 26th February 2023 election of 'Bola Tinubu while the Opposition parties and their supporters outrightly rejected the judgment in its entirety and are in the process of approaching the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for a final adjudication. The devil is a liar!

Politics / Must Nigeria Go Through Citizens Coup To Survive? by z07ion: 10:17pm On Sep 09, 2023
A legal Civilian Coup that will unseat Mr. 'Bola Tinubu and his gang of mauraders is closer than what the bunch of security personnel in Nigeria could phantom!
Who says that Tinubu is not a member of the sadistic seat-tight African Leaders who take delight in the persistent sufferings and corresponding untimely deaths of their majority poor masses?

What is the business of the 71-year-old former Senator, two-term State Governor and now President of Nigeria in a new 21st Nation which bubbles with youthful cerebrals in every discipline of human endeavor - especially in Information Communication Technology (ICT), Modern medicine, Agriculture, Education, Tourism, Entertainment, Sports, Aeronautic/Space Science, Marine, Naval Engineering/Technology, Technocrats in Human Development Management, Manufacturing/ Industry, Highly-trained Security Experts with Hi-Tech solutions to knotty challenges in crimes prevention and detection, institutional corruption, terrorism, gangsterism etc?
Tinubu left active political office since year 2007 at age 55! From inauguration on 29th May, 2023, he has lived in a MIRAGE!

In three months of "subsidy is gone", Tinubu is yet to provide any tangible Palliative Measure in any form and The Labour is spoiling for War!

A Divine message was delivered to 'Bola Tinubu following a prediction of the WATCHMAN that he would win the election but should in his inauguration speech promise the establishment of a UNICAMERAL PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT for Nigeria in order to eradicate all forms of insecurity due to 63 years of institutional corruption.
But he bluntly refused and instead added to the sufferings of Nigerian TALAKAWAS. Within THREE MONTHS of ascension to the presidency not less than 2,000 citizens have been killed through various forms of hardships and SECURITY LAPSES!
They should have been alive today and he has to pay because THE JUST JUDGE of disobedient children HAS JUDGE HIM. Just like SAUL the first King of Israel, he will definitely lose his position!

EMINENT HUMAN RIGHTS LAWYER 'FEMI FALANA (SAN), TELLS TINUBU TO BEWARE OF CITIZENS MUTINY!

Our warning in a recent publication - Zion B-BC Newsletter Vol. 12. No. 520 dated 30th July, 2023, and titled
TINUBU SHOULD BE AFRAID OF NIGERIAN CITIZENS - NOT SOLDIERS COUP DE TAT, was re-echoed by renowned Human Rights Lawyer and Activist, Chief. 'Femi Falana on Thursday 30th August 2023, at a Symposium organised by Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), in Abuja.

Below are excerpts of his corroborative speech which confirms that at the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter is established. At the National Symposium with the theme: “Nigeria Economy and the Crisis of Survival: Robbing the Poor to Pay the Rich", the legal luminary said : "....while the government has told the poor to tighten their belts and suffer the burden of the economic issues in the nation, public officials keep spending lavishly!

He attributed the recent trend of military juntas in Africa, particularly the most recent one that occurred in Gabon, to a number of factors, including the ruthless exploitation of African countries’ mineral resources by the West, Third-term syndrome, political manipulation of the constitution, and the establishment of foreign military bases in African nations.
He warned that as long as figures of extravagant spendings by the National Assembly continue to be churned out, Nigerians will be irritated and so will be enemies of democracy.

“They must be careful not to provoke Nigerians to mutiny. Some of the things going in the National Assembly shows that we are in trouble. 70 billion Naira for palliatives for 469 people and when we said no they claimed it was for the facelift of the National Assembly.

“Three years ago, 37 billion Naira was earmarked for the facelift of the National Assembly. That contract has not been fully executed and there is no renewal of the contract so you cannot talk about 70 billion Naira for facelift.
“Secondly, 40 billion Naira to buy exotic cars now for the leadership of the National Assembly is not going to be allowed.
“The latest provocative news from the National Assembly is that 54 billion Naira has been earmarked for constituency projects for 360 members of the House of Representatives. It has come to 150 million per person. Under this austere condition of the country.
“So when these figures are oozing out of the National Assembly Nigerians are being provoked and enemies of democracy are being provoked.
“The military has been honest to say that they are under pressure to dismantle this rickety political system but someone told them to go and deny it and they came out and denied it. But we can read between the lines. We can’t gather here to talk about democracy that is under threat.

“The immediate causes of coups in Africa today are third term syndromes, manipulation of constitution, military bases.

“Today, America has 29 military bases in Africa. France has 15. Soldiers are protesting because numbers of these foreign bases are receiving salaries as if they are in their countries. So the soldiers are protesting the preferential treatment between them and these foreign troops, so we must look at that.
“The remote causes are the ruthless exploitation of the mineral resources of our country by Western countries.
The people are getting poorer.
“The poor are asked to tighten their belts even when they are dying. We may be discussing democracy, democracy is under threat in Africa through colonial peripheral capitalist system pauperising our country and increasing poverty at a very dangerous level.”

He said that contrary to Section 16 of the Constitution, ”the Economic system was being operated in such a way as to concentrate the wealth of the country in the hands of the few or a group."

“When Dangote was said to be building a refinery, and I it publicly, the government of Nigeria gave him land free, they call it free economic zone, for themselves, all the machinery imported at the official rate which is illegal no duty was paid for the machine and the government went to the bank to take a loan of $2.7 billion to invest in a private sector and they then said, we cannot fix our refineries.

“At that stage we challenged them, you said the government has no business in business why are you funding a private enterprise? It was at that stage that they allocated $1 5 billion to fix Port Harcourt refinery, $1.4 billion to fix Kaduna and Warri refinery.

Chief Falana appealed to Nigeria Labour Congress to monitor the ongoing rehabilitation of the refineries "otherwise these guys will divert the money criminally as they have always done in the past 35 years.

“Secondly those refineries are no longer enough for us, refineries are being sold in Europe and America, The government must buy some of them and assemble them here so that we can earn revenue from our own natural resource.
“Talking about solid minerals, labour must also take cognizance of what is going on. They give licences to individuals to go and mine and pay a pittance to the government, sometimes you don’t pay anything.
“I am handling a case where the government said don’t pay for five years we want to encourage you … and the country will make $500 million in one year but the poor are asked to tighten their belt even when they are dying."

GABON - NIGERIA'S SOUTH-EAST NEIGHBOR HAS NOW BURST TINUBU'S BUBBLE!

First it was Niger Republic, North West Neighbor on 26 July 2023, now it's Gabon on 29th August, 2023, to the South East. Nigeria is not only sandwiched between Coupist in the ECOWAS Sub-region but also in the Central African Chad where SEAT-TIGHT LEADERS were being uprooted one after the other in very quick succession!

But Tinubu need not be afraid because the Lord has said He will not allow MILITARY COUP IN NIGERIA but Will Establish a Unicameral Parliamentary System of government which will be a lasting solution to the incalcitrant innumerable insecurities of decades!

Our candid opinion is for Tinubu to do the needful by calling for a popular REFERENDUM THAT THE CITIZENS MAY CHOOSE THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT BEFORE THEY - (THE PEOPLE), AND NOT SOLDIERS KICK HIM AND HIS PARTNER IN CRIME OUT OF THE TEMPORARY USURPATION OF TRANSIENT POWER!

A Word is enough for the Wise!
